  1. Wow - shocking It's not the way she moves, it's the way she breathes. (That might be optional, though)
  2. Yeah, it was "sports talk for smart people." Haha - not exactly what it is now!
  3. Thanks. I was thinking something sounded wrong with Westwood One, but I went with anyway!
  4. They were kicked out. What else do you want?
  5. Thanks. That all makes sense...........I remember Jay Mohr took over for Rome on Westwood One. Is he still doing that, because I thought I heard him subbing on Rome earlier this year.
  6. Has it been said how she died?
  7. So what is going on with Rome and how that affects Rich Genzler, Promo?
  8. I usually just tune in at the beginning to get their take on the game. I try to do that on the weekday show, too..............Because you know the rest of the hour, at least, will be just repeating the same thing over and over again - mixed in with some yelling at callers.
  9. Looking forward to hearing it!
  10. No, you are wrong. Haven't heard it, but we've already agreed that McCartney abomination is the worst!
  11. Is that what that guy said? I heard them going on and on about a script.
  12. Those two do a quick podcast every week. About 20 minutes. It's great and wish they'd extend it to an hour or so. Here's this past week's. I subscribe on itunes, but you can listen here: http://www.trendingbuffalo.com/commentary/podcast/bills-sabres-pacers-heat-saban-briles/ What's going to happen?...........BTW, the "Fan Four" with Rich, Brad, Jeff Russo and a BN writer is very good - on Tuesdays.
  13. Callers suck so bad............I listen to Tony Kornheiser every day. I'm a radio/podcast junkie, and I think he is by far the best........Not only does he have great guests, great sidekicks, and great emailers - all of them funny - but he takes zero callers! (And, will never interview an athlete, because their interviews are so boring)
  14. I swear I've heard Schopp get totally steamed at callers who actually agree with him. He either jumps down a callers throat (95% of the time) or surprises everybody and says what a great point the caller has.
  15. The communal experience trumps all that.
  16. I agree totally. This is off topic - but is he not getting as many tackles as he was the last few years? He really became a complete player a few years ago when his tackling became superb. Now I'm noticing it like I was then. Maybe he's not getting the opportunity in this D though?
  17. That version?!? That's the only version that matters! And, Santa Baby is a really good song. There's so many horrible ones I can't believe these two would be picked out.
  18. Whatever you think about the last part of the article, where he does seem to bash on Buffalo a little to me, you have to say this guy did a good job and answered a lot of questions we had. It never made sense to me and a lot of others here how the father of the Dolphins fan could be the one who found him - on the total opposite end of where he should have been looking. Now we know how and why. That same father got bashed here (I think I joined in) for "suing" the Bills. His explanation was great. He only was doing what had to be done at the time - filing some papers. And, now he's satisfied that nobody did anything wrong and he's not one to sue just out of anger, etc, and has withdrawn the papers. Kudos to him! What a stand up guy. Another thing that made no sense was the brother saying that the kid got thrown out for no reason and that he wasn't drunk at all...........Now it turns out he was drunk and he was in the woman's bathroom. As for the Canadian guy (I didn't even know about this), it seems ridiculous that the family insists that he didn't drink that much, when the guy who was with him the whole time says they both were. Why else would they leave at halftime and why would he walk right in front of car on Southwestern? The guy he was with doesn't seem to have much to gain by admitting they were both bombed. Not sure why he would lie.
  19. Haha - really!
  20. The crowds in the 80s were way worse than today. I remember a Monday night game vs. Miami in 1984, a Jets Monday night game in 1983 and a Patriots Sunday game in 1986 that was just fight after fight. An entire section got thrown out at that Patriots game. I was 12 years old at this game. Up until 1989, it was the greatest game I've seen............My friends and I couldn't believe that the guy behind us could sleep through such excitement!
  21. That game was actually against the Giants in 1975. A horrible game all the way around..........The Chiefs game was the first MNF game ever for the Bills - 1973. OJ went over 1000 yards in the 7th game of the year.
