  1. I think most folks wanted a WR better or as good as Woods to replace him.
  2. 22nd cap hit for the 22nd best QB. Not bad, actually.
  3. Without looking I can guess your list Bloke. 1. This means we're drafting a WR at 10 2. This means we're drafting a WR at 10 3. This means we're drafting a WR at 10 4. This means we're drafting a WR at 10 5. This means we're drafting a WR at 10
  4. Kyle Orton was good enough to win double digit games with a top 10 defense.
  5. Probably closer to subjective, but if your QB tucks the ball, he's running. Run-pass options would be a toughie.
  6. I believe designed runs don't count as sacks, for what it's worth.
  7. 29 RTDs to 17 PTDs, right?
  8. You said "he sure didn't take snaps like a receiver that started 13 games. In a lot of those he was extremely limited" Except his snap count is pretty close to Dez Bryant's, a WR who started 13 games. And the difference is easily made up considering the fact that Dez was the clear #1 all year, rather than the #2 for half of it like Woods. You can't follow a conversation. That's okay.
  9. Yeah, Dez broke his foot week 3 and had a concussion. He certainly missed some time.
  10. He played 60% of our offensive snaps and missed 3 games. Roughly, doesn't that track him out compared to a guy like Dez who also missed 3 games?
  11. Right, Dallas went from 4-12 to 13-3 because Jason Garrett turned into a HoF coach.
  12. I mean, I just said that. Clearly when you have Sammy taking up 40% of the snaps then ditching for 8 games, it's gonna throw everybody off. Goodwin was the #3 who turned #2. Woods turned #1. Furthermore, I have no reason to believe we ran 3 WR sets as much as some of the other teams in the league. That also throws off the snap count.
  13. What is TT's greatest asset to the offense? His legs. He's a way better runner than passer. I rest my case.
  14. I don't think anyone is arguing that a 16 game season of healthy Watkins doesn't make TT look a little better. But it won't make him anything more than he is, which is a deficient passing wildcat QB.
  15. Fair enough. Goodwin played 60% of our offensive snaps, Woods 59.5%, Sammy 39.5%. You'll find most teams have their #2 WR's around 60-65%. Lots of players play hurt. Go down the list of NFL WR's and tell me which ones didn't so we can throw out their #'s.
  16. Again, Woods played 13 games. What's this "extended period?" That was 2 less than TT played. Salas had 700 yards in his 6 year career. An impact loss? Really? He hadn't caught more than 10 passes in a season since 2011.
  17. Robert Woods played 13 games, Clay played 15, Goodwin played 15, Sammy 8. Ya'll make it sound like his starting WR's were Salas and Tate all year.
  18. The Bills have suffered from shortsightedness since, well, ever. If you take a player with your 1st or 2nd round pick that you wouldn't be willing to pay if they play at a /top 10-12 level, then you shouldn't pick them. Pick the guys you're willing to pay if they work out.
  19. The point NoSaint is making is that Mills was out there for both. It makes the reason he solely was difference between sacks allowed under center and sacks allowed out of the shotgun unlikely. But to your point NoSaint, could it be as simple as the gun, while worse for TT's passing ability, better for his elusiveness? Has to be easier to avoid the rush when they take wider angles, less up front pressure, etc. Furthermore, I think we need a contrast between 2016 and 2015. He was a much better producer in '15 and for all we know, he murdered it in the gun versus under center that entire year. Context and all that.
  20. Decent depth signing. Not much more to say.
  21. Agreed. But that speaks to the Bills' decision-making as well.
  22. Remember, this is what we expect to happen, not what we want.
  23. Hasn't the argument been that Whaley has put together one of the most talented teams in the NFL, though? If we have been truly as talented as the Bills PR wing would say, why have we only had 3 qualifying FA's for comp picks since 2014, while Baltimore and NE have had 9, and KC has had 11?
