Watching Football this year is going to be like potty training my kids........It's going to be a giant mess, and it's going to stick to high heaven!

Per nfl.com Leinart cut. Thank God. He looked horrible!
-
I promise you, if Leinart goes out on Thursday night and lights up the grocery squad there will be people calling for his to start.
Buckle your seatbelts, the rollercoaster is almost at the top!
How does anyone expect his to light anything up except for a candle with 3 days of practice? He said it him self in his interview that he will only be running a limited number of plays based on what plays he knew well enough that he was comfortable running them in a game situation. If Manuel is not ready to go by week 2 or three, which I seriously doubt, then see what he's capable of in our offense. He's a smart guy but nobody picks up an entire offense in a weeks time.

If Leinart blows up for 200 yds and 2 tds no ints in the first half watch this board go apes**t.
Who can explain to me how this would be even possible. If you have read the interviews Leinhart has given, he will only have a very small list of plays that he will know well enough to be comfortable running. I would be willing to bet most if not all will be short pass plays and run plays. I will be happy just to see him stay on the field and not get hurt, and not throw a bunch of picks and incomplete passes.

Da'Rick Rogers - WR - Free Agent
(8/28/2013 12:32pm et)
Former Buffalo Bills WR Da'Rick Rogers cleared waivers Wednesday, Aug. 28, and is now an unrestricted free-agent. He can be signed to the practice squad any time after 6pm ET Saturday, Aug. 31, once the 53-man rosters are set.
So do the Bills sign him to the practice squad ?
ummmm, YES! His potential is to high even with his detractors, you can't afford to not sign him.

I could be wrong, but I was expecting almost a full half for Tuel, followed by equal time between Leinart then Thad.
This is probably closes to being accurate as anything else. IMO his lack of time with the 1's is going to be an issue so they will have to give him the half for time to get in sync with receivers at game speed. The second half gets an equal split of the quarters for Leinhart and Thad.

Overall, odds are David Carr will still be on the Giants 53-man roster.
Matt Leinart is still a legitimate pickup. He probably won't see the field at all, but he will be a great influence on Manuel and Tuel.
I get he wasn't the best pro QB, is a career nomad and is a "first round bust." But with Kolb likely done for the year, having a guy of his caliber on this team with two rookie QB's is essential.
Consider him a teacher/coach and a decent backup.
Overall, Leinart has been involved in a pro-style offense for almost half his life.
Go Bills!
Yes.....This. Well put KollegeStudent.

Very cool post. Now that i watched it tho...I feel seriously depressed. So many little moments that as I Bills fan, I have made myself forget over the years. Some times you just have to thank God for a short memory.

If you were the Patriots, how would your game plan be different if you faced Manuel as opposed to Tuel?
I ask this question in all serious-nous not to be rude, condescending, or sarcastic; and the question is....Are you kidding me? How do you plan for a team no matter how you look at it is starting a rookie QB, WR's with little or no experience except for stevie and a suspect O'line. If I am Belicheat I tell my guys to take Thursday and Friday off and show up Sunday around 2 or 3 PM and we should be good for a W. I really hope I am wrong and The Bills from PS games 1 and 2 show up, but given the last 48 hours, I just don't see that happening.
