I think the Raiders will want to trade out of the #4 spot and that might be a good place for Baltimore to slide in...assuming Atlanta doesn't snap Ryan up first.

Trading draft picks to move up and get better value really confuses me. But, doing all this to draft a player at a position we've just become somewhat deep at completely baffles me. Sure it downplays our needs, but it seems like the complete opposite of value. In fact, I'd say that there is virtually no such thing as a value pick within the first 10 selections.

Serious question. Has Greer ever played nickel back? I only remember him playing the 1 or 2 CB as a backup or starter...even before this year. I'm probably wrong about this, but I just can't recall...

If Ryan somehow manages to last beyond Atlanta (very possible), KC (less possible) and Baltimore (almost impossible), then he will probably be taken by Carolina at #13. I know that Buffalo's top brass preaches value, but I don't think they're so dedicated to value that they would throw a high-ticket QB into the carousel.

Based on what I've read about the guy, I'd have a big problem with this. I'll admit that I've never seen him play though.

I heard McNair got injured on his way to the podium today. Thankfully, they gave him some cortisone and was able to finish the farewell speech. In all seriousness, here's to one hell of a tough QB.

We will have a QB battle going into camp between two guys who combined to have the the second lowest passing stats in the league...but other than that you're right....offense is now fixed.

Very true, but their last 1st rd CB was Sheppard...and we know how well that situation is going.

I'm feeling a bit omniscient today so I'll add some... - Baltimore will trade with Oakland to grab the #4 spot and take Matt Ryan. Oakland has thrown enough money around and won't want to pay the premium that comes with a top 5 pick. Oakland will take Clady with their newly acquired #8 pick. - KC will draft McFadden. I know, I know...LJ and his huge contract. But I feel strongly about this. - DRC will fall (key word being "fall") into the Eagles' hands @ #19.

Oh... no statistical trend. Just a hunch based on watching him play. He doesn't seem nearly as confident on the field as he used to. Off the field he runs his mouth, but I think that's partly to cover up the fact that he knows he's in decline. I just don't think he's the same guy anymore. Not a bad WR by any means, but will probably not be worth anywhere near the price someone will pay for him. I realize I'm out on a limb here, but I'm okay with that.

Beyond the obvious personality issue....I think his best years are behind him.

Parking near the back of the lot is the way to go! I zip in, park immediately, and get entertainment walking into and out of the store watching all the lazy people get angry fighting for their spots and dodging people coming out of the store with their carts. After the show, I get to my car with a smile on my face and zip out with minimal obstacles. The penalty for all this fun? I have to walk 50 yards. How awful.

Send them to the kids in Africa ....to go along with the Patriots* Super Bowl t-shirts. Both are sure to disappoint.
