The economy is not going to recover from this 3 year disaster and 20 plus years of free money, overnight. Trump is going to reset this country - course correct its economy. And that will include short term “pain.” In the form of cuts to government. THEY ARE GOING TO BLAME DODGE AND TARIFFS. So they are going to run with in every single economic opinion piece disguised as hard news like this: “Economic report - probably framed as bad - followed up by - “as Trump, DODGE and tariffs continue to cause communist pearl clutching.”

They are now projecting a large contraction of -2.8%. Last week it was -1.5% and just 4 weeks ago it was +3.9%. Some of it has to do with imports/exports and tariffs, but consumer spending has also dropped significantly.

So my timeline is currently tracking. Trump isn’t making things worse - he’s going to speed up that recovery timeline. But by all means, pay attention daily to the stock market.
