I saw the same. He seemed to be doing it effectively, but it sure was a drastic departure from the hell bent pass rushing show full of hand fighting and swim moves that he was putting on during the pre-season.

Ugh. Just don't get it. He was already signed to a long term contract. The only thing I can imagine is that they've resigned themselves to the fact that they can't easily fix the o-line so they have no use for a guy who's specialty is running deep routes. This still sucks though.
Well the good news is that this opens plenty of cap room to sign the next Marcus Easley, Shawn Nelson, Reggie Corner, Derek Fine, Dwayne Wright, Ko Simpson or Duke Preston that we draft in the 4th rd next year.

Sort of true, but remember that this isn't the front office that took Tebow. He's not their mistake if he isn't an instant star.
From your link...
Not exactly the average QB that everyone keeps saying he is.
I don't understand the point. Tebow not starting has more to do with the Broncos' inability to rape the Dolphins than it has to do with the Broncos distrust of Tebow at the helm. If you've still got Orton, of course he's your starter right now.
Michael Huff, the safety drafted one pick ahead of Whitner, just signed a 4yr/$32 mil contract with the Raiders. I'm willing to bet that's about what Donte thinks he's worth right now, but I'd be stunned if he got that from Buffalo.
I think his days as a Bill are over.
