Yep. Something I find interesting is we have a Defensive Backs coach (John Butler), a safeties coach, and a nickel coach (Jim Salgado). But not a CB coach.

Sounds like we will end up needing a safeties coach. Which made me conjure up memories of Ed reed coaching in Buffalo under Rex that one year. Seems like it didn’t actually happen.

Funny about “if they can build a defense look out” - they had the #1 defense in the league last year and have been a top defense for years, will have their all pro corner back this year. They didn’t get it done in the biggest moment in the playoffs, and have some places they need to upgrade if they are going to ultimately win the SB, but the majority of that defense including the coaches is back so it’s less building and more enhancing and continued development
