  1. No report on his injury. Dad is in the locker room and he's probably there to advise whether he should get shot up and try to play.
  2. Horns Offense is handcuffed with Gilbert. The playbook has shrunk. McClain is easily reading him. TD BAMA!!!
  3. I wonder how many QBs Texas has? Is Gilbert hurt now?
  4. Arenas is the return guy, but Jones is the 2nd return man deep.
  5. Bama has the Heisman Trophy winner and they try to pass on 1st down twice on this possession. RUN THE BALL!
  6. Getting/Renewing Drivers License - complicated and ineffcient - Check TSA - extra layer of inefficiency - Check Inefficient government taking over healthcare is bad idea - Check If government agencies don't work together, they can't help or protect us - Check Gov't has been getting more inefficient at an accelerated rate since 2001 - Check Many citizens walk around with blinders on - Check Good talk!
  7. He quit FOX??? Oh, Jimmie Johnson. We can all wish for everyone to quit wildly speculating about a new coach, but that ain't gonna happen. It is hard to jump on the bandwagon of a guy who coached one team to a SB win, but most have had success with subsequent teams. Off the top of my head, Mike Ditka, Hank Stram and George Seifert are the failures with other teams. Parcells, Shula, Holmgren, Vermeil, Lombardi and Jimmy Johnson all had reasonable success with other teams. Not sure how to classify Joe Gibbs, since he came back to the same team. Can't say that a coach will NEVER win with two different teams. It just hasn't happened in 43 years so far. If anyone asks, Dan Reeves, Holmgren and Shula lost with two different teams.
  8. As much as I'd like to see McClain in Buffalo, I think Nix is already hinting at what we'll take for our first pick: OT would make sense, judging from his comment. Whether it is Bulaga, I don't know. Seems that Anthony Davis, Russell Okung, Trent Williams and Bruce Campbell are mentioned before Bulaga. If Nix wants to make a big splash in his first year, why not ransom the future and trade next year's #1 and other picks for another top pick this year?
  9. We can all make statements about Buffalo, like it's a great place to be FROM, but does anyone think about Green Bay vs. Buffalo? Is Green Bay that much more of a better place than Buffalo? Plain and simple, it starts at the top. Ralph Wilson is a smart businessman, but a terrible football guy. Don't blame this on the city of Buffalo, blame it on the organization. Dan Snyder has the glamour of our Nation's Capital, so naturally he'll have an advantage to attract the better candidates. Buffalo has numerous problems, first and foremost is a bumbling front office and a franchise in question thanks to no ownership plan in place. If Ralph would decide to designate a group to buy the team, it will give the Bills a better foundation to build upon. Until then, this team will be in utter disarray.
  10. A former GM turned TV analyst should be considered for the Bills GM position...and why didn't we go for that idea?
  11. Moss/Cris Carter/Jake Reed combo with Randall Cunningham and Brad Johnson Mike Tice is the only inner circle guy mentioned for Billick, but with Jack Del Rio appearing safe in Jax, I don't know if Tice would leave. Maybe Fassell will come in again as OC and bring his star QB from the UFL...what?
  12. Very true Trent Dilfer vs. Trent Edwards Elvis Grbac vs. Ryan Fitzpatrick Kyle Boller vs. Brian Brohm Billick's version of Ground Hog Day.
  13. Good thought, but there are too many other good candidates for HC. Sherman's a good OC and is doing a decent job at A&M, but he needs to put some good years in at A&M before being considered for a pro head coaching job again. With the discontent with the Texans performance this year, Sherman may head to Houston and A&M will hire Kubiak (former A&M QB) after next season.
  14. If you're right, we'll call you scoop. For now, you're just a scoop of ****. We kid, but seriously, how could anyone believe Cowher (or Cower) would sign a 1 year contract?
  15. Is the Senator posting under another username? Honestly, I wouldn't mind trading down. We have way too many needs to be addressed. If we don't, McClain absolutely. Derrick Morgan from Georgia Tech has popped up on a few mock drafts as going to the Bills, but McClain offers a lot of intangibles.
  16. I like what I have read about Campbell, but he may be more of a project with a possible big payoff. No QB's please. Okung Williams Suh McCoy McClain Any one of these guys going to the Bills would make my day. Eric Norwood (S.Carolina) in the 2nd round would be nice, but we'd be looking QB in the 2nd more than likely.
  17. I saw the article headline that said TO is not closing the door on Buffalo. He'd be dumb if he did. Great bargaining chip to say that Buffalo will give me this much to stay and use that to get more with another team. Bills would give him another one year deal, if anything.
  18. Did you play Balderdash much?
  19. Article where the "established QB" is mentioned Nov 24, 2009 story
  20. It is and I thought the Idiotese comment was actually pretty funny
  21. Looked like he has a good live arm. Can see where he needs work on his release and delivery point. A little out to the side. Good size. Let's see if he gets any hype from Kiper et al.
  22. The Bills win today cost them two spots. Bills strength of schedule was stronger than the Seahawks, but weaker than Oakland and Cleveland. The final spots in the draft can change based on the Super Bowl teams who would own the final two spots. Strength of Schedule
  23. If that is the case, it will be a good thing. I do not want to see the Bills draft a QB in the 1st. We need a left OT. Beyond that, if Gerald McCoy slipped, fine, and I am a big fan of Rolando McClain, if he declares for the draft. It will just be one more QB that we can't protect if the Bills do take one at #9. Who needs to take a QB considering the Bills had two perfect passers this year Passer ratings
