  1. shameful to think you're a bills fan and calling a game before the last second ticks off the clock. haven't you learned anything through the years?
  2. yeah, he's going to be receiving a letter from the league office. It wasn't even a small/questionable throat slash...it was a nice exagerrated shoulder to shoulder slash.
  3. what are you talking about? have you listened to his radio show at all this week? he's not been saying anything but positive things about the bills.
  4. they've been on directv hd for the last few weeks.
  5. don't forget Paul McGuire is an ex-bill and always favors buffalo.
  6. our next four games are NYJ, @NE, STL, @SEA?? Haha, just brutal. Hey, we win the next four you can buy your playoff tickets.
  7. haha. easy, they've got tomlinson. guy catches 100 balls a year. and antonio gates. Bigger question is what is SD going to do now that Drew Brees has turned into Chad Pennington and Rivers is sitting on the sidelines?
  8. I don't know why it seems so far fetched that we couldn't get a #1 for Henry. Perhaps it's more realistic to get a #2, but it's certainly very possible. GMs aren't going to fault him for this year's performance given his situation and will give up a #1 if they believe Henry will take them to the next level. Best example is probably Philly. Interest in Henry from these other teams could force Philly to send the #1: Miami NY Jets Oakland Minnesota Atlanta Tampa Bay Arizona
  9. As I think you know Kelso, I've not had any interest in focusing on Bledsoe as the problem of the team. I still don't think today's game fell on the play of Bledsoe: - There were literally like 9 plays at the end of the game when Harrison was allowed to blitz Bledsoe absolutely untouched. How in the world did the coaches not adjust for that? This happened quite a bit earlier in the game as well...that was some of the worst coaching I've seen in awhile. - I'm just sickened by the number of penalities the team has made. Again today we get a Fletcher PF..an offside on a critical 4th down field goal...fumbling a game-tying fumble recovery into the end zone...just terrible. - Henry/McGahee blowing blitz assignments. That being said, I've very quickly losing hope for anything this season...and one reason I've not wanted to jump to Losman is it's most likely going to cost us a full season of him adjusting to the NFL level of play (as with any rookie QB). However (and I think this is basically what you are saying) if the season is over, why not start Losman's now and let his NFL adjustment begin now and have him ready for next year? I don't really see any point of pulling Bledsoe for Matthews, but when Losman is ready in a few weeks...if we are haven't magically turned the ship around...it's definitely time to make the move.
  10. It's funny that last year it was non-stop "he takes too many sacks" "too many interceptions" "bad decisions" "hold the ball too long". He essentially doesn't make any of those mistakes and the thread is "it's all bledsoe's fault!!" We win the game today if any ONE of the following happened today: - Moulds doesn't fumble at the 2 yard line - Lindell doesn't miss a 41 yard kick - Clements tries to bat the ball down/punch it away from jimmy smith on the 4th & 14 rather than try to pick it off. - the jags don't make a great play as time expires - we don't try some silly lateral to moulds - villarrial doesn't take a key holding penalty - london fletcher doesn't boot the football into the end zone in frustration after the 4th & 14 penalty. - we don't call a screen play to damion sheldon on 3rd & 1 from the 1.
  11. yeah, if you listen to the post game interview that's exactly what he says...was more concerned about giving up an INT on a forced pass. I actually blame the play call on that more than anything. The best we've got on a 3rd and goal is a screen pass to Damion Sheldon? I'd rather have just given it another go w/ McGahee at the line...at least it would have burned more time off the clock which turned out to be vital at the end of the game.
  12. ug. This is terrible. First, you're throwing Losman's name into a list with Kelly and Favre? Because he was cocky in college? Great, so was Ryan Leaf...and until Losman proves something he's got no business in that list. You think being a cocky SOB makes you a good quarterback? Second, what the hell do you mean Kelly and Favre don't necessarily make the "best friends" or "best spouses" or are not the "best all around human beings" ? Are you trying to tell me Kelly and Favre aren't good spouses? Aren't good people? Don't make good friends? What in the HELL are you talking about? By this post you are telling me you need a cocky SOB to win a SB? Does Tom Brady strike you as a cocky SOB? How about Brad Johnson? How about Kurt Warner? How about Trent Dilfer? Those are your last 5 SB winning QBs...and not a single one has the reputation you're trying to push. just a ridiculous post.
  13. I've watched for about a year and at this point I don't really think so. It's more about who's producing the program than the network. They vary slightly on what format they're broadcasting in, but pretty much everyone is at 720p or 1080i. MLS on HDNet is one of my favorite programs to watch...NFL football inside a dome is great...NBC's Olympic coverage was very well done.
  14. yeah, I thought that too...but seriously, guys shouldn't have large areas of blood in that area...and it was a significant amount. I wonder what happened.
  15. This might sound like a strange post but did anybody notice a huge blood spot on Henry's uniform in his crotch type area when he on the sidelines during McGahee's relief in the fourth quarter? I don't have that part of the game recorded so I can't post a screen shot...but somebody tell me I'm not crazy and what exactly it was.
  16. Next week is unbelievably important. If we can go into OAK and get a big win, the team will hopefully have the right attitude going into the bye week and preparing for NE. If we lose, we risk the team slipping into a losing mentality and mopping around the entire bye week and getting destroyed by NE.
  17. Clements definitely makes a major error on this play. He almost appears to be going for an interception when he should have his hand in a fist and be trying to punch the thing into the 3rd row of the stadium. INT doesn't make any sense.
  18. haha. he certainly does like his ice cream. I think focusing the attention on JP over Bledsoe is pointless. JP isn't going to come in and turn this team around in one season. Never happens. I'm not ready to conceed two rebuilding years and a hope for a SB run in 2006 when Moulds is on the decline and Henry is playing for the Jets. Bledsoe did everything he was asked to do today. MM brought in a game plan that allowed Bledsoe to compliment a dominant running game. Today he made good reads, made quick deliveries, took only a single sack, completed 17/26 passes, threw no interceptions. The passing game was only 40% of the Bills offense, and lead to the Bills only touchdown. MM now needs to do what GW couldn't do. Fire a team up after a heartbreaking loss like today. A lot of times all a team 'needs' is a few wins to unite the group and get them believing. I'm glad it's Oakland this week and not NE.
  19. Every time that scenario comes up and a team decides to punt instead of take a long field goal...it seems the opposing team drives that 20 yard difference in about 6 seconds. I'm going to have to look through the stats and see how many times that decision pays off.
