  2. What’s the plan when Brady inevitably becomes a HC?   Is that the question?

Its a fair one.  I think it’s important to know that we’re bringing in the best players to win football games now and post Brady, and not just guys that fit what Brady does.

If the short and long term plan post Brady is to be more balanced because this is Buffalo in January that’s fine by me.  To me that looked like the biggest change Daboll to Dorsey to Brady.

You can’t win in this league throwing 60 plus percent of the time especially in Buffalo.  You get one bad weather day and suddenly the Oline you neglected in the name of bringing in WR after WR will come back to bite you.

Joe Marino on his podcast yesterday was talking about our offense now vs the teams that made the final 4 and whether or not WR was that vital for those teams.  Certainly helped the 49ers that do a lot of things right on offense and defense.

The other 3 teams shared one thing in common.  Elite Olines.  You will not find a SB winning team with an average or below Oline.

You put an elite QB behind an elite Oline you are going places (currently the Chiefs).  That’s why my vote pre draft was lean into our strength which IMO for 2023 was Oline.  So I hope SVPG wins the C job and we keep McGovern at LG.

He pulled out from Afghanistan? That's news to me. I distinctly remember Biden doing that and leaving all of our weapons and Americans on the ground. Is this true?

Commies like Bill don’t want you to look into context.  That’s why they just ***t post and meme.

Any withdrawals and final withdrawals - conditions had to be met or we keep troops there in order to prevent what happened under Brandon from happening:

After taking office, Biden undertook a superficial review of our Afghanistan policy—one that totally ignored the advice of his top military advisor and his commanders on the ground. On April 14, 2021, he reversed the Trump administration’s conditions-based drawdown policy and announced that all U.S. forces would be withdrawn from Afghanistan by Sept. 11 of that year, whether or not the Taliban had met its commitments under the 2020 agreement.

Eight days after Biden’s announcement, the commander of U.S. Central Command, U.S. Marines Gen. Kenneth “Frank” McKenzie Jr., told the Senate Armed Services Committee that he was concerned about the “ability of the Afghan military to hold the ground that they’re on now without the support that they have been used to for many years.” He also acknowledged that counterterrorism strikes would be much harder without a U.S. presence.

In May 2021, USA Today reported that Afghan translators, who had worked alongside U.S. personnel for years, feared that the Taliban would take over and kill them once U.S. troops departed. They begged the Biden administration for help—and members of Congress, on both sides of the aisle, echoed their pleas to start evacuating U.S. citizens and partners. Meanwhile, the Taliban saw Biden’s unconditional withdrawal as an invitation to ramp up their offensive. Afghan government forces stood down because they saw no chance of winning without U.S. support.

Throughout this period, Biden refused to reexamine his policy. On July 8, 2021, even as the Taliban were on the march, he insisted that the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan was not yet inevitable. Meanwhile, his administration refused to expedite the evacuation of U.S. citizens and Afghan partners because it feared this would signal a lack of confidence in the Afghan government.

When the Taliban finally entered Kabul on Aug. 15, 2021, they took the Afghan capital without a fight. Even with many thousands of U.S. citizens and Afghan partners still in the country, the Biden administration stuck to its new, self-imposed Aug. 31 deadline for completing the withdrawal. The result was utter chaos: Thousands of U.S. service members were suddenly deployed to Kabul’s international airport to assist the evacuation effort and contend with masses of ordinary Afghans desperate to escape Taliban rule.

This is not your 1992 Democrat Party.

    By Silvio Canto, Jr.

Back in 1992, then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton had his Sister Souljah moment when he publicly confronted a black woman who made a racist remark. Clinton was right in challenging such a remark and benefitted politically because those were the days when the Democrats could say those things

    .

Could President Biden issue such a statement today calling out people who say "Death to America" or "We are Hamas"? Just read what The White House said:

“While every American has the right to peaceful protest, calls for violence and physical intimidation targeting Jewish students and the Jewish community are blatantly antisemitic, unconscionable and dangerous -- they have absolutely no place on any college campus or anywhere in the United States of America,” White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates said. “And echoing the rhetoric of terrorist organizations, especially in the wake of the worst massacre committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust, is despicable.

Okay, that's nice -- but where was President Biden? Where was the speech to the nation saying that those people do not belong in the Democrat Party or among his supporters? Or calling on the Hamas supporters that they are misguided and should not vote for him?

So far we have not heard that. It was a statement, but not directly from the President.

Why? Maybe it has something to do with Michigan, the place where 13% or 100,000 voted uncommitted as advised by Congressman Rashida Tlalib.

    .

Biden had zero issue insulting and threatening Americans over a vaccine that doesn’t work for a virus as lethal as the flu.

Biden isn’t saying anything because that would put more negative attention on the disgusting actions by the folks that make up a core group of the remaining Democrat voters.

    If his targets double - why wouldn’t they; from 45 in 2023 to say 90 minimum - he’s a 1300 yard WR.

If that happens and Kincaid continues his ascent, this is going to be a top 3 offense in the league.

Coleman and Kincaid will be red zone monsters.

I think you MIGHT be right with respect to the focus? But WAS it exclusive to QBs, or is that just how they got into it?

Yea he was talking about his kid but convo was about Caleb.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders hopes his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, is selected by a team located in a warm-weather city during the 2025 NFL Draft.

