  1. Which is why I think the Bills will be taking best available at #11 and trading up to get a guy they covet...probably a WR or TE.
  2. Michael takes a sip of his red wine. Michael: Mmmm. It has a nice oak afterbirth.
  3. I heard Sedrick Ellis' invitation was retracted because of how poorly he did on the Krumrie test.
  4. Who compares Guinness to a porter? Have you ever had a Guinness?
  5. I think the draft is fairly weak at Center, but it would be nice to begin grooming our next Kent Hull.
  6. This thread already has a good chance to be a classic.
  7. If it's as simple as being 50-50 then why do the teams bother to put so much effort in scouting? Because they take precautionary steps to minimize their risk. If you're choosing a track star who is extremely raw, isn't physical, can't tackle, hasn't played against top notch talent and has only one kidney....that's not exactly minimizing risk. If we were a team that could afford (talent-wise...not monetarily) to take a chance on a guy like this, then even I can admit that it would be fun to have the guy on the team. But we aint.
  8. With regards to DRC, I can't see using a high draft pick on a guy who has so much potential to be a bust.
  9. That's what she said.
  10. The original post said Monday/Tuesday of next week. Looking forward to it. It will be over on the College Football board. There was confusion about this last year, so no excuses everybody.
  11. His 40 time didn't scare me too much, because that's likely to improve as his injury heals ......and, well, I'm going to get shot for this but <whisper>40 times don't necessarily translate to great NFL players.</whisper> Shhhhh. His post run meltdown, however, scares me away for good. He can drop to the 7th round for all I care.
  12. This is good, but I'm eagerly awaiting your 17th mock draft.
  13. ...or you could use any ordinary spoon.
  14. How much you want to bet that the only "big misunderstanding" is how small her long-time boyfriend's paychecks were going to be if he wasn't drafted (or drafted way low)?
  15. I guess that you don't mind that you had a CPU controlled RB carry the ball 12 times today....or that you had a CPU controlled OT in the game on 32 plays?
  16. Did that writer just imply that the Vikings missed their picks (2 years in a row)....on purpose as a shrewd business decision?
  17. This post reeks of patchouli.
  18. We could tell the Pats* that the Pro Bowl is being played mid-season and in Buffalo. Half the team wouldn't show up.
  19. We also shouldn't overlook the addition of Mitchell, who was a very effective blitzer in his first year at ROLB last year....especially against Brady. Additionally, from the limited time we've had to see him, it also appears that Poz has very good timing and instincts to get to the QB. I remember one particular delayed blitz during the pre-season that was a thing of beauty. Absolutely textbook.
  20. I don't like the idea of investing too heavily in a new DE at this point when we don't yet know what our existing DEs can do with improved play in the middle. This includes contribution from a guy (Stroud) who will likely be double-teamed and take a lot of the focus off the edge. If we still suck in the middle after these changes, then we can get our hot shot DE next year. It's not like we've got Tweedledum and Tweedledee out there...these DEs are more than capable.
