  1. Joe isn't on trial, nor did he try and hide secret docs. Nor was he doing business with Saudis at gold course nor have dealings with Putin Thousands of people also were not wandering around Biden resorts with documents laying around
  2. https://www.axios.com/2023/06/08/ruling-boosts-dems-odds-house-takeover-2024 The Supreme Court's surprise ruling that Alabama Republicans violated Black voters' rights in drawing up congressional districts could change maps in several key states — and boost Democrats' odds of taking control of the U.S. House next year. Why it matters: It won't take much to upend Speaker Kevin McCarthy's (R-Calif) 10-seat majority. Thursday's ruling likely will add a blue seat in Alabama, and could add more in Louisiana, Georgia, South Carolina and Texas. That could go a long way toward offsetting potential GOP gains in North Carolina and Ohio. Driving the news: The high court ruled that the GOP's congressional map in Alabama — where the population is 27% Black — violated the Voting Rights Act by slicing up majority-Black areas so that only one of the state's seven districts (or 14%) had a majority of Black residents. Democrats could pick up one seat with a revised Alabama map — and other southern states with similar legal fights, including Louisiana and Georgia, also could be forced to draw new maps that net the party additional seats. "This could reverberate to LA, SC and/or GA, forcing creation of 2-4 new Black majority districts and netting Dems 2-4 seats," Cook Political Report's David Wasserman tweeted. The ruling also could help Democrats flip seats in Texas in 2024, said Marina Jenkins, executive director of the National Democratic Redistricting Commission.
  3. Security is expected to be ramped up surrounding the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. Courthouse in Miami, the gleaming tower where Trump will be making his initial appearance. Police in Miami have already disseminated another advisory noting potential rallies planned for Tuesday around the courthouse. In one bulletin issued after the indictment was unsealed last week, the Miami-Dade police flagged a social media post advertising a “Trump Document Hoax Rally” outside the courthouse Tuesday. A different police advisory noted a rally planned for Tuesday morning by the Miami courthouse, ostensibly organized by the Miami chapter of the Proud Boys group. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/06/12/trump-miami-documents-indictment-security/
  4. Now who was it that said it was genius move to invade? And the supporters of which former president are constantly crying about us helping Ukraine? Nice little Axis of Evil there
  5. No one is asking you to do any of that, just seems odd you melted down over the post
  6. If a democratic nation was being attacked by an authoritarian one? I would hope so. We did negotiate the peace between Israel and Egypt But you deflect, we can take the situation in Ukraine as it is and make a decision. You are for appeasement, I am not. You are aware that Putin attacked our voting system in 2016, right? So we are really aiding a country that is fighting a common enemy. I wonder, is it BECAUSE Putin attacked the Democratic Party specifically that you want him appeased? Reward him for trying to undermine our democracy is your motivation? This is fine, but you want to negotiate with a kidnapper while he holds Ukraine hostage. Your literal argument is to stop allowing Ukraine the ability to defend itself and that will be better. I consider that abhorrent, unacceptable. It's pro-Putin, like Trump
  7. So you are upset kids today don't listen to the Beatles and do the twist, or whatever People hated Elvis, too, they thought he wasn't decent
  8. And then when told to turn them in, he hid them, had people lie for him, and refused to turn in all the docs, right? Oh wait, that was Trump and not Biden
  9. So you want appeasement? You want us to stop helping a free nation defend itself, isn't that right?
  10. The past isn't relevant? You must be a Trump voter, right?
  11. It is. Trump had docs, was told to return them and tried hiding them. Clinton, Biden, Pence all followed protocol after either being told to or just doing it before being told There, now you know the difference between the cases. Forget yet?
  12. And the kicker is, he refused to return them, hid them and tried getting people to lie about them. Her lawyer deleted them, as is practice. People are allowed to delete personal data. The emails were not classified docs
  13. But Biden returned them, the FBI didn't have to go get them. And Biden's garage was much more secure than a hotel where thousands of people went through. I don't think a jury will convict Trump here though. Your argument will work well on a jury wanting to find a reason to let him go
  14. So he is getting treated fairly, the GOP just hasn't shown its hand yet.
  15. There will always be something to whine about. If the GOP thinks there are Biden crimes, the GOP has the House can can hold hearings. Where are the hearings?
  16. I'm sure they will all be asked that question. And if Trump is not the nominee he might throw his backing behind the person who promises to pardon him, and he will tell his supporters not to vote for someone who doesn't.
