  1. Authentic Buffalo pizza & wings definitely check out Luciano's - real B-lo cuisine in downtown Denver.....probably the best wings in the West
  2. Tom Golisano founded Paychex in Roch, which has become an industry leader in payroll processing - yeah, he's quite loaded and I do think he'll be the next owner of the Bills....many speculated that his acquisition of the Sabres was a test-run for the Bills I have no sources though the scenario that Corp000085 lays out about a local group already in place makes sense to me....I'd assume Goli would be involved but I'm sure Corp won't say....I wonder, would it be a bad thing for someone to own both the Sabres and the Bills? I suppose as long as they're both playing home games in Buffalo it'd be fine by me
  3. hey Brit, I'm curious - how hard do you believe Pakistan/Musharref are actually looking for OBL? it seems to me that it would be easier for the Pakistani military to capture OBL if he were in a large city as you speculate rather than in the rugged northern part of the country which is under less gov't control....
  4. thanks Brit, this is the kind of reply I was hoping for....and I was waiting for someone to call me on using an Indian publication as source your reasoning is exactly what I had in mind when 'October surprise' conspiracy theorists started tossing around a Bin Laden China pact months ago...then I started digging more China forced to expand role in Central Asia could China be in league with Bin Laden to 'avoid a confrontation with the wider Muslim world'?....would they now view AQ/OBL, like the Taliban is described here, 'as a reality that has to be moderated and contained' in order to stabilize her own western province? I also agree that it would seem China has much more to lose than gain by being in league with AQ/OBL/Taliban - but, then, oil is a very powerful motivator China's Drive For Oil Affects Militants
  5. just wondering if anyone has an opinion on the possibility of China harboring Bin Laden....I think it makes sense, OBL crossing into Pakistan from Tora Bora and heading north from there....certainly not unrealistic that a communist regime would try to play both sides of the terror game Refuge of Osama Bin Laden in China Afghan border China should hand over Osama bin Laden
  6. I hope your right and it is a hoax but the Balt Improv has cancelled his scheduled shows - which were sold out by the way....I'm sure that club can't afford so much lost revenue just to go along with a twisted April Fools joke when did anyone start taking MTV seriously?
  7. very talented, but this guy had serious demons....a couple years ago, dude developed gangrene from shooting heroin - damn near became an amputee....most thought that was his wake-up call and he'd cleaned up recently....RIP
  8. ComedyCentral.com if it's a gag, Comedy Central is apparently in on the joke....check out the top right corner Mitch Hedberg 1968-2005 word is a heroin overdose
  9. how about the millions of illegal aliens in this country who work under the table and then wire 3/4s of their paycheck to family out of the country? wouldn't a consumption tax benefit the economy immediately by getting tax dollars out of them?
  10. here's a short video clip, you'll need the Flash player plugin to view JP Losman video
  11. "On the cable network's Real Sports program last night, (Bernard) Goldberg did a two segment piece on former New York mobster Michael Franzese and his activities in the 70s and 80s in and around professional sports. ... Franzese and the Colombo crime family had attempted to corner the market on representing college players at the 1985 NFL Draft. Apparently, using an agent who normally represented singers, the mob coaxed a number of players -- including former Iowa Hawkeye and San Diego Charger Ronnie Harmon -- to sign with them before the end of the college season. The contracts would be post-dated, and then forwarded to the NFL once the college bowl games were completed on January 1st. As many as a dozen first round picks were locked up in this manner. And when other agents got in the way, Franzese sent one of his thugs to convince them to back off. In exchange, these potential draft picks were given tens of thousands of dollars -- $50,000 in Harmon's case. It gets worse. At the 1985 Rose Bowl, Iowa was heavily favored going into the game against UCLA. Harmon, who had only fumbled once during the regular season, fumbled four times and dropped a sure touchdown pass as UCLA rolled to a victory. While Franzese wouldn't say it on camera, he strongly suggested that Harmon had thrown the game for his friends in the mob." conspiracy theorist
  12. Packers LG Mike Wahle would be a great pickup....he even stepped in at LT and did a decent job there yesterday "Left guard Mike Wahle also figures to wind up on the open market because he's due an exorbitant bonus that the Packers aren't likely to pay." Wahle available
  13. in Marv's book he says Ronnie was glancing down to make sure his feet were in bounds as the ball arrived which led to the drop then again, there's always the Ronnie Harmon gambling conspiracy theory: "Hawk fans, remember the infamous Ronnie Harmon in the '86 Rose Bowl? Of course you do, like me you all wanted to kill him. I still have to exit the room fast when that subject comes up around my dad. He never fumbles his entire career, then suddenly, playing UCLA, he fumbles 4 or 5 times, each time coughing it up directly into the arms of a UCLA defender. HOW F'ING CONVENIENT!!!" conspiracy theory
  14. if you can make the drive up to Denver, Lodo's is the place to be Colorado Bills Backers

  18. yeah, you should see Coach Krumrie at training camp!! rather than watching the players play, I often caught myself watching Krumrie coach drills.....so glad Buffalo was able to hold on to that guy and would love to see him take over as DC eventually when Gray moves on
  19. any updates on CV's injury? it was his ankle, I believe - hope it's not the dreaded high-ankle sprain.....he wasn't putting much weight on it on the way off the field....the last thing Drew needs now is Pucillo pressed into action
