  1. Did you watch Eli play yesterday ? I'll pass on Eli. Even JP's worst game didnt look that bad.

Okay, Eli sh-- the bed in his first career playoff game versus a VERY GOOD Panthers defense. It doesn't mean he sucks. He had...3700+ yards passing, 24 TD's & 17 INT's in his first full year as a starter.

Yeah...I wouldn't want him on the Bills instead of JP.

  2. That is a crock of BS ......... the reason Gray has not been fired yet ...... and the ONLY reason that he hasn't been fired, is that if for some ungodly reason he gets hired as a HC, the Bills do not have to pay him any remaining wages or severence package ..... however if he is fired, some sort of severence package is owed.

How dare you see through the Bills smoke screen.:lol:

  3. Interesting piece from Clayton that Mularkey while he did take play calling away from Clements, did in fact turn them back over.  WTF?????

Clement departure a surprise: The firing of Bills offensive coordinator Tom Clements is a surprise. Mularkey took the play-calling ability away from Clements and started calling the plays himself in the middle of the season. Mularkey never said anything publicly, but Clements was upset about the move. Clements ended up calling plays in the final months of the season but his relationship with the head coach wasn't the same. Over the next week, there could be as many as four changes on the coaching staff, some that will affect the defense.

I actually have been wondering about this. I noticed TC with the play calling chart in sideline shots several times over the last few games.

    Very interesting.

  4. There was a column yesterday by Donn Esmonde of the Buffalo News on the Buffalo Sabres resurgance. In it, he stated that the Sabres were the first professional team to institute variable ticket pricing where ticket prices vary from game to game based on the quality of the opponent and day of the week. I was surprised by this statement(that no one else has done this) and was wondering if anyone knows of other pro sports teams that have gone down this route.

    Thanks.

  5. Anyone know what the rule is for the extra minicamp in the offseason?  Is it only awarded if you change head coaches?  I'm thinking this team will have enough coaching changes to justify the additional minicamp.

The actual rule is if the owner comes out at a press conference and announces the future of his HC is up in the air and then 2 hours later announces that the HC is 'da man, you are entitled to an unlimited number of mini-camps. :D

  6. Marcus Vick is a good kid.  Outside of the lying, the speeding and the on-field body stomping the only thing he ever really did that was bad was give some underage girls some beer -- what's wrong with this?  Its not like he gave them a false name and then slipped them some herpes?

I see no problem here. Time to move on. :D:P

  7. Looks like a draft I would be VERY happy with!

    'Brick

    CB

    DT

    DT

I guess this drafting system assumes we lose Clements.

Considering that the last DT's we drafted in the 3rd round(Edwards and Anderson) turned out to be mediocre at best, we better look higher in the draft for a DT or find a DT starter in F/A or via trade.

  8. Rank Player Team Avg

That's funny. I don't see him in this list...

Maybe it's because he didn't have the minimum number of returns to qualify. :w00t:

  9. I know it's early, but....

If ML & MM decide that JP may not be the man and want to have a QB competition in the off-season, please tell me that JP's competition will be someone other than Holcomb?

PS If they decide that JP is not starter material come the fall(his 3rd year), it's probably time to move on in terms of JP's future as a Bill.
