I just looked at it and came away thinking the same way. If we could have stopped the run and like you said hit on a couple of plays that we missed it would have been a competitive game

If New England plays on Sunday like they played in week 16 against us I think we can win this game. Remember no Gronk and now no FB as well to help them in the run game.

Edelman also has a chest contusion. While I think he will play, i think he will be limited and I doubt they send him in the slot to get jacked up and put out of the game.

  2. I HIGHLY doubt they have been sandbagging it just to save it all for this week. I do think as a few have suggested, that they have been saving a good amount of plays and formations out of the playbook though just so they can try and confuse Marcia. The D-Fense will need to be able to get to Marcia and knock him around a bit early in the game to get him rattled. Hopefully make him throw some early balls for INT's. They'll probably have a few exotic blitzes as well, but don't expect much in the way of blitzing as he tends to burn defenses that way. Praying for a big game in a 3 phases of the game this week.

Well considering nothing you said so far was truthful. By your account the Pats cheat and 31 other owners just turn a blind eye.

Wow! You really are stupid. The Patriots have been caught cheating. Their owner and coach fined and your qb suspended but yet nothing i said was truthful. Everything i said is based on facts not truth. As i stated before you as a Cheatriot fan you turn a blind eye (or def ear) to facts. You’re nothing more than a troll looking to work people up. Well sir, you have failed. I can’t / won’t get upset about stupidity. Instead i just feel sorry for you. So move along troll.

I think your tin foil hat needs adjusting.

Not in the least. It’s all been documented and discussed several times over the years. You as a Pats fan of course are def to the truth that your team; including your qb, your coach and your team owner are all low life cheating scum bags that put such a negative stigma on the NFL during it’s early scandals of cheating the NFL had to destroy the proof so that they could deny deny deny.

I agree on a close game.  I just don't see the Bills D confusing Brady , (it rarely happens) and he will torch blitzes all day.. especially if Edelman is going those two share a weird psychic link lol.   The Pats D hasnt faced anyone, but neither have the Bills.  (Jets with a MONO QB, Eli Giants, Cincy)

It should be a good low scoring game.. with hopefully no major injuries

Oh i definitely agree. The Bills really haven't faced a REALLY tough team yet. But yes it's hard to confuse Brady, and teams get burned when they blitz him, especially when he has their defensive coordinator in his ear giving him coverage reads. It usually only happens (him getting confused) when they have equipment issues. And before you go all crazy with denials that they don't cheat, it's already been admitted by a previous backup QB who went in for him and he picked up his helmet by mistake and heard their DC in his helmet after the connection is supposed to be cut off at the 15 second mark on the play clock.

Very true! but in the Pats D defense, they only have given up 3 points in 3 games and less than 200 yards a game... thats impressive no matter who your facing!

That's true, but lets face it, they played Miami. Miami at this point is a Pee Wee league team which skews the numbers. Buffalo's Defense is only allowing 16 points and 300 yards a game with an average of 88 yards rushing allowed. The Pats are only allowing 37 yards rushing on average but the teams they have played are horrible and always playing from a huge deficit so they can't really throw the ball all that much. Don't misunderstand me, I am not saying that this will be an easy game for the Bills. I'm just saying that this is really as much of a test for them as it is for us.

None of the teams they have played have been able to generate the pass rush our defensive front 4 has been able to do and I expect our defense to do a lot of disguised defensive formations along with a few well timed blitzes. I am expecting a hard fought game for both teams. I hope for a win but i know it will be tough. If we come out of the game with a loss but it's a close hard fought game and not a blow out, I think that it's really a win for showing the growth of this team. JA is still young, he's going to make mistakes and some of them may cost us a game or 2, i just hope that it's not this week that it happens.

Still too early in the. Season for blanket statements. That said, it is true that even if we lose next week, we will remain a top 6 team in the AFC. But I feel we have a decent shot at sitting on top of the AFC after week 4. Standout defense, clutch qb, electric rb, rookie gronk, things looking up.

Personally, I see Knox more as a Jermey Shockey minus the attitude than a Gronk.

I am not sure we will beat them this week. They are looking scary this season. And our new offensive players need some time to play together. We'll dethrone them in playoffs.

I'm not really sure the Pat's are really all that scary. Like what everyone is saying about the Bill, look who the Pats have beaten. Steelers, Miami, and the Jets. None of those teams are doing well on Offense or on Defense. There opponents so far are 0-9 and ours are 1-8. I think this week is going to be a test for BOTH teams, not just the Bills.

