  1. Then people get pissed off that the government is "keeping secrets" from them.
  2. Jim's Steaks on South Street for your cheesesteak and Victory Brewery in Downingtown for your beer. BTW, Victory has very good food, but you need to get there early if you want a seat. The bar is pretty big, so if you just want to drink, you can stand there. As far as "entertainment," there are several establishments. In Reading, go to Al's Diamond Cabaret. Daydreams is decent in Philly.
  3. You can toss in true_blue_bill for the trifecta.
  4. Ignore the black helicopters.
  5. Both. There is a direct correlation between the increasing of stupidity and the lowering of tolerance for said stupidity.
  6. Looks like either RiO or Boomer is back.
  7. I am still laughing at that. A fvcking certificate.
  8. Santorum was the first to "reply:"
  9. If someone of higher qualifications were to say that Murphy's idea is a POS, then you would be whining that they are nothing more than a Bush apologist. Thanks for continuing your usual trend. Agree with you: credible. Disagree: RNC shill.
  10. After reading your posts, he is qualified because he agrees with you. Other qualifications are meaningless.
  11. Are you always this stupid or have you worked towards this for many years?
  12. Patrick Murphy (Dem candidate for U.S. House) calls his plan a "Phased Withdrawal," but it is basically a "phased withdrawal" immediately. I think his "plan" has all troops out within 6 months.
  13. Just to be fair, I also sent a modified copy to the challengers in the election: Bob Casey (D) Patrick Murphy (D) It will be interesting to see how the two parties answer the e-mail.
  14. The humorous non-responses/form letters from my Congresscritters to the Dubai Ports fiasco has made we want to continue the fun with them. Here is the letter I sent to my "representatives" regarding Social Security Reform. This was sent to: Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA) Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) Let's see how they respond.
  15. I should send my Congresscritters my plan for Social Security reform to see how they respond. Since it is close to election time for two of them, I should get a speedy response. Specter is not up for re-election, so I imagine I will see a response sometime in 2009.
  16. Moving at the speed of government, my other Senator (Spector) decided to get around to responding to my e-mail:
  17. I do not have much to spare, which is why I made the...what was I saying?
  18. I think I just lost 20 IQ points, just by reading this post.
  19. Congrats Nick and Mrs. Nick!!!
  20. I didn't want to state the obvious.
  21. They're evil.
  22. Because of the heavy Asian investment in the U.S., among other things. If Asia takes a crap, so does the U.S. economy.
  23. Actually, I think that you are referring to the reactor promised in the Geneva Agreed Framework. That reactor was never finished. Other facilities have been around since before Clinton. You can't blame Clinton for Yongbyon (their main enrichment facility). You can blame him for the enrichment that went on unfettered during his administration (all the fuel that they have for nukes they enriched under Clinton and about a year of W). You can also blame Clinton for having our country internationally mocked by the North Koreans. You can also blame him for the attitude of the DPRK, since they realized under him that they just need to make a fuss and the U.S. would be too scared to do anything about it. Clinton bribed them in every way possible to get them to stay quiet and it failed miserable. You can also blame Clinton for nuclear/missile technology that they acquired while he was looking the other way.
  24. Life isn't fair. Get over it.
  25. It is not a bad song. I heard it on Sirius this week. Maiden is one of the few bands I have stored in my radio.
