  1. Lol they almost converted that one!
  2. Hue drops the challenge flag like an 0-13 coach.
  3. Come on guys, gotta pad those stats, get them sacks!
  4. Wildcat for the rest of the game please
  5. No one wants to hold the corner.
  6. Too bad about that offsides. That was a rookie year Robey play.
  7. It tells me maybe Dez Lewis is constipated?
  8. And the Broncos need to lose 2.
  9. Fitz will not stay on the bench. He is a voodoo master.
  10. This hasn't been used enough as a joke around here.
  11. Ugh. Are we going to have to watch Miami in a playoff game this year?
  12. Honestly he's the perfect hire for them.
  13. Wow I didn't know either! Well, I'd love to see Petty play well enough for NY to keep him as their starter for the forseeable future and to give Miami a loss.
  14. Goff looks like a QB... until he throws the ball.
  15. While our defense may not have had the same level of talent as the loaded Seahawks D, but let's not forget how dominant the roster was under Schwartz. All 4 guys on the line were all-stars, the DBs were playing good ball too. Do you think the defense the Hawks run is closer to a Schwartz D or a Rex D? Realistically it's probably close to the middle, but I don't think Carroll would ever run the defense like they are scared of the QB. The defensive playcalling against the Raiders in the second half was brutal. The idea that he's carving up the defense, so rush 3 and drop more into coverage time and time again? That's basically giving up.
  16. I stated in my thread from last night a similar point, not so much about the safeties or linebackers but in general, outside of corner, Rex's scheme relies on heady players more than physically talented players. It's the kind of scheme that elevates the play of lesser talents but neutralizes the dominant ones. We were built to dominate physically and we are being asked to play a heady game that doesn't attack so much as bait the opposing team into making errors.
  17. $27 mil + $14 mil = A lot of money for a placeholder or backup.
  18. This may be truth. No one corner can shut down an entire side/player. Maybe there is some truth to the "antiquated" tag? Either way, I still think a Gilmore is more vauable to Rex's D than most other players on the roster at this time. And he is a known talent as opposed to a green draft pick.
  19. Thanks man. I know it's a lot of text to process. I appreciate your appreciation though!
