It doesn't mean he’s suddenly the deep state and swamps can’t be or aren’t being drained - and that’s because of his own words regarding the files. He flat out said why it might be difficult to release them. Which is why for the moment I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt bc I have no reason to not trust his inner circle tasked with working on this. But I am confused by their handling of this and why. Critical observers not obsessed with believing they would see the light of day would have watched this clip and the takeaway should have been “wait, he didn’t actually say they’d be released. I never expected the Epstein files to see the light of day - would be nice if possible but I get why there are all kinds of issues at play here. But I absolutely expected heads to roll over Russia-gate, the Auto Pen, Fauci, election fraud, and a complete house cleaning of the MIC. So far: Russia-gate is being investigated We are clearing voter rolls The Auto-Pen investigation is starting The State Department is cleaning house The DOD has absolutely cleaned house Those were my priorities for this administration regarding the messes that needed to be cleaned up. Epstein wasn’t a mess the way those other scandals are. Epstein just became a symbol of the Deep State to well, everyone, and maybe that’s our fault. To some extent. Just because there may not be anything else there doesn’t mean that a 2 tiered justice system doesn’t exist. Just because there may not be much else there doesn’t make the other scandals or government corruption invalid. If there is anything on the Epstein front Trump is hiding it’s the potentially 100s of people tied to Epstein money or parties that will get wrongly convicted in the court of public opinion because of guilt by association. Im sure Democrats and Republicans - anyone connected to them have been fighting to not have EVERYTHING released. Not because we are protecting pedos which is absolutely absurd. Could Bill Clinton have slept with a minor courtesy of Epstein? I guess that’s possible. I’m not sure they have enough that just doesn’t make it look like they are weaponizing the files to attack political opponents. The media will either run with that or, Team Trump doctored them.

I watched almost the whole 2nd half. The non calls weren’t even the worst part. Game was on ESPN. Clark didn’t have a great game with the shooting - but she almost always makes the right pass. She could have 15 assists a game if layups get made. She played fine - despite being relentlessly hounded like Sophie was there.
