i don't think you read his post. He said Mario had a good game. Not that he was a dominant force all year. Can a man have a good game without all the hate? Not on TBD!!!

Lol, I think you asked me this before and I didn't say anything. Must be killing you. I was drunk and not happy about a Bills loss and decided to start a name on here. Luckily, it took them a while to allow me to post (I probably wouldn't look to smart in my posts had I been able to with drunken rambling) but I guess I misspelled it in my drunken anger and didn't know how to use a space bar. Sorry for annoying you for it, but I thought it was funny and decided I would just keep it going.
I know why I made the name though, its because of Kyle Willimas being nicknamed by some as "ham". I was going to put in my signature..."Derius, Kyle, and Mario in for the sack, its a ham sandwich!!!" but I was not able to because I didn't have the option being a new person.
So there you have it, the story behind the name. Love it, hate it, its all the same!

My guess is that you, and the rest of the negative nancy's on the board, won't have to be "let known" and that you'll likely be singing the praises of the D by that time. Until then, I'll take it one game at a time and recognize those who had a great game. Enjoy the rest of the season!

No offense but this is why football fans are so dumb. Mario could have 5 great games in a row but when he has a bad one he sucks and vice versa if he has 5 bad games then one good one he's DOMINANT...

You're not smarter than all of us, I said he was dominant in this particular game, not all season, and I didn't proclaim that he was going to be dominant during the rest of the season.

Unfortunately that is the problem. Against good competition, he has been practically non existent. So I am not going to come on here and sing his praises for a great game against arguably the worst offensive line in football. Yes, he had a great game, he was extremely disruptive (as was Kyle Williams IMO and he was getting held on almost every play) but when it is all said and done, he is going to need to do it consistently and against better competition before people around here care very much.
I'm not going to continue to answer the same responses. If you read through the thread, you'll see what my answer to this same question is. That said, I think we're also seeing the D come together. What's happened in the past has happened in the past, this is a game to build on and move forward with. Lets see if he can do it next time around against the Pats in a few weeks, as the D has been able to gel some more. Teams can get better as seasons continue, its not unheard of.

that ill agree with. it seemed like he was stumbling around out there on the spots sometimes.
as far as the chain measurement here, ill stick with the if you swing the camera a few degrees to a straight shot its likely much closer looking.
Yeah I noticed this also, annoying!
I dont think I've ever seen that much daylight between the stick and the ball and have it called a first down in all of my time watching football 20+ years, angle not-withstanding. I think it was a horrible call, it was not a first down, they screwed the pooch...

Who cares what Vegas says? Really? I would say the casinos that stand to gain or lose millions of dollars on any given Sunday. These numbers aren't arbitrary. And I wasn't grasping at straws. Comments were made saying what makes you think the Cardinals are an inferior team and I posited that Vegas odds predicted this game to be close. If the Cardinals were really the world-beaters that people are making them out to be, it would've been a +7-+10.5. Not really straws, just facts. They dont throw s&%t at the wall to see what sticks over in terms of betting lines. And I don't think they saw something in the Bills that made them move the line lower. Right? 100 points in two games? So they must have seen something negative in the Cardinals.
Maybe they thought the Bills would not have 3 in a row lost, they're going to have their backs against the wall and come out fighting. Maybe they believe the Bills are better than their two blowout losses in a row, maybe it WAS because they think the Bills are better or maybe it was because its hard to figure out with all of the injuries on both teams. Good teams win games with injuries because they have good depth. The Bills won, I think thats a statement about their depth against a good team.

theres got to be some explanation that we just havent encountered. or that from our angle it looked off but was barely touching. i have to believe that if it was legit short, the refs couldnt possibly mess that up.... could they?
If you look at the picture (and I noticed it during the game), the ref is standing behind the ball, why he didn't line up to see it from the side I have no idea. Inexcusable.

I know he kicked the game winner today, but if you would rather punt then attempt a 51 yard field goal why keep the kicker on your roster?
I say it's time to either get a new kicker or just give the job to Potter.
Actually, during the game when there was the decision to be made, I instantly said we should punt it and pin them back, if we miss that 53 yarder they get the ball in great position and only need a FG to win. I think it was a good call with how our D had been playing and with a cold QB behind center.

Trust me, I enjoy delving, but I'm not a student of X's and O's like some around here. I do know that this season, we win when the opposing QB "fall down, go boom."

Great, if that happens then have fun with your "where are the Haters" thread then. Not after one game.
We had a "where is everyone who said we'd miss Pat Williams" thread after one game against Houston's terrible offense in 2005. Then the Bucs in week 2 and every decent team thereafter ran down our throats the rest of the year while fat Pat & his Vikings stuffed every running game for the next five years.
This is just one example but there have been a lot of these pointless threads in the last 10 years. Just don't be that guy.
How many times do I have to say, I am not saying he's a world beater, I'm not saying anything earth shattering. All I'm saying is that Mario showed up and give him props for it. My goodness, why is this so hard to understand? Wow! I'm not trying to rub anything in any's face, I'm not trying to prove the "haters" wrong, I'm just trying to give credit where credit is due. Just give credit for the last game played. I am well aware there are many games left. Did I make any predictions? No, I'm merely trying to say, good job Mario, you had a good disruptive game. That's it and thats all. Can you understand or no?

Like I said: And also the line was only +4.5 for the Bills. We just gave up 100 points in two games and the Cards were 4-1 and playing at home. I don't think I'm the only one who thought they were soft.
That's a pretty meek line for a team with an 8-game winning streak at home.
Would it be better if I didn't call the Arizona Cardinals inferior? Would that help this argument? Would it be better to just say we handed them the ball in field goal range in the dying seconds of the game and that they lost it for themselves? If he hits that 38-yarder, we're not having this discussion. We STOLE a game, let's stop pretending this was some type of quality show of power on our end.

Two weeks ago the Cards gave up 8 sacks to the Dolphins ... last week they gave up 9 sacks to the Rams ..... of course our pass rush looked good.
