  1. Probably broke, too. Trump hoping for some dark money being funnelled into his political campaign, but it might just not be there
  2. We announced prosecutions of the Nazi leaders before Japan had surrendered. The Japanese did not want the emperor prosecuted (or he didn't want to be) and therefore fought on. Did the announcement of prosecutions make dropping atomic bombs more likely? I've never seen scholarship on the issue but it is an interesting question and the United States was demanding unconditional surrender
  3. He basically begging Putin to help him. "I'll stop the war, I'll destroy our national security organizations, I'll get rid of NATO!" Help me Vlad, help me"
  4. Ha ha!!! I remember how he was going to win re-election if he was impeached, blah blah Will he run away to Russia?
  5. Ya, Putin sure hates it when people throw out his puppets
  6. And their planes attacking our drones. Knock them out of the sky!
  7. Pretend it's 1940 and Great Britain is being pressed by the Blitz and our Conservative isolationists were saying, "Mind our own business" Murrow remained in London after the outbreak of the Second World War and his eyewitness reports on the Blitz made him a national figure in the United States. On 10th September 1940 he reported: "We could see little men shovelling those fire bombs into the river. One burned for a few minutes like a beacon right in the middle of a bridge. Finally those white flames all went out. No one bothers about the white light, it's only when it turns yellow that a real fire has started. I must have seen well over a hundred fire bombs come down and only three small fires were started. The incendiaries aren't so bad if there is someone there to deal with them, but those oil bombs present more difficulties. As I watched those white fires flame up and die down, watched the yellow blazes grow dull and disappear, I thought, what a puny effort is this to burn a great city."
  8. My guess, more dead Russians, a Uk Counter-offensive that will cut off Crimea and more Russian bluster
  9. Russia’s monthly oil export revenue sank in February to $11.6 billion, a precipitous 42 percent drop from the same time last year, according to figures published by the International Energy Agency. The sharp fall came the same month as the European Union’s price cap on refined Russian oil products such as diesel and fuel oil took effect. In a speech to Russian lawmakers Wednesday, Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said he expected both gas and oil production to decline this year, the state-run Tass news agency reported. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/03/15/russia-ukraine-war-news/
  10. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), a probable presidential candidate, has decided that if you can’t beat the pro-Putin wing of the Republican Party, then join them. He declared that Russia’s brutal and unjustified war of aggression against a sovereign Ukraine is actually “a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia” and that protecting Ukraine is not a “vital” national interest of the United States. His implicit agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin that Ukraine has no right to territorial integrity contradicts the view of 140 United Nations member countries and gives oxygen to the Russian propaganda effort. (If Mexico invaded Texas, would it be a “territorial dispute”?) DeSantis’s betrayal of Ukraine (delivered in a statement read on Monday on pro-Putin propagandist Tucker Carlson’s show, no less) is an ominous indication of where DeSantis and the GOP base are heading on the defense of democracy and American foreign policy. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2023/03/15/desantis-ukraine-maga/ Doesn't have to of been any to have tried and help Trump. If a person breaks into your house but can't break open the safe, they are still criminals
  11. Even those defending their rights to be free, independent and safe???? Huh? You seriously think the Ukrainians are behaving in bad behavior defending themselves?
  12. He's a cry baby complaining about us helping a people defend themselves from a guy who helped Donald Trump win in 2016, that's where the crybabyism comes from.
  13. If you are going to smear people that believe in supporting those fighting for freedom, democracy and against tyranny and autocracy, you are doing a poor job. "Starting to think..." lol
  14. Diversity is the big boogie man to them