The topic came up as the Colorado coach was discussing USC quarterback Caleb Williams, whom the Chicago Bears are projected to select with the No. 1 pick of the 2024 draft.

Sanders said he had "a problem" with Williams, who spent the past two seasons in the Los Angeles area, adjusting to playing professionally in the Windy City.

"A kid that's coming from California for the last couple years, right? And went to Oklahoma. That's not terribly cold. Chicago's cold, man," Sanders told Russo. "You gotta think about that kind of stuff when you're taking a young man."

If you weren't going to double dip on WR on day 2, I love the approach this draft except for maybe should have gotten a CB

I've been wondering a lot about CB this weekend.

I want to believe it’s that they’re gaining confidence in Elam - who I saw today is the third youngest player on this new roster.

I like the pick.  There are concerns obviously.  And not totally unwarranted.  That is why you draft one more WR.  Why couldn't we spend our 4th on a WR and dumpster dive for a big RB instead the other way around?  If Beane had drafted another WR everyone on here would be giving this draft an A+.

The age of these WRs is so much more relevant then people think.

Pearsall turned 23.  In September of 2023.  He’s going to be 24.

Legette is going to be 24 in January.

In the last 5-10 years - Smith in Philly only one of note I can find at WR - drafted at 22 or older during their senior season - how many become a star in the NFL?

Someone please find me one other then Smith that I missed.  Happy to be wrong.

The rule of thumb with age is the younger the breakout season age - that’s a greater predictor of NFL success.

Coleman had 800 yards and 60 catches at 19 years old at Michigan State.

If Coleman played at FSU this year at age 21 you can bet he’d be a top 10 draft pick in 2025.

And obviously where they end up matters.

Yes. I would like any evidence because all you're doing here is proving me point. Your entire argument is , "well, it HAD to be something". Could have literally been anything. Maybe he and McDermott had a different favorite flavor of ice cream. You have nothing to substantiate your claim, just like thousands of other Bills fans, yet you've crafted a narrative for yourself that helps you make sense of it all.

There might be something to it. Maybe he kicked a pregnant lady and her pregnant dog, but you don't know. You'll probably never know. You just find it easier to blame a guy that isn't here anymore than the people still here who will almost certainly continue to underachieve without him.

    Make this make sense.

The evidence is everywhere that Diggs had become such a POS that they took the dead cap and traded him 1 month before the draft.

If last year’s Diggs show doesn’t happen - and he’s suddenly out of nowhere traded we can seriously question wtf we’re doing.

For all the talk about Diggs the leader, I’d think he’d find a way to make it work with Allen and Brady - you know since every other WR that has come thru has done so.

Or maybe they should all just request trades until McD and Beane are fired bc clearly your belief this should happen is effecting your ability to evaluate this objectively.

I have criticized McD and Beane many times and felt after the 6-6 start it might be time to find new leadership.

In the absence of our POS WR1 McD pulled off one of the best coaching stretches of his career to get this team a 4th straight division win.

I've never seen anyone exaggerate about a player more than Diggs. The guy never said a peep in public that degraded the Bills, and by all accounts he was BFFs with the QB.

There's absolutely ZERO evidence to suggest he was a cancer in the locker room.

He was traded.  We took on 26 million in dead cap.  He was a no show last June.  I defended him believing there were issues with Dorsey/offense.  We fired Dorsey.

    He was still traded.

The most Diggs ever dig was leave cryptic 1 lines on twitter that never made any sense or meant anything just to screw with people. Big deal.

Would you like more evidence he was a massive problem?

The team stunk last year until it phased out (he phased himself out) it’s WR1 getting 12 targets a game.

The “better” team on paper lost at home to Denver and should have lost to the Giants.

I was more worried about the leadership loss.

I blame McDermott and Beane for paying Diggs while playing for another team. I don’t care if he wanted to leave, he was under contract

I’m pretty sure that’s what they told him in June 2023.  Because it’s clear as day now that Diggs wanted out after the Cincy game.

Anyone still defending him now - I don’t understand it.  And I defended him in June 2023.  I thought if it was about Dorsey he had some merit.  It was understandable to be questioning the hiring of a first time OC.

But it wasn’t that.  We fired Dorsey mid season.  The offense looked like something was wrong.  I can’t possibly imagine what it was (Diggs).  But we still make a miraculous run to the playoffs despite injuries again on defense.  And he was checked out.  Helped get a guy fired.  Set a clubhouse on fire.  Because he always knew he would continue to demand for a trade and of course the team knew it.  Yet we still played our ***es off to get in.

And knowing we had to deal with this clown and still won thru it all, it does make McD’s performance as HC impressive - his team stood up for him and they didn’t quit on him when they could have especially knowing the Diva was checking out.  Looks like they didn’t agree with whatever Diggs beefs were.

If folks want to say this will be a wasted year - and believe me I understand - I’ll just argue last year with Diggs on this team was a wasted year.  Raise your hand if you think Beane should have traded him in March 2023 and if you’d have been good with that?

It was a no win situation for us.  We were paralyzed by his antics and whatever freaking falling out he clearly had with Josh.  Who I really want to stop referring to Diggs as his brother.  Just say he was great for us on the field for 2 regular seasons and the first 8 games of 2 other regular seasons.  Thank you for your service.

You have 2 starters there - they determined Davis (plus Sanders in 2021) - made it not necessary to draft one in the first 3 let alone 2 rounds.
