I agree with you Kirby. I would love to be wrong and have EJ turn into even a good starter this year, but I get the sense that there is a fairly good chance he may not even be on our roster come training camp.
If we draft Grayson/Petty/Hundley, I could see us letting them develop under Cassell and Taylor. we could very well trade or cut EJ if Whaley/Roman/Ryan feel Taylor could be back up. would be very difficult to develop EJ and a rookie QB effectively.
Me too, but that was a very good throw in a very good play call with a good situation it presented a very decent open target. he shouldn't miss that one...his first read was there and he delivered..that's not his weakness normally.

1.) Those aren't bullets. Wabbling late throws at best.
2.) The down and In where Hogan lines up on the left is late and behind him. Hogan can't catch it in stride.
If that is how EJ throws against air all this hope of development is going to be shattered when there are players in front of him.
As soon as Hogan makes the break and turns his head the Ball should be on his hands in stride.
If you can't do it in practice against air, how are you supposed to throw it on time against opponents.
That tape should be hid not put on Instagram.

I been saying all along that a trade is Buffalo's best chance to receive proven quality. I seriously doubt that the Bills will start a 2nd round or later draft pick in 2015. Cassel needs protection in the pocket and a rookie would be risky.
So unless Buffalo can find a Ruben Brown in the draft a trade seems likely

"Playoff Sleeper" is just a way of saying "We want to be able to say 'I told you so' if they make the post-season, without being held accountable if they don't."
And anyone who says that EJ Manuel was showing progression before Hackett came on board is brainless. Hackett's the only OC Manuel's ever had.
A sleeper to me is an average team that have just enough talent to win 9 or 10 games
A contender can dominate and win ANY game

This is also one of the reasons I had issue with Whaley taking Watson, Not that you do, however doesn't matter how great a receiver you are if the QB can't get the ball to anyone. He seems to throw passes down the sidelines OOB also.
So,your plan is to give EJ crummy Wide Receivers ??

i think we are below average on the OL and we have probably the worst if not top 3 worst QB situation in the league. besides that we are looking good! SUPER BOWL!!!
