I've never been to Paris. Supposed to be going this summer - Notre Dame was at the top of my list.
I was there two years ago and visited Notre Dame. Ugh this is sickening.

I remember, I remember Buffalo
And I remember Hengelo
It would seem to me I remember
Every single !@#$ing thing I know.

My reaction would be, why didn't they wait until ten days before the election in 2020 to release this?
Uh huh. But you need to keep your timeline straight while twisting yourself in knots. You meant 4 months before the 2020 election, right?

I believe the facts that made people wonder, and still do. He lied, his people lied, he believed Putin and not our intelligence agencies and he took very suspicious actions.
Also, the report has not been released, so who knows what's in it
When the report comes out, imagine if there were language in it like this:
Although there is evidence of potential collusion with Russian officials by candidate Trump and his staff, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before bringing charges. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent. Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person’s actions, and how similar situations have been handled in the past.
What would your reaction be?

The team this year is nowhere close to the team we had in 1999, even if it's true that team was largely carried by Dom to the Finals.
Not sure people understand how bad this team is. They are tank level bad.
We are nothing close to a "bubble playoff" team this year.
They've played tank level bad for the past 50 games yes, but this roster isnt even close to the tank years in terms of talent. Those tank teams were purposely constructed to lose.
In other words, the two tank teams hit their ceilings in terms of the points they ended up with. The last two seasons are teams that should be approaching playoff bubble team status, yet are severely underperforming.

Clearly lacking talent, please. That’s all we ever hear. So Carolina and Ottawa have more.
Name the players who shouldn’t be on the current roster.
how did lindy get the 99 team to the finals. He had Dom, Peca and who else.
they worked their ass off.
Lol...yeah that team only had the best goalie to ever play the game on it in the middle of the dead puck era..how ever did Lindy do it?
If you put Hasek on this team then they begin to resemble what the 99 team was...a bubble playoff team that should it sneak into the playoffs can make a whole lot of noise with the greatest of all time between the pipes.

Ralph Peters should stick to writing Civil War historical fiction. He's very good at that.

The two are one in the same.
Now comes a heavily redacted justice department report and the right will lap up what the government spoon feeds them...
...Go figure the hypocrisy
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Trump has already said that he wants the whole thing released to the public?
I'm no fan of Trump, but the tea leaves on this whole sordid tale do not look to be aligning in your favor.

Huh??
Obama has been out of office for over 2 years. Did you mean Trump. Trump is the President?
Then you should have asked if the current POTUS wanted transparency, not the most corrupt POTUS in modern times.

Has the report been released? Being a BFLo fan... You should know better than to crow before the show is over.
The only report that matters is transparency... Being able to see the real deal.
The most corrupt POTUS in modern times would surely want that, right?
No, I dont think Obama wants any transparency whatsoever as it relates to this whole friggin mess.

What if you have an ancestor who was an abolitionist who fought and died for the Union in the Civil War?

Glad we're out. AB did us a favor by being honest and nixing the deal, you cant have players who have even the slightest hesitation about committing to the team. At the same time I completely understand coming to Buffalo being a hard sell at this point, it comes with the territory when you're an irrelevant franchise for two decades. Stop being irrelevant and they will come.

I love that Jerome Corsi is still the star of the thread title.
Is there a way to recover all the thread title changes over time? It would he fun to rehash all the "bombshells" that clearly signaled..... we got him this time!

As a teenager I remember being pissed when he jilted the Bills for the USFL, and then getting depressed reading about him tearing up that league every week, especially while Marino was doing the same in the NFL. Meanwhile we suffered with the likes of Joe Defek, Vince Ferragamo and Bruce Mathison. It was brutal football mired at a level we've never even approached during our current two decade run of relative mediocrity/irrelevance.
Still, an even more vivid memory was when he signed with the Bills and all the local stations covered his plane landing at the airport and the fans lining the 33 and thruway overpasses cheering with hastily made signs. I was also lucky enough to score tickets to his first game as a Bill. Rich stadium was rocking when he came running out of the tunnel. Good times.

Who says rock is dead? The best band you've likely never heard of, Big Wreck, dropped the first single from their new album yesterday....and no that's not Chris Cornell raised from the dead on vocals.
This is how you give a nod to the mighty Zeppelin without completely ripping them off. Greta Van Fleet I'm looking at you...

The typical warning for adverse reactions to flu vaccine has historically been for those with egg allergies as the common practice used to be propagating the virus strains selected for the seasonal vaccine in chicken eggs. I know there was a push in recent years to move to a mammalian cell line to grow the virus, but I'm not certain if all manufacturers have moved in that direction or not. There are also excipients and adjuvants (the adjuvants are in there to enhance the immune response) that a small number of people might have trouble with.
There's risk of adverse reactions when we put anything into our bodies, including the off the shelf supplements that people in general have no problem popping after some internet snake oil salesman wearing a white coat tells them all about the wonderful effects that will result.
It's all about risk benefit analysis and IMO the potential benefits far outweigh the minuscule risk for the vast majority of people when it comes to the flu vaccine. As Tom said above, an adverse reaction to the shot is a walk in the park compared to a bad case of influenza.