  8. Not sure what you are confused about. Pancho was a Bills fan, not a Jim Kelly fan. While I am sure he was a fan of Jim; Pancho's love was for the Bills as a team and as an organization. The organization went above and beyond for him; which was awesome. That said Jim Kelly is not the face of the Buffalo Bills (as much as many want to believe that he is) and he owed nothing to Pancho. He has his own life with his own issue that he was and is battling; all while running a Foundation, making appearances, and still made time to sit with JA and our coaching staff to give his insights on using the no-huddle. Leave the man be and stop riding his a$$ because YOU don't think he did or made enough of an effort.

Sorry? You think we were still running Greg Roman's offense three coordinators after he left?

    Yea. We weren't.

No, that's not what I am saying at all. I'm saying He (Greg Roman) is running the same offense he ran while he was here.

  10. I couldn't give a crap about where we are ranked by so called experts. Every so called expert say we would be finishing last in the division because the Jets and Fins were "So much better than us" and look where things are. That said, who ever put this ranking together is a moron. The ranked them by record and then by team strength, which is stupid. None of those teams are in the correct order as far as i'm concerned (not that I'm an expert either) but i never claimed to be unlike all those so called experts do.

  11. To me, it's not that he stole the play...it was his offense that we ran, he just took it all with him when he left. It actually speaks volumes negatively to Greg Roman if you ask me. He's doing nothing but recycle his playbook, which he probably got from someone else anyway. Now when I see him all i can see is coach Red Beaulieu played by Jerry Reed in the Waterboy.

Which NYC team will win first?  I'm betting it won't be before they're both 0-6. In fact, it's not out of the question that the Jets will be 0-8 and the Giants 0-9 when they meet in the Toilet Bowl in week 10

    Here are the schedules:

    JETS

    1. Bills - L

    2. Browns

    3. at Patriots

    4. Bye

    5. at Eagles

    6. Cowboys

    7. Patriots

    8. at Jags

    9. at Dolphins

    10. Giants

    GIANTS

    1. at Cowboys - L

    2. Bills - L

    3. at Bucs

    4. Redskins

    5. Vikings

    6. at Patriots

    7. Caridnals

    8. at Lions

    9. Cowboys

    10. at Jets

With Darnald out today, I think the Jets best change at getting their first W is probably with the Jags. If not them, they definitely will beat the Fish. I see the Fish going 0-16 this year. I think the Giants have a good shot at their first W with the Bucs and Skins, but it could go either way in those, tho I tend to agree that it will probably be when they play the Jets in week 10. If it goes that long for a W tho, I think their rookie will be starting in week 5 or 7.

It looked like he led with his shoulder to me.

Yeah it looked to me like he lead with his shoulder as well. The problem was Fowler's shoulder dipped to and they ended up with some helmet to helmet contact. Like several said, it wasn't intentional but contact is contact. The thing that gets me, is they will never be able to take away helmet to helmet contact. There will be times where you'll get incidental contact like that. That said, he will probably be fined in the 10K range.

As I've said 100 times, Allen will make errant throws every game. So long as he offsets a bad int in a game with 2 or 3 td passes, who gives a *****?

agreed! EVERY qb will make an errand throw here and there, and when they are younger they have the tendency to do it a bit more often. As he matures, he will settle down, the game will get slower and he will get better at reading the defense this tendency will will become nothing more than an infrequent laps in judgment while trying to make something out of nothing.

I think Shady and Singletary have a very similar style of play.  They are the flashy, speedy, illusive, pass catching running back.  Gore is the pounder.  The Bills have their own version of Thunder and Lightning with Gore and Singletary on the roster.   Keeping Shady would have been redundant and expensive.

The comparison between them is accurate yes, but Gore is not "Thunder" anymore. He's just old.If they want a "ground & pound" type they can go out and get someone much younger I am sure. He didn't look very good to me yesterday.

Have to remember that is also the point Singletary started getting touches.

i figured it was a bit of both.  why they refused to work the run game to start the game i have no idea.

Glad i'm not the only one to notice this. Dabol was pass happy in the first half. They should have fed the ball to Singletary more in the first half. And I am sorry, but it was a HUGE mistake getting rid of Shady over Gore.
