The officiating in the NFL is awful. The Bills got out coached tonight. Both can be true simultaneously. The Bills had a game tonight where they obviously needed to be better than the opponent and in all likelihood the officials as well. They failed. On both. They lost more due to being outcoached but the officiating didn't help either.

Milano gets called for a face mask. Right call but at sideline and often missed. Rousseau ends up with his helmet on the ground front and center a few plays later and nada. This is the the WWF NFL. In a game with two evenly matched teams these calls and missed calls are CRUCIAL. Especially when you're getting outcoached simultaneously

Listen. The officiating in the NFL is AWFUL. Did it impact both teams tonight? Yes. But the Bills were massively outcoached while also having worse calls AND non calls against them. Again this is something that is par for the course in the 2025 NFL. Be better than the other team AND the officials. The Bills were better than NEITHER the Chiefs or the officials. Thus they lost.

You need to play a flawless game if you expect the officials to have an impact. Flawless game? No. Refs making questionable calls? Yes Recipe for expected L.
