Not good, but he'll get it together, I hope. We tend to forget these are just kids.

True, they are just kids. But I gotta say, I have a lot more confidence in the Bills FO than other teams FO that the Bills rookies and/or younger players aren't going to make the same type of bad decisions.  It aligns with the "high character" mantra that Beane and McDermott covet. The culture that has been instilled at OBD is way more than I ever expected it to be. To say that I am pleasantly surprised is probably an understatement...lol.

    On a different note

No fans at a majority of the games (all the home games, plus several of the road ones) will be a little weird though... fake noise / CGI fans or not.  But, I’ll probably get used to it.

VR cameras strategically placed around the stadium and being able to connect to your VR device would be kinda cool. Although I'm sure there would be a ton of logistics to work out. I don't know enough about VR tech to know if it's even possible. Just sounds cool.

From my perspective (fan perspective), I'd keep Duke over McKenzie, but its a real coin flip.  Whichever they pick, the choice will not affect this season in the slightest.  That being said,, for whatever reason, this staff seems to really love McKenzie. Almost 100% chance it ends up the way you predict.

My thoughts are that they'll keep Mckenzie due to his role as a gadget player. Duke is a big-bodied fairly sure-handed receiver. Gabe Davis is similar in build and By all accounts out of training camp, Davis is performing very well. He fills the role of the big receiver. Either way, it's going to be a fun season to watch. Go Bills!

@H2osorry about my post. Looks like I pretty much copied what you said. I didn't see your post until after I posted...lol... Mondays

  4. Just posted this in the thread by @Hellcamino regarding the Bills and the agreement with his wife. Seems to be a better fit in this thread tho.

I feel you on this one... 42 years old and been a fan since 1986. I have never stepped foot in the state of NY. My fandom started as my dad was a die-hard Steelers fan and I was talking trash during a Bills-Steelers game (just to poke the bear). Buffalo ended up winning the game, and since then, it has been all Bills all the way.

With that being the background of my fan hood, good luck to the Bills and the diehard faithful who have waited a long time for this day to come back around. While they made it in 2017, it doesn't have the same feeling as this year.

As I mentioned in my OP I don’t get see many Bills games so I had him at 6 due to lack of knowledge on him.. not like I put scrubs in front of him or anything. Lol

How do you have a top 10 NFL cornerback list but not have much knowledge of arguably the best cornerback or a really close 2nd in many people's (analysts, fans, and everyone in between) opinions? Kind of seems like a troll job to me.

The Bills went 0-3 against Baltimore and New England, but all three games were close and competitive and we had the opportunity to win or force OT in all three.  Houston is good, but they're not as good as either of those teams.  I expect Buffalo to win on Saturday, with the usual caveat that one or two big plays either way can swing a game like this.

Houston beat the Pats ***  in week 13, I believe. Imo, to say that they're not as good is underestimating the Texans. Houston has the ability to be dangerous on offense. They also have the ability to to stumble at times. The question is, is which version of their offense shows up.

1959, after we win Saturday, I’m going to toast everyone and just enjoy Henry pounding it down the Pats throat.  I hope they f%#&k are so embarrassed in such a humiliating loss.  Then one of you guys can copy and paste the Pats fan thread so we all can laugh hearing them cry.

...nice work.........6 fumbles over 5 years on 666 touches?.....thought we were talkin' Tiki Barber type fumbleitis.........

    Daniel Wolf-BR

"From 2000 to the 2003 season, Giants running back, Tiki Barber had similar problems with fumbles; he totaled 35 fumbles in those four seasons."

I agree with this. I am not sure where this narrative of ball security has generated from but it is very inaccurate. The guy fumbled one time earlier in the year and now all of sudden he's prone to fumbling?

While we're at it, I'm going to go ahead and fabricate my own stat and say that JA completion percentage is 74.3% over his career, fits my narrative that he will be a sure fire 1st ballot HOF and an elite QB...?

The question was for those of you who have to work weekends you geniuses ?

So what you're saying is if we don't work on Saturday, we're not qualified to comment in the thread? I wish all the threads operated on this premise, only those who are qualified may respond.

Also, does the kids at home argument qualify as work?

P.S. just having a little bit of fun with ya!!!

What if there was a really friendly, loving white woman that cared for him as a person? Rather close minded on his part.

At the end of the fox article, it states that there are about 20 teams still interested in him, including the teams in the playoff hunt. Only names the Patriots as being not interested in signing him. Would the Bills really try and bring this d-bag on board?

Kid's a beast. Special talent. Another key piece for our Championship run

Not to hijack the thread and maybe this belongs in the Bills / Ravens thread, but I couldn't help but notice that number 1 and number 4 in this list play for the Ravens. I sure hope McD and Frazier have some answers for this 2-headed monster.

Funny, I agree with the commentators.    Edmunds was a step late if the ball was thrown where it should have been and I'd expect Elliott to overpower Poyer if he's squared up to the EZ.   That was a good play with poor execution on Dak's part--and a big bullet dodged, IMO...

After watching the replay, I respectfully disagree with you. Had Zeke caught the pass, I don't think he would have the opportunity to square up and lower his shoulder. His momentum was already taking him to the sideline. Just how I'm seeing it. Either way, it was an awesome W for the Bills.

  14. Definitely a solid A+

I'll also go one step further and say AFC offensive player of the week again. It was a convincing team win that he was in command of, in Dallas' house, on primetime, on Thanksgiving. Big stage to play on and he absolutely delivered. I suppose it is possible that there can be a better performance this coming weekend of games, but I doubt there will be.
