  1. Hooray! He sure knows how to turn it on when it counts!

I dont get this quote. This was a MUST WIN game, we were back in the hunt if we won this game. Mario gets 3 sacks, and I personally remember one of them leading to a punt, and I also yelled out quite a few times during the game "thats what we got you for Mario!". He was getting it done in the BIGGEST game to date for us. So, excuse us for feeling good about our pickup after the monster game he had, not only sacking, but constantly getting pressure and stopping the run. Some people! Seriously!

  2. Spiller just isn't that guy. Freddie is pretty good at finding that little crack that's going to be available but CJ is like Barry Sanders in those situations. For every home run he hits, he's going to get crushed 5 or 6 times. The best thing the BILLS can do to resolve this next offseason is find a real short yardage guy who can move the pile.

Note to Chan: Stop taking Spiller off the field in the red zone. The damn football isn't heavy.

My sentiments exactly...CJ is your best weapon and you continuously take him off the field in the red zone. Look, I'm not angry, because we won the game. However, this could lose us the game in the future. Keep the best play maker on the field ESPECIALLY when you're inside the 20.

  3. Miami, Indy, Jax and STL all look at Buffalo and think "we should win that one" just like the bills are thinking right now. We thought the Titans game should have been a W. They don't turn out like they look on paper

What the heck is this argument? Its not an argument at all. I don't care what they think about us, we think we're the better team and we'll say we can win. They can think they're the better team if they like, that's called fandom. Why is this even an argument. Oh right, its not. Just a statement.

  4. I usually don't make predictions, but I think we'll throttle the Phins. They're falling back to earth and we just played a tough game against NE. We'll be hungry to finish a game, and this one will be done by half. Bills win big and we find out what CJ Spiller can bring.

    52-24 Bills

  5. "they can EASILY win all the rest of their games"????

    what are you smoking?

even if its the easiest schedule, playing against all winless teams, and you were the best team in the NFL, it would not ever be EASY to win 7 straight games in the NFL...and we dont play all winless teams, and we aren't the best team in the NFL (or even close)....

maybe you meant to say "its possible (very slightly) that they would win the rest of their games"?

Wow, this is apples and oranges...top team vs 0 for whatever teams and you dont think they could win 7 in a row. I think the Packers from last year would easily destroy this years KC Cheifs 7 games in a row IMO. Thats a rediculous statement. Now the Bills won't have as easy of a time, but its certainly not unthinkable. Get off your high horse.

  6. I wouldn't say the current class of rookie QBs needed 2 - 3 years.

I'd say the trend has been beginners luck, Cam Newton was a world beater last year where is he now? Jake Locker? Dalton did pretty well this year but took a step back. Did any of them actually make the playoffs? No. So, the OP is saying that in order to make the playoffs we need to get a QB but acknowledging that we will likely not make it for a few years with a rookie QB.

Tannehill, Luck, and RGIII have had some success this year but they have had their downs too. It takes a few years to really get it down. Who knows how they do from here.

  7. I was done before the san fran game!

    You're proud of that?

For all you LOSERS that want to cash it in - LEAVE NOW!!!

Given a L this Sunday it would put them @ 3 - 6 ..... with a lot of winnable games left - they could get to 8-8, 9 - 7 or even 10 - 6. There will be only 2 road * games left on the schedule. It aint over til its over NEVER give up.

    Nov. 15 Miami 8:20

    Nov. 25 @ Indianapolis 1:00

    Dec. 2 Jacksonville 1:00

    Dec. 9 St. Louis 1:00

    Dec. 16 Seattle* 4:05 - In Toronto

    Dec. 23 @ Miami 1:00

    Dec. 30 NY Jets 1:00

    ----

My pre season prediction(s) - the Bills have lost to 1 team that I didn't expect them to lose to and that was Tenny.

    so far 10 - 6 is still a probability

Though I would not ever say to a Bills fan to leave now because they have a different view, I agree with what you're saying. The season isn't over until its over. Anything can happen. Teams look dead in the water and they come all the way back, back into the playoffs and win championships. What was it? The 2007 Giants that the fans were calling for the heads of Coughlin and the FO? They became hot, backed into the playoffs, beat the Pats in the Superbowl. Theres a precidence, and it can happen. Just have a bit of faith...

I know I know, nothing in our past indicates this is going to happen. However, the past does not predict the future. That goes both ways, I'm not saying that the Bills will be the Giants but I'm also saying that the losing we've made is in the past and what happens here, moving forward, is separate from what has already happened. One game at a time. Anything can happen, have faith.

  8. Its not so much the windup as it is the ball comes out in 2.5 seconds. When the clock hits 2.5, hands up!

That's very true. Wade probably focuses on how long it normally takes for Fitz to get the ball out and then tries to get the timeclock syncronized in his DLines head. One mississippi, two HANDS UP!!!!

  9. I havent seen this posted on the board yet but I was reading the article from ESPN talking about the Texans and how they are, far and away, the team with the most swatted passes from their D Line. I don't know about you, but, even more than a sack even, I think a swatted pass can be one of the most disheartening of acts a D can do (other than a pick of course). Think about it. When your QB sees a wide open reciever, tries to deliver (in his head he's got a big gain) but it gets knocked down at the line. That's very disheartening and disruptive.

I've noticed that Fitz seems to get a few knocked down a game, as most QB's probably do. I've noticed more often this year though. Does anyone have stats on this obscure statistic? He may have some trouble against this DLine becuse of the swatting (among other things of course). Anyway, thought it was interesting, hope I didn't babel too much in too many directions and you're not pulling your hair out reading ;)

    Bills looking at Barkley?

God, I hope not. First of all, I don't trust USC QBs after the most recent bunch. Secondly, Barkley has been very underwhelming IMO. Thirdly, I think Geno would be the better choice. Lastly, I think its too early to be talking about QBs to draft as we don't know where we will be drafting. What if we rattle off a few wins in the next 5 games, could be a different story. Havent lost faith in the Bills THIS season.
