  2. Automobiles for sure are way better now and last much longer
  3. They sound like Sons of Liberty. Are you a Torrie? Did they sh it in the legislative chamber? Did they threaten to kill people? You people are so arrogant.
  4. The elites want to be safe, but not the people. Let them eat bullets!
  5. That's what Putin is thinking, and he has that great track record, lol
  6. And die from gun violence, apparently.. I see that is acceptable to you. So can't wait til we seriously go hard after this problem. https://www.thirdway.org/report/the-two-decade-red-state-murder-problem Republicans would rather ignore data showing red states with lax gun laws have higher murder rates than blue states with stricter laws. (“Cumulatively, overall murder rates since 2000 were on average 23% higher in Trump-voting states,” a January report from the moderate Democratic think tank Third Way states. “For the past 21 years, the top 10 murder rate states have been dominated by reliably red states, namely Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Missouri. Even when we removed the county with the largest city in Trump-voting states … murder rates were still significantly higher in these red states.”) When states such as Connecticut passed strict gun laws, homicides went down. (One study found that “the law was associated with a 40% reduction in Connecticut’s firearm homicide rates during the first 10 years that the law was in place.”) If one really is pro-life, regulating or banning weapons of war that rip children’s bodies to shred might be a good place to start.
  7. Because the country is flooded with murder devices, duh!
  8. Where did you hear that? Anyway, we can agree that 18 year olds are not old enough to buy alcohol, right?
  9. Darn, another quarter million new jobs. The Biden economic machine rolls on!!
  10. That's not even close to being true. The pro-democracy revolutions of 1848 were violently put down with the backing of the church
  11. Take guns from people with a violent history, to start
  12. The Biden administration on Thursday proposed new regulations that would allow schools to bar transgender athletes from participating in competitive high school and college sports, but disallow blanket bans on the athletes that have been approved across the country. The proposal was met with mixed reaction from transgender rights activists, with some saying that it provided a welcome set of protections for trans students and others saying the regulations could offer a roadmap for those who want to discriminate.
  13. Historic racism is a huge reason for that, but that said, rural America has a gun violence problem too. Not only is rural America awash in guns but all those drugs they take don't mix very well with the guns MAGA is anti-American
  14. Children get slaughtered in their schools and the GOP answers that with an attack on free speech.
  15. The party of "life" is at it again. Let them eat cake! NASHVILLE — The Republican-led Tennessee House voted Thursday to expel a Democratic lawmaker who halted proceedings last week to join protesters demanding gun control. Lawmakers are set to consider the expulsions of two additional lawmakers in a historic act of retaliation. The chamber voted to expel Rep. Justin Jones (D) with 72 votes in favor and 25 votes against. During the more than two hours of debate, Republican members questioned Jones, who sported a white suit, as his fellow Democratic lawmakers asked for “grace” and urged the chamber not to use the “nuclear option.” “My prayer to you is that even if you expel me that you still act to address the crisis of mass shootings, because if I’m expelled from here, I’ll be back out there with the people every week demanding that you act,” Jones said before the vote. “If you expel me, I’ll continue to show up. Because this issue is too important.”
  16. What a couple of scum bags. ProPublica cited a nine-day trip that Thomas and his wife, Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, took to Indonesia in 2019, shortly after the court released its final opinions of the term. That trip, which included flights on Crow’s jet and island-hopping on a superyacht, would have cost the couple more than $500,000, if they had paid for it themselves, the publication said.
  17. Really? The heart of the pro-life, anti-gay movement was the Catholic Church, yet look at what they were doing? And forget the abuse for a second, these pro-life people were covering up horrible crimes. Real morality there! And don't worry, the rest of the religious estblishment will cover for them and then go out and demonize gays and women
