  1. Not true. Drunk Chip traded us Shady, not the other way around. Hughes was solid. Again, 1 player over 2 drafts re-signed. 15 picks. 1 player. And we had to use 2 firsts and a 4th to select that guy. Brutal.
  2. Incognito was a year too late. Whaley also drafted the oft injured Watkins, Woods (gone), Kiko (not good), Goodwin (gone), PB (not good), Kujo (not good), Duke Williams (bad, cut), Meeks (bad, bout to be cut), Karlos (cut), Steward (cut), Dez Lewis (bad), Randell Johnson (bad), Seantrel (bad, pot addict), Cyril (cut), Cockrell (cut), Shaq (TBD, hurt), Ragland (TBD, hurt), Aldolphus (lazy), Cardale (call me in 4 years), JWill (bad), Listenbee (who?), Seymour (who?), Hopkins (cut), Gragg (gone). Don't forget to mention; Giving TT a contract a year too early for no reason. Overpaid and gave way too much guaranteed money for a terrible, hurt Chris Williams when Richie was waiting for a call to play for nothing. Going into a season with Kolb the walking IR as our starter/vet. Going into a season with EJ, Thad and Tuel as the guys. Doubling down on EeeeeeeeeeJJjjjjjjj with the Watkins trade. Having to get screamed out to sign Orton by his coach even though his boy sucked. The Dareus "smoke weed and be happy" clause All is not lollipops and fairy tales in OBD. We'll probably sign one player from the 2013 and 2014 drafts COMBINED, to second contracts. This dude sucks.
  3. Never. That's still more than most QB's his age.
  4. Apparently I'm allowed to use a common idiom when referring to a white guy but not a black guy. What's that thing called you when you treat people different based on their race again?
  5. I like Gronk because you can tell he's mostly genuine, even if he hams it up a bit for the cameras. Watt is the biggest phony of all time. He made Hard Knocks impossible to watch.
  6. Forget it Jake, it's Beef Jerky.
  7. What kind of weirdo spends so much time obsessing about an online reputation? Me thinks you have some projection going on.
  8. People on Tweeter are insane is the major takeaway.
  9. I don't hate robotic answers or character. I don't hate Garrett for what he said, I just think it was stupid and more importantly, not worth it. And there's a significant difference, IMO, of a reporter asking Garrett where'd he like to play, "Well, I've grown up in Arlington and stayed in Texas so I'd say Dallas because it's always been my dream, Mr. Jones, if you're listening, please trade up" and him making a home video saying only half that. One is spur of the moment light-heartedness. The other comes across a little worse, potentially. I wasn't trying to get that deep into analyzing, because that's quite a bit for one stupid home video.
  10. The joke is less funny when it takes 2 posts to get. The flipside of the coin is that Romo will have basically a year and a half off healthy. We saw what that did for Richie Incognito, who had his best year in 2015. I know, OL vs. QB, but I think there's something to be said about a little rest and rejuvenation.
  11. No, i mean 2016. Check the stats my man. Peyton and Favre dropped off by 40. Peyton threw 55 TD's at 37.
  12. I mean, Blokes, if you think he'd being saying this if the 'Boys were 4-12 last year, you're kidding yourself. His agent is in his ear saying it's almost a guarantee he goes to Cleveland. Why do something that could potentially alienate yourself with them? I know he's a kid, but even when I was his age, I'd keep my mouth shut when I'm about to get paid $20M.
  13. Thanks for looking out I guess. I'll take my chances that ravenous lunatics won't think I hate black folks because of that sentence.
  14. It's a common idiom. What does CURRENT YEAR have to do with anything?
  15. That was his original deal in 2015, but yes, he's going for all he can get now. This is his "second contract" basically and for lots of NFLers, it's the biggest one.
  16. When they are about to be your bosses and teammates, it's not. If I'm Cleveland, I avoid this dude. Trade to 3 or 4 and take a QB you like.
  17. No, Whaley did that last year. He set us up for this mess.
  18. Soon, sure. But not necessarily 1. Folks forget Dareus and JJ Watt had nearly identical first seasons. Which one would you rather have today? We'll see what happens. I won't say I love Shaq the player, because I don't, but if he puts up double digit sack numbers and is disruptive this year, I can hardly fault Whaley for picking him. Besides, there's more than enough ammo to string Doug up without resorting to "if Shaq sucks."
  19. He rushed back after the second one and re-fractured the same one. Hardly indicative of OI. You conveniently forget he posted the highest passer rating, completion% and TD% of his career in 2016.
  20. Who are you?
  21. What an interesting and relevant point to the conversation in your head.
  22. Well, it hasn't been 17 years or anything like that...
