This was a perfect situation for a Clippers sale, they are by far the best team in LA and the Lakers are looking like a hot mess, new NBA deal is coming and is rumored to be Olympic/World Cup size financially, they have two young superstars locked up and the cap is rising which will allow for them to add a third star. It's always awkward when someone thanks me for my service on Memorial Day, I don't want to seem ungrateful of their gratitude but at the same time today is for the those who never made it back. If the situation allows it I will correct them but if it will only make it weirder I just say thank you. I am grateful that I am a Veteran today, I have been given opportunities and benefits that the preceding generations could only dream of, hopefully the VA can step up and take care of those in need but other than that I can not complain. I am fortunate to only need minimal assistance from the VA so I am not impacted but I know of some guys with serious needs who are struggling. The most in need are the ones affected most. I was bummed about Byrd but the FO has shown that they have a pretty clear vision for how to build a winner. They could be wrong but at least they have a plan unlike the regimes before them.
