  1. Game #1 Buffalo Bills at Jets

I wonder if Rex Ryan saw this?

"I gotta tell you, I don't like the idea of a quarterback controversy at the start of a season, so if I was a Jets fan, I'd be pretty nervous. There's going to be a lot of tension in that situation " Obama said

Stay tuned for a rebuttal from Mitt Romney. :w00t:

  2. i htink you mean "solid starters" right?

which one of these is a question mark...

    1.Levitre

    2.Urbik

    3.Wood

    4.Hairston

all have played a year or more with great results, an injury to wood is the only thing i can think of a being a question mark so might as well add mario, freddy, SJ, and kWilliams to your list since they are all coming off injury too.

adding any troubled WR would be stupid at this point at the cost of potentially ruining team chemisrty. Let SJ be the leader and let a rookie break through, we run 4 wr, a dominant WR isnt as important as people think in this offense.

my bad, how did you find this forum then? i thought everyone here started there. also if you want unique bills info, i can email you my opinions which you may then quote as a "trusted source" here on the forum. Basically it will always be something regarding trent edwards sucking. :-)

I am new to all message boards, I was probably drunk when I signed up but I really appreciate your guidance on the board, I now understand how the forums work.

    Thanks again.

  3. I have mixed feelings lolo.

It's a poignant revelation but also, it begs the question "why did he wait so long?"

The one plausible explanation is what someone else brought up in another thread (wish I could remember who because I liked the theory) which paraphrased Ralph as thinking,

"I'd spend the money if I trusted you guys to spend my money."

If that's the case it's also a bit tragic in that he finally made a good hire with Nix but did so too late in the 4th quarter of his own life.

From what I read a few years back, Ralph Wilson tried to hire Buddy Nix several times with no success.

  4. Players have bad practices like they have bad games. There were apparently a lot of drops today and it was a problem. TODAY. Chan is not going to tolerate it because it cannot happen much. All players drop balls once in awhile. You try to keep it to a minimum obviously. Chan has also repeatedly said how guys were doing well and making plays on other days, and he is very pleased overall with the receiving corps. We will be fine.

Sure hope you are right

  5. Hey House, have you listened to the interviews on BB.com?

While he was not candy-coating things, I think it might look worse in print than it sounded on the video audio.

The silver lining is that with Stevie and Nelson being held out of practice, it gives the other guys more reps to improve their rapport with the QBs.

I personally don't think this is a big deal.

No, I will have to do that. I heard part of the interview on WGR...... I hope you are right. I think we need to solve this problem before the season starts

  6. thanks for cut and pasting the article on two bills drive that we all saw.

+1 but put it this way, if one of our other cb's goes down to injury, (which always happens) now youre down to mckelvin or rogers as your starter(shiver) if you let mcgee stay he should be good by midseason, and we all keep hearing how you can never have enough corners. I say keep mcgee no matter what, as insurance and because hes a great Bill.

Obviously I didn't see it an neither did a lot of people, geeez, have your coffee yet? ...:flirt:

  7. Terrence McGee has been with the Bills since they took him in the fourth round of the 2003 NFL draft, and he's been a very good player in Buffalo, both as a cornerback and as a kickoff returner. But McGee is worried that it may be coming to an end.

McGee still isn't 100 percent healthy after suffering a torn patellar tendon in November, and he says he's concerned that he won't be able to show enough in training camp to demonstrate that he deserves a spot on the 53-man roster.

"That's one of my worries right now, and it was one of my worries in OTAs; will I have enough time to get in here and get right and compete for a job?" McGee told the Democrat and Chronicle. "I can't control it right now, all I can do is go out there and work hard and improve on something."

Although McGee accepted a pay cut and restructured his contract in February, he still looks at the Bills' cornerback depth chart and wonders whether he's good enough to make the team.

"I'm at the back of the line right now," McGee said. "There are guys way in front of me right now."

And McGee is running out of time to catch those guys. McGee's time in Buffalo might be up.
