  1. Terrific response. It DOES seem that way through the past few years, doesn't it? Mike
  2. Been there, done that. But since the Browns moved, it was out of my hands. Mike
  3. Let's see how many of the naysayers jump from the top row of the Ralph this Sunday. My prediction is that you won't be faced with that choice, as the Bills have played much better than the Dolphins this year. It's the Marine Mammals who have a much better shot at 0-16, not Buffalo. SQUISH THE FISH!! Mike
  4. I don't even think the Bills are the worst team in the AFC East. That honor obviously goes to the Dolphins. Yes, the Bills are playing terribly. Yes, they should have won at least two of those games. Yes, they will reverse the trend, but I think a repeat of 6-10 is more likely than 10-6 or even 8-8. I say MM lets it all hang out this weekend. He has nothing to lose. For the first prediction on the board this week: Bills 28, Dolphins 7 SQUISH THE FISH!!!! Mike
  5. Bring Mark some fried bologna, will ya, Jack? Mike
  6. Thanks Campy. If I ever make it up to Orchard Park for a game, that's probably where I will start. Mike
  7. And why don't we wish for world peace while we're at it? Rico, Favre is an icon in Green Bay. The Pack will never, ever get rid of him. Mike
  8. I guess it must be hard to describe... Mike
  9. is it the parking lot of a bar/watering hole near the Ralph, or the front and back lawn of some guy named Hammer? Or, is there another possibility I am neglecting? And if the answer is the latter, considering they apparently have port-a-potties and concerts and even a buffet or two there, it must be one big backyard. Mike
  10. And those are the ONLY two reasons to preach doom and gloom. I've been disappointed so many times, between my formerly beloved Browns and these Bills, that I'm pretty much immune to it. In other words, I don't particularly care for the doom and gloom bit, or care that you are doing it for self-preservation or sadistic glee. You get NO reaction from me. I prefer to be an optimist. That way, I can be pleasantly surprised. And if not...oh well, that's life. I've got plenty more to fall back on. Mike
  11. Huh? At first, I thought this was a serious salute to Mr. Wilson...until I read the part about lighting farts. Which is it? You're not John Kerry. You can't have it both ways. Mike
  12. Hey, at least he's tried. He's spent money...look at Lawyer Milloy. He feels the same way we all do. I honestly believe that Mr. Wilson wants one last chance at a Super Bowl ring before he goes to the Great Tailgate in the Sky, and that's why he has opened his checkbook. Sadly, money doesn't always produce results. Smart spending, a savvy front office and good coaching does. Mike
  13. I am reminded of another Winston Churchill quote when thinking of my fellow Bills fans: "Never give up. Never, never give up." Thanks to aussiew for supplying the first Churchill quote of the day. Mike
  14. Just heard some woman's suing him for child support, saying Ricky verbally agreed to paternity and support the kid. Ricky, what are you, high? Mike
  15. That's right, Tech beat the Huskers, 70-10. It's probably the biggest regular season win in Texas Tech history, even if Nebraska is a shadow of what it was ten years ago. I saw a bit of the game on TBS, going back and forth between that and FSU-Syracuse. What an offense Texas Tech has...I was really impressed. Any chance we could get their OC up here? When you had five (that's right, FIVE) of the top 12 receivers in America going in, you're obviously doing something right. It was the second time the Red Raiders put up 70 points this year. They came back from 21-0 down to beat TCU, 70-35. In that game, Texas Tech scored 70 points in 42 minutes. The Bills are going to be lucky to score 70 points in their next 6 games, at the rate they're going. Mike
  16. Remember what J-E-T-S really stands for: Just End The Season Mike
  17. Still only 10-3, Orange, in the third... You gotta score more than 10 to beat Florida State. GO ORANGE! Mike
  18. to Northwestern and now Wisconsin, breaking OSU's 18 game home winning streak. This team just doesn't look nearly as strong as even last year's squad. It's a young Ohio State team, especially on offense. But to lose by 11 at home to Wisconsin? I know that the Badgers are a better team this year (and they better be, to beat out Purdue), but the 24-13 final and the fight afterwards between about 50 players was just plain embarrassing. Mike
  19. This is what you get when you have artists start to take themselves a little too seriously... I'm sure Mr. Penn will wind up being lambasted on an episode of "South Park" in about six months. Mike
  20. This time, I think the Bills have enough to win, 14-10. Mike
  21. Well, I don't know how this got started, but I'm not Catholic, so I have nothing to say here. I'm Pentecostal, and my church has two female associate pastors. What would you have to say about that? Mike
  22. Two words when talking about Tim McGraw: FAITH HILL. 'nuff said. Mike
  23. (((PSYCH!!))) Anyone notice how red Ricky's eyes were? Mike
  24. I did see the tape of that. Mike
  25. Tomorrow (10/9),I believe it's at noon. You have to have a ticket to get in, even though it's free. The local affiliate may have some...or maybe not. Mike
