  1. OK OK, I know I will always miss #80, and its gonna take a longgg while to get over it. I just wish Moulds put up better numbers. I was jumping for joy when we grabed him in '96. Would Moulds have higher #'s if Kelly was the QB from '96-'05 vs. Reed from '87-'96?
  2. Sorry Dave, I am not an Evans supporter. I was never a Peerless supporter, Eric was always....KING I am actually hoping that Davis has a better year than Evans. Evans shouldn't even TOUCH Dre's jersey number........and certainly will never sniff his stats. EMo for President......yup yup!!!!
  3. THANK YOU!!!! Evans aint, never will be the same wideout Eric was. Also, Evans will not be here in 5 years!!! Moulds had a great ten year career with the us and we will surely miss that brother. Good luck in Houston Eric, I for one will be following the rest of your pro football career; wherever it takes you.
  4. THANK YOU!!!! Evans aint, never will be the same wideout Eric was. Also, Evans will not be here in 5 years!!! Moulds had a great ten year career with the us and we will surely miss that brother.
  5. Injured in the Rose Bowl and could not play in the Senior Bowl, in part because he could not fit into the MRI machine to be checked out and cleared to play in the game.
  6. Did Jim sign any autographs for any of the guests??
  7. . Thanks Marv, we can't win with f'in FLY WEIGHTS at Wideout!!!!
  8. E Mo had what, eight hundred and some odd yards last year. History proves he doesn't have good seasons that end in odd numbers. So it looks like he is primed to do what follows the rule; gain over a thousand yards. He just needs to remain on the roster come September. (Hopefully a lot of praying from myself, will keep him here.) I will be holding my breath until Marv gives us a decision Also, do not forget in those four years, he has been a Pro Bowler three times!! 1998 1,368 yds. 1999 994 yds. 2000 1,326 yds. 2001 904 yds. 2002 1,292 yds. 2003 780 yds. 2004 1,043 yds. 2005 816 yds. *2006 1,021 yds. *2007 ??? *2008 ?,??? Anywho, my first visit to Orchard Park was in 1996 to see one of Kelly’s final games. It was against Cinci. and I will never forget the trip. We met Eric on Saturday before meetings out in the lot where the players walk into the stadium and I had him sign a jersey and a helmet. He was a very mellow fellow and was also extremely friendly & accommodating. I told him I was up to bid Kelly a fond farewell, and to anoint him the new Pro Bowl wideout in town. He told me he would do his very best. When he said that I knew he would meet my expectations. I didn’t think it was going to take three years to get there, but he proved me right. On Sunday, at around 12:25 in comes this big ass Suburban, sure enough it was Kelly. I brought this lithograph to the stadium hoping he would scribble his auto on it somewhere. Once he got out of the truck, I said “Mr. Kelly will you sign this sketch for me please” as he approached the fence. He said “yea, come on.” I handed it to him and he started to walk towards the tunnel. I walked side by side with him half way down the tunnel, next to the man I thought was God at that time. He was a big fellow next to all of my five foot nine inch self. I told him I watched every Bills game since ’88 and that in my mind he was the greatest QB of all time. (Doubt he needed his ego boosted any higher than it already was) He told me thanks for making the trip up to see the game and then said that he was sure they would win the game. So now I can say that walked down the tunnel of Rich stadium with a Hall of Famer, something I will always remember and cherish. The autograph he penned on my lithograph looks as good as the other seventy to eighty autographed items I have collected through the years. *I know it isn’t realistic, but he my favorite Bill; behind Jimbo. One just has to pray that he will stay.
  9. Screw that old timer.............What about Ron Edwards?? Is he PUP or just not worthy of re-signing??
  10. Notes: Prop 48 in 1997 but got the year back. Missed the start of the '98 season with a hernia. Came back to see action in the last nine games but did not catch a pass. Played in 10 games and started one at F-back in '99, when he had 19 catches for 143 yards and one touchdown. Started every game in 2000 and '01. Caught 22-340-5 in '00. In '01, numbers fell to 18-224-1 with Rohan Davey at quarterback. Davey threw more to his wide receivers and less to his tight end than Josh Booty. Was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference pick by the league's coaches and a second-team selection by the media in 2000. Was a second-team pick by the media in '01. Joined Louisiana State's basketball team but gave it up after playing in five games because of some foot problems and a lack of time to do what he had to do. Positives: Has the size to be a true tight end and the pass-catching skills to be an H-back. Adjusts to the ball well and can snatch the ball away from the frame of his body. Will make the sensational catch at times. Will catch over the middle. Is a good downfield blocker who also can be a pretty effective in-line blocker. Negatives: Has poor workout numbers and is not fluid. Has an almost stiff and awkward gait when he runs at times. Lacks great size and power for an in-line tight end. Is not an overpowering blocker. Gets jammed at the line and has trouble releasing quickly at times. Will lose his concentration at times and has more drops than he should have. Just average after the catch. Will run hard but is not at all elusive. Had a disappointing senior year. Summary: Lacks speed but has good hands, so how well he blocks and plays on special teams will be the key to him making it on the next level. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CNN: Two-year starter and All-Conference selection as a redshirt junior. Senior totals were 18/224/12.4/1 in 12 games after 22/340/15.5/5 the prior year. Complete tight end prospect effective both catching the ball and blocking. Breaks down well, strong at the point of attack and turns opposing lineman out run blocking, easily handling one-on-one assignments. Displays adequate footwork in pass protection, stays square and shows good arm punch. Patient, blocks with leverage and works well with his tackle. Fluid releasing off the line of scrimmage, adjusts to the errant throw and extends his hands, catching the ball away from his body. Finds the soft spot in the defense, comes back to the ball and makes himself an available target. Not quick off the snap into his blocks, lacks speed and as a pass catcher and best in the short to intermediate field as a receiver. Times poorly in the forty and does not play much faster. Could be a solid player for a team that does not want its tight end to make many plays down the field and asks him to play within himself. Lack of speed will most likely knock him out of the first day but could see significant action as a rookie and eventually break into a starting lineup. Early Fourth Round. