  1. I'm gonna stick with what works. Last week I predicted the cards to win 41-6 if they kept their starters in. So if tenn keeps their starters in they win 35-16
  2. ? If you're talking about Courtney Upshaw he's not a mlb he's a olb/de
  3. I like the move if for nothing else Merriman is a fiery motivational guy. As a situational pass rusher doesn't hurt
  4. Im in no way defending fitz however there should be zero question that this team misses David Nelson. That was a huge loss to this offense. very reliable slot receiver with sure hands and a good redzone target. Easily our 2nd best wr on a team that right now is lacking wrs and not just because of fitz inaccuracy. If anyone really believes Donald Jones is a #2 well to each their own.
  5. Awesome today we get to watch the Bills be the nicest dressed losers
  6. When we have someone else to flush him for. We don't and save the tarvaris jackson nonsense he'll never even remotely be an option. We're stuck with Pickspatrick until we have a viable alternative
  7. Cards 31-13 only cause they take their starters out in the 4th quarter. If they keep them in Cards 41-6
  8. Might have a lot to do with outside of Stevie Johnson we have no NFL caliber wr's. As nice of a redzone threat scott chandler is he's no seem stretcher so safeties can easily give help to corners against the speed of donald jones or graham who are pretty one dimensional and not having David Nelson hurts. That and Fitz not being a good qb
  9. True leaders come from unexpected places. GO CHOICE!!
  10. Another one in the line of the 370+ carry theory. http://www.footballdocs.com/running_back_carries.html
  11. And it will be. While Yes having Mario and Anderson is nice to line up with them the way to beat qb's like Brady isn't that offtackle edge pressure. It's the interior pressure. It's the de's forcing them to step inside to Williams and Dareus, and It's Dareus/Williams forcing brady to move around and become uncomofrtable in the pocket setting up pressures and forced throws and hopefully sacks and turnovers. If we're gonna have a defensively sound game vs NE the best players on defense will have to be Williams/Dareus
  12. exactly why I would support a move to the North. It just makes sense. We have no rivals in the east anymore
  13. Im not a big fan of tradition. I'm all for developing those basically backyard rivalries I would be 1000% behind a move to the AFC North. The Dolphins/Bills rivalry is dead. Bills fans seem to apathetic to consider NE a rival, and the Jets meh
  14. I don't disagree with you on this. When we start getting into the meat of the schedule against those better defenses and tiz isn't taking advantage of the long passes when they're there, or even trying to stretch the field we'll run into a serious problem. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt right now, because we where/are running a very hot hand with Spiller, and working with good field position the last 2 weeks. As we move along here hopefully They stick to what they're strengths are but also use the speed of graham and the rac ability of johnson and even donald jones a bit more.
  15. Probably. Trent Edwards is what a 3rd string qb, and Bledsoe owns a coffee shop in Walla Walla,Washington that seems like a safe bet.
  16. I look at it like this Fred is a pro athlete if the trainers coaches and Fred himself feel he can go without risking significant injury anymore than any other time of the year healthy or not would than I'm all for Fred Ex playing. I'd rather have the best chances available to us to beat the pats, then save it for "down the line". I see both sides of the argument though
  17. Well one I'd have to go back and look at every time said "touchdown" was passed up. In all seriousness though. If touchdowns where passed up that's pretty impressive in and of itself as the qb you love to hate only leads the league in touchdown passes, and the Bills are tied for 6th in ppg at 29. are 11th in yards per game. 8th in 3rd down pct, and I'm pretty sure one of the top teams inside the redzone. of course as fans we'd all love said qb to take advantage of every opportunity that some writer on rotoworld tells us about that we didn't notice during the game, and when you're actually playing football the odds of seeing every available outlet on every single play is damn near impossible. So while easy to criticize if you look at the picture at a whole the offense has performed pretty damn well. Of course I'd like Fitz to get better with his overall accuracy, but at the same time I don't wanna square peg round hole. Play to the teams strengths. Any question that our strength on offense is a run oriented short-medium range passing on its best day? Fitz isn't Roethlisberger or Matt Schaub, but if he's gonna convert the simple opportunites when they're there take advantage of short fields and perform inside the redzone. I'll take that every single week.
  18. The goal is to win games in real life. Fancy yardage and stats are for fantasy fan boys who know nothing about football
  19. We played the Jets week 1 kc week 2 than cle week 3. It's a combination of media types only going off the marquee Jets game, and not paying attention to trends. Anytime you put new players together and you have common sense you realize it will be an eventual progression to play within a system and let their natural ability take over when it becomes second nature. As Bills fans we've seen the progression from week 1 to now. I wouldn't worry about who says what in the media, as long as the Bills go out there and continue to get progressively better than we have nothing to worry about. Even the giants dline wasn't the giants overnight. It takes time and patience. 9 sacks in 2 games. improving against the run, solid on 3rd down? I'll take that every week.
