  1. Yeah. Okay. Thanks for contributing. I'll leave you be. Good luck finding Che.
  2. It's hard to tell. Once they get unhinged, it's difficult to tell them apart.
  3. I really wish you guys would stick to a single username. How difficult is that?
  4. So basically you're looking for the next Che Guevara. Got it.
  5. So your problem is that Biden is not more closely tied to BLM and Antifa? He's not far enough left for you? Even though he has policies being written by Bernie and AOC? Just out of curiosity, who WOULD you vote for?
  6. This is why leftists lose. In the absence of independent thinking and open dialogue, the only thing you've got is pre-teen insults and an embarrassing grasp of basic grammar.
  7. I have no problem with that at all, though it did provide an amazing Whitney Houston moment most Americans consider one of the best anthems ever. The reality is that until recently, there was only a small number of people who genuinely and openly didn't love their country. They may have hated political parties, or different presidential campaigns, but most people always loved their country. That is no longer the case. The DNC has outed themselves by tightly being tied with people (BLM, Antifa) who hate this country the way it is, and want to destroy its structure and bring Marxism to the forefront while purposefully planning to do away with the nuclear family. As long as the DNC swaps money with BLM and Antifa -- which they do -- this is not a debatable fact. This is why Biden is suddenly anti-police and has admitted he is in favor of defunding police. So this election is really coming down to two things: do you love your country and your police or do you hate them? Love them? Vote Trump. Hate them? Vote Biden. That's why you see one side harassing average, everyday people trying to have a nice dinner by yelling and screaming before setting things on fire, and one side is running around on the streets and in their boats with American flags, cheering on police whenever they see them, and singing "God Bless America." It's not complicated.
  8. Here is why The Atlantic story is not actual journalism: an actual journalist, after interviewing the four anonymous sources, would have sought out other people who were there. They would have gone to the WH for comment, and the WH would have produced all the people were there and denying this happened. The Atlantic had no interest in truth. Just the headlines they managed to garner last week. Unfortunately for leftists, they need a win so desperately that facts are not something that should get in the way of a juicy lie. You have to wonder how many times the public will accept these repeated 'anonymous' stories that always turn up false. I'm thinking their patience is running thin.
  9. I know you're just bustin' chops, but a lot of people need CA to open up. We have a few really nice projects that are not only on hold, but also being cut back dramatically because companies are bleeding out and cutting previous jobs that were on the books to help their margins. As you know, that trickles down to the companies who were building those facilities and filling them with technology. It's genuinely maddening to me that CA Covid numbers are ridiculously low, and Newsom doesn't care. He needs the state to schitt the bed until after the election.
  10. Same here. I grew up in a very small town in the Catskills and was sure my future belonged in the bigger cities. Was totally wrong, and didn't realize it until most of my career was behind me. At least I figured it out before I died, and was able to do something about it.
  11. There are a lot of things I love about where we live, but in the end the answer is "space." CA population is 40 million. We got very tired of people. So many people everywhere -- highways, restaurants, in house upon house upon house upon house, buying gas, buying groceries, at the DMV, picking up kids for school -- people in your face everywhere at virtually all hours. That many people on top of each other just breeds anxiety and tension, and in general, social courtesy went away. Where I lived in OC there was a tremendous influx of Asians buying up everything, and they absolutely have no interest in socializing, so it just became a maze of people doing things without much interaction -- masks on, heads down -- but also without much patience. Now I live on a beautiful 5 acres, closely surrounded by mountains for skiing and lakes for boating/fishing, and everyone around is on 5 acres, and I damn near live in Mayberry at this point. I exaggerate a bit, but more to the point, here's the telling difference; when the pandemic hit, the first thing everyone around us did was not run out and load up on stuff, but call each other to see what we all needed and could help with. Everyone here is patient and kind and generous to each other, everywhere you go. Caveat: the above is my experience with CA. Many people have different experiences there and it's not to take away from that.
