It will be OK. I just got a speeding ticket about 2 months ago. I was going 64 in a 45. It was originally a 4 point ticket, but got it reduced to 2 points and a 180 fine. According to NJ Manufacturer's (the best car insurance in NJ), they don't recognize the first two points. Go to court early, the Prosecutor WILL work with you to lower the points. You may get some, but since this is your first offense, they usually go easy on ya. BTW, change your court date. Say you are in school, and you need some time. They'll do it for ya.