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- USA Today Positives: Huge target over the middle...Moves gracefully for a player his size...Bends his knees and keeps his feet moving while delivering punishing blocks for the ground game...Natural hands catcher who runs crisp underneath routes, using his arms properly to break tackles…Skilled at making the tough catches with defenders on him...Turns upfield in an instant after the catch...Sustains blocks in space and is very smooth firing low off the line, showing the speed to get to the second level to neutralize linebacker. Negatives: More comfortable blocking upfield rather than in-line, as he does not have the base and leg drive to sustain and "short arms" too much to gain leverage…Has a good short area burst, but labors to get into gear after the catch…His inability to get a solid hand jolt coming out of his snap causes him problems releasing vs. press coverage… Over-extends and lunges at blockers when asked to trap block…Has concentration lapses when working in traffic, dropping some easy passes. CAREER NOTES: Finished his career with 59 receptions for 707 yards (12.0 avg) and seven touchdowns while starting 24 of 42 games…His reception and yardage totals rank third in school history among tight ends while his seven scores rank second. PERSONAL: Graduated in August, 2001 with a degree in Kinesiology (2.4 grade point average)…Son of Annette and Robert Royal, Sr…Born Robert Shelton Royal, Jr., on 5/15/79 in New Orleans, Louisiana. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KFFL: Looking at Royal makes us wonder why this kid isn't great. He has all the tools, and looked great in about four games this year. If he finds the desire to be a great player, he very well could be a starter in time. Ranking: No. 83, 3rd Round.
  11. I love to use Moorman's arm on a fake punt while playing madden. The guy has a descent arm. I try to look for Eric King hanging on the left side or if he starts going up the middle, I fire a pass at him. Usually he will make the catch for the first. Give it a whirl against a friend.
  12. Living in Philadelphia & not paying any mind to their local press I could care less what they are doing. However, one poster yesterday trashed them as being coercive jerks. Well whomever stated that, was absolutely right!!!! Saints | Bentley denies report Sat, 4 Mar 2006 06:39:00 -0800 Mike Triplett, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints OC LeCharles Bentley denied Friday, March 3, a Philadelphia newspaper report that he is planning to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles as soon as free agency begins Monday, March 6. One thing that is clear is Bentley will not be returning to the Saints. Earlier this week, he made his strongest comment yet, telling CBSportsline that, "I would rather sit out a season than play for the Saints again."
  13. Carolina, I don't find that funny at all. Get back in your hole!!!
  14. Vikings | Cottrell to retire Tue, 14 Feb 2006 05:52:07 -0800 Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, reports former Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Ted Cottrell revealed Monday, Feb. 13, that he has filed retirement papers with the NFL. "I don't want to retire," Cottrell, 58, said. "I'm being forced into retirement." Cottrell has been unable to land a job with an NFL team, despite 10 head coaching changes. "It's been a bizarre year," Cottrell said. "All these openings but no jobs. I've called some people and it's the same old story. 'We'll let you know if anything opens up.'"
  15. Question for fox pregame/postgame watchers. How long has JJ been wearing his hair "bed head" style?? Me thinks he looks way out of place with the new do!
  16. Mr. Wilson has HUGE f'n ears.... take a look at a pic of him standing next to Marv. Kind a like the size of citizen kane's fireplace!!!!!!
  17. Hey JamieBuf12, you are a punk ass kid. Sit yourself down and watch a class act, (forget spitting problem), school DB's around the leauge here in Buffalo next year. He is still our playmaker!!
  18. Why can't we keep #80 on our team for a few more years? Yes, I realize his cap # is very high, but as I watch the colts, they have a receiver, #88 who commanded the type of $$ that Moulds is blessed to earn. Why is everyone out to not redo his contract, to add three more years to space out the money. Yes, I remember we did it two years ago, why not do it again??
  19. Unfortunately I live in the burbs of Philly and they are crazy fans, to put it bluntly. Thanks to directv, I watch NY national channels. I really think that TO needs another superstar like himself {other than a QB} to keep him evenly keeled & playing like he gives it 100% 24/7. Someone like Moulds, R. Lewis, McGahee, Portis or Woodson could be that person. When he was in San Fran he had no problems when Rice was there. Bottom Line he should have went to Baltimore.
  20. Orange is right. Normally Cross is all over every Bills opponent. I started watching the game and was quite upset that Cross was doin our game. Nice change of pace for the guy; he was actually giving our guys due justice. He used to batter us when he had the color duties. Thanks Randy
  21. Hey Goo, how are tivo and dvr's screwing us????? Chuck
  22. The whole commercial situation can be avoided with either a TiVo {the 30 second jump} , a cable box with a DVR or you can now find TV's with built in DVR's. Some of these recording devices can also record HD programing I know everyone can't afford these pieces of electronics, but these are viabe ways to avoid the dreaded commercials. Chuck
  23. I would send you a dvd from my tivo, but I deleated the game already. I didn't see ONE play that I would want to go back and review!!!! Other than a Moorman punt or two you didn't miss anything......
  24. Can't wait till week 7 when he gets to SHUT DOWN Randy friggin Moss. He did a so so job on him in Nate's second year, but this will be the REAL test!!! GO #22
