Suddenly Wothy is a #1?? They weren't taking Worthy and they weren't taking Pearsall. So to get a 3rd round pick (when you didn't have one) to select the same player you were going to select anyway (Ladd, Franklin, Frazier, Mitchell, etc.) is nothing but damn smart GMing
This. We weren’t taking Legette either.

Bills have a great history of trading in the 1st round with the Chiefs and Andy Reid knows absolutely nothing about offence so I definitely trust the bills on this one..
They drafted Sky Moore the year they lost Hill.
Rashee Rice seems like a quality human.

Worthy is the same size as Devonta Smith. I don’t want that guy, and that skill set, in Andy Reid’s offense. If you aren’t concerned about that, we see things differently.
He is nothing like Smith.

I also love Worthy’s elite drop rate - fits right in with KC

It was always AD or Franklin - that makes sense.
Completely disagree on Worthy- 1

Then why would they trade up if the Chiefs thought that?
I bet we had other offers someone else wanted him. Chiefs stepped it up? -
Finally tho - PICK 32!!! WE DID IT!!!

Just in case the fans forgot that we essentially traded Mahomes for Tre White, we now just gave them the fastest player in the draft. I just don't get it.
They were going to get him anyway.

So Brandon Beane, McDermott and Joe Brady know more offence than Andy Reid?
I don't trust that at all
165lb WR 1s all over the league ………

Not sure the issue.
We clearly didn’t want him the Chiefs were going to get him anyway.
We get a 3rd.

I think I might move back with someone in the 30's here. The WR's are dropping like rocks. Maybe the trade back with Washington makes sense.
Carolina apparently really wants Legette.

Tampa. Mike Evans is old.
I just would like to get as close to finding out who Beane had in RD 1 - there are 4 WRs I’m good with.

All clear to a WR now. Don’t see any golf these 4 going WR
-
4th place AFC South.

Well, we are definitely going to know which WR we had at the top of the board. I can only see Dallas going one here.

Another QB to the NFC.
Bout time.

Please Chicago just take Odunze. Top 3 WRs to the NFC.

I don’t think they even make the playoffs without Hill , I’ll go even further I don’t believe they win 8 games without him ,
Very true. -

What did Miami gave up for Hill ??
Amazingly, no playoff wins and 2 Super Bowl titles to the Chiefs.

Until recently, I had been in the "take who's there or even move back and increase chances of a hit by picking multiple receivers." However, I am starting to come around on the swing for the fences idea. Next year's first and second sounds like a lot, but here's what is making it an easier pill for me to swallow. If you think, as I do, that Minnesota is gonna stink this year, you can hang on to their second and give away ours. That means that if you factor in what we got for Diggs, we are only moving back a few spots. Also, because we have taken on Diggs' cap hit this year, it should free up some money to use to fill a hole or two next year (like signing a center or safety). I think we'd be okay giving up those high picks. Number 60 is tough though, particularly considering we got hosed by the NFL on what we thought was going to be a third round comp pick.
I’m saying it’s going to cost both seconds next year. They know our pick could be 55-64 range.
It’s going to cost 4-5 high picks to get to 9.
And we won’t see a first or second round pick again until 2026 barring trading in.

Yep. Bills don't have enough elite talent on this team.
A lot of good players, but not elite players outside of Josh.
If beane thinks Odunze or Nabers is gonna be a pro bowler for the next 5-8 years, go get him
It will cost next years first and both seconds. And probably pick 60 in this draft.
When you are retooling like we are I’m not sure you SHOULD do that.
But if you’re the Bears at 9 - do you do that?
Maybe. But I doubt it.
Bills Updated Draft Pick Spots

It would have been negligent to trade numerous assets to get one the WRs considering the roster reboot we’re doing.
Any objective outsider looking at our draft capital plus needs before tonight would have said “yea you guys got a tough hill to climb.”
Now we have 3 top 100 picks. 11 total.
We still have our first and 2 seconds next year.
After Thomas went I felt all options in trade backs were on the table and honestly, necessary. And we’re still in a position to get the WR we want. My guess is it’s Franklin or Mitchell.