  12. Agreed. Notice that I wrote that we don't need these people to feed us the stuff they have the right to express. I never said they shouldn't. They are welcome to do so, as we are welcome to respond accordingly. My hope is they realize that most Americans simply don't want to hear it/see it during the games. The good news where the NFL is concerned is that the social justice stuff doesn't happen during the game other than a helmet sticker I can barely see. So DVR wipes out the stupid schitt for me. The field isn't covered in BLM Marxist/destroy the nuclear family crap like the NBA. The smart play, honestly, are the custom shoes NFL players get to wear to support their personal cause. Let that continue to be the way the players can individually promote their causes, instead of forcing us with the singular issue of the day that is not near as popular as the media would have you believe.
  13. Again, you can't 'confirm' anonymous sources with anonymous sources. It simply has never worked that way in the world of professional journalism for years. If the standard we have to determine stories are true is simply four anonymous sources, with confirmation coming from another journalist talking to another anonymous source, we are all screwed in a very, very bad way. Anything is then possible to be raised or destroyed in the press.
  14. He was there when he DIDN'T say it, yes. In fact, he specifically calls out that moment in his book because of the weather diversion, and confirmed yesterday that if anything like that was said at the time, he'd have written an entire chapter on it.
  15. No matter how hard some of us try, it seems no one cares that we turn to pastimes like sports and entertainment to ESCAPE politics and the increased amount of divisiveness it intentionally creates. We don't want or need to be lectured by LeBron James, Taylor Swift, Colin Kaepernick or Jim Gaffigan. We don't need to be educated by a Drew Brees helmet sticker. We just want to enjoy the effin' game or concert. My only hope is that the huge BLM push by MLB and NBA continues to destroy the fanbase so they'll all STFU and get back to doing what we asked them to do: perform for a few hours so as to distract us from the daily grind.
  16. Right wing circle jerk! Everyone drink! Except you. Anyone who thinks Trump has meaningful posts has already had too much to drink. He makes BillsTime appear coherent.
  17. A reporter uses an anonymous source to confirm a story from anonymous sources, and you're just stupid enough to accept that because it tells you what you want to hear? Really? No one will ever accuse you of being an original thinker, this much we know to be true. They only like Bolton when he tells them what they want to hear. When he completely blows up this story, suddenly he's not reliable to the left. Stupid should hurt.
  18. Dear BLM, We can't get elected by running fake Trump military stories if you're going to keep pushing us to Page 2. Please sit tight until after the election, and then you can do what you want. Sincerely, Harris-Biden 2020
  19. Dear Offseason, Please die. Sincerely, Everyone.
  20. Lost on otherwise reasonable libs. I said a while ago, John Bolton is Cindy Sheehan with a moustache. Once the left was done with him, that was it.
  21. Fox News reporter gets anonymous person to confirm other anonymous people who refuse to be named because of twitter bullies. But suddenly no one on the left wants to listen to John Bolton, who was there and said none of it happened? Talk about someone being a sucker. But hey...you really got Trump now. The walls are closing in! His final days are here!
  22. So does this mean the left doesn't believe John Bolton anymore? So weird. He was your bestie just a few weeks ago!
  23. Maybe you're misunderstanding the website. Maybe it's a website that supports Trump in a Wayne's World/Bill & Ted manner of speaking. No way, Trump! Way! As if! Excellent! I mean...could be.
  24. I appreciate the OP's efforts here. There has certainly been an influx of posters here who seem committed to flooding the board with nonsense. This become especially tiresome and frustrating because there are a number of people here who genuinely bring knowledge and information to the table, but the nonsense folks seek to do two things (1) disrupt that conversation with ridiculous memes, etc, or (2) interject an alternate opinion for which they are simply unwilling or intellectually unable to support. Few things are as irritating as someone who makes a ridiculous claim to blow up a thread, only to respond with "It's not up to me to prove my point. It's up to you to prove me wrong." This is usually followed by countless people busting that poster's balls. And voila...thread sidetracked. This kind of childish posting is embarrassing and frustrating, so I turn to ignore and have found it to be great way to filter the nonsense. Other than that, I'll do my best to keep from mocking those posters. No promises. But I'll try.
