I thought he might go after asst OL coach Ryan Wendell who he knows from NE. Maybe both? The Bills *might* be ok with it? Not sure what they think of him… -
He wants a ton of control and Shaka khan can’t handle it - he wants the GM fired so he can bring his guy Adrian Wilson from Arizona

Don’t discount that Martin may also share an agent with someone else the Bills want to do something with and this helps get Martin’s name out there. Their coaching staff also needs to be more diverse. Keeping frazier will help but look at the offensive side. Might only be the RB coach. -

Also could offer him the WR job if chad hall gets promoted. Would be lateral but why would he stay with the ravens who don’t throw it -

I don’t think any Ohio state fan thinks he has been successful. That is why we want him to stay. I think it depends on how one defines success, and that bar has gotten lower and lower at Michigan. He took a giant pay cut last year because he had not been close to what was expected when he was hired - 0-6 vs Ohio state, zero big ten titles. Terrible record vs ranked teams. Couldnt even beat sparty on the regular. He wanted to leave and go back to the nfl last year but the nfl didn’t want him. This year he finally got it done vs Ohio state, finally won the conference, finally made the playoffs. This is the year he can leave and feel like he accomplished something. But he has no formula for sustained success. His DC was there one year and went back to his brother in the nfl. His DL coach took a lateral move. And unfortunately recruiting is a huge part of the job and if you can’t compete there you can’t compete. My point about Hoke was that he was more competitive than Harbaugh vs Ohio state and a better recruiter. Overall w-L in college is fairly meaningless as it includes a lot of bad teams. It only matters what coaches consistently do against ranked opponents, rivals, conference titles, playoffs. Or at least it should at a place like Michigan.

I also think the Chiefs OL and DL looked worn down in the 2nd half. Their OL had been really good all year and all of a sudden allows 4 sacks with a 3 man rush and no Larry ogunjobi? The bengals OL is very bad all year and all of a sudden Chris Jones and Frank Clark can’t get to Burrow. I think they were on fumes or just didn’t want it enough. On a paper it’s a giant mismatch and looked that way in the 1st half.

And “ growth mindset” -
I didn’t think I could feel worse than I did this past week, but if the Bills had won that game in epic fashion for the right to host the AFCCG, gone out to a 21-3 lead at the half with the whole stadium thinking we are on our way to the SB… and then collapsing in front of the home crowd? Mostly due to the QB imploding? Infinitely worse feeling than losing in OT on the road in spite of a pretty flawless performance from the QB. At least they have their SB trophy from 3 years ago to fall back on. But they seem to not care about that anymore.
