  5. So do we, why have more? Why do you want to raise taxes more?
  6. More taxes? Free trade is the way to go. What happens when other nations do the same? We will be poorer, have fewer options to buy, and of course things will cost more. What a stupid idea
  7. (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is expected to include Paul Manafort, the former campaign manager he pardoned, as a campaign adviser later this year, the Washington Post reported on Monday, citing four people familiar with the talks. The job discussions have largely centered around the 2024 Republican convention in Milwaukee in July and could include Manafort playing a role in fundraising for Trump's campaign, the report said. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-eyeing-paul-manafort-for-2024-campaign-role-washington-post-reports/ar-BB1k58lo
  8. Ya, Trump is trying to use violence again in our political process. And people like you cover for him
  9. Trump firing up the terrorists, again. He's already killed police officers with his crazy, violent talk, now he wants the whole country to burn if he doesn't get his way. The MAGA clowns want this petulant idiot to be our commander and chief?
  10. Those urban centers in Texas just keep growing. More blue voters every year. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/ar-BB1jRxXf Ripka is part of a booming trend that saw Dallas-Fort Worth lead all metro areas in population growth in 2023, according to newly released data from the U.S. Census Bureau. D-FW grew by the size of a large suburb last year, adding over 152,000 new residents. The one-year population growth is equivalent to adding a city the size of Mesquite to the region. It built on the expansion that saw D-FW surpass 8 million in population at the start of 2023. D-FW’s population now stands at 8.1 million, according to the estimates released Thursday that provide a first look at demographic changes across the country in 2023. The Houston metro area wasn’t far behind D-FW in attracting new residents. It added more than 139,000 people over the same period, raising the Bayou City’s population to 7.5 million.
  11. It would just all get stolen by the scum bags that flow to his campaign.
  12. Trump can't even manage his businesses right. Bankrupt again and again. His campaign ran out of money in 2020. He's a disaster
  13. https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/13/ukraine-war-live-updates-latest-news-on-russia-and-the-war-in-ukraine.html Oil prices rose around 2% Wednesday after production disruptions at several major oil refineries in Russia, following Ukrainian drone attacks. Two primary oil refining units were shut down in Rosneft’s biggest oil refinery in Ryazan on Wednesday after a fire caused by a drone attack, two sources familiar with the situation told Reuters. Rosneft has not commented on the incident. Meanwhile, operations at the Novoshakhtinsky oil products plant in the Rostov region were stopped after drones shot down by Russian air defenses fell on the facility, regional Governor Vasily Golubev said. Production was halted at another major refinery — Lukoil’s NORSI facility in the Nizhny Novgorod region —on Tuesday after a drone attack caused a fire.
  14. https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4526727-buck-retiring-next-week/ Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) will retire from Congress next week, he said Tuesday, a stunning announcement that will narrow the House GOP’s razor-thin majority even further. Buck — who has become known for breaking from his party on various issues and criticizing Republicans on election denialism — announced last year that he would depart the House at the end of his current term, but expedited that timeline Tuesday.
  15. I didn't say compared to today. The USAAF had a precision bombing doctrine that they very much put into effect. They attempted to nail specific targets in Germany using the Norden Bombsight. This was more dangerous than what the Brits were doing. I was at a Cold War history seminar at the Wilson Center in DC when the Conservative commentator said we would of used the A-bomb against Germany if it was ready. I argued against the point by pointing out our use of daylight, precision bombing. It was dangerous and risky and we took heavy losses, but kept doing it. They could of just started fire storms like the Brits did at Hamburg with the much safer night missions. We did fire bomb raids on the Japanese, and then nuked them
  16. There was precision bombing in WW2 practiced by the 8th Army Air Force. And of course they were not as accurate as todays weapons eighty odd years later
  17. Why would you say that? What are you talking about?
