  1. They aren't mutually exclusive, and I agree with him if that's what he thinks. Don't get it twisted, I think what Sammy meant is in the right, he just said it wrong. He should've worded it better. Giving the media soundbytes of "you're making me look bad," is the whole reason why he said the wrong thing.
  2. The lack of targets is making him look bad. That's what I said he said. The offense is making him look bad. He obviously cares about how he "looks." None of these conflict with what I'm saying. Explain how the context changes anything I said.
  3. Except in this case.
  4. "You're making me look bad." We all know what's wrong with it. But this is another classic example of a Bills player unable to do any wrong. I wonder if it has to do with worrying the Bills will lose talent to Free Agency or something.
  5. "You're making me look bad." "Of course I’d have 100 yards every game and a TD, if I’m getting 20 targets.” Sammy Watkins or Terrel Owens? Also, many posters who you respect thought Sammy's comments about his targets were phrased wrong. Nice job insulting all of them.
  6. lol what You're making me look bad and all y'all little jobs. Different definitions of the "right things" I suppose.
  7. Godzingas. That is all. ROY front runner.
  8. So we're pretending Rex isn't obsessed about the Pats?
  9. You're right, but I thought he'd get opportunities even as the #2. Especially with Gronk drawing coverage in twin TE sets.
  10. I was one of those people, but you're misrepresenting the argument, IMO. It was never that going to the Pats would make Chandler better. It was that he had decent numbers in Buffalo with garbage QB's who didn't throw a lot. One could reasonably think that going to another team with a way better QB who throws 40-50 times a game would increase his numbers. And I was wrong in this regard.
  11. Guess who's talking at Mizzou tonight? yaf ‏@yaf 19m19 minutes ago Don’t miss @benshapiro at #Mizzou tonight, 7pm ET, watch LIVE from Ellis Auditorium: http://yaf.org/live
  12. I think we're playing them this week.
  13. I don't see the logical connection between "surprised" and "pointing it out." Especially in this specific example, which was my other bone to pick. The commenter said "Very articulate man. Never understood why he never got into broadcasting." That's completely different from "woah, that black guy can speak!" "I never understood why Bruce didn't get into broadcasting [because it's not like he's not articulate]" is how I took the comment. Now you're comparing the averages of the entire US? Why not compare them to the population of the NFL?
  14. You're a spot-up guy Ryan. We all know you just sit in the corner waiting for the kick out pass.
  15. That's fine but play the odds, like we all do. There's a much greater chance I can play hockey than basketball. It's not a surprise, it just goes against what you'd immediately expect. You're comparing the articulate comment to black analysts, but that's not fair. That's a population that's selected for being articulate. Why don't you compare it to the rest of the players in the NFL? I could see how they'd be offended, but I'd disagree with their offense.
  16. Yeah, because white people aren't generally as good at basketball as black people. It's an understandable comment. I wouldn't care in the slightest. To pretend the world isn't the way it is and that assumptions aren't going to be made based on the majority is sticking your head in the sand.
  17. Yeah, I added that.
  18. He's wrong that it's insulting. BTMV didn't make the original comment, by the way. I think it's probably a thing that more black athletes are complimented by being called articulate. The reasons for that are up for debate.
  19. Of course not.
  20. You just said you don't have time to discuss this. Maybe that was just "tough guy intellectual" posturing.
  21. Yeah, to allude he was a racist. Don't get defensive because I called you out. You don't have time to defend your clearly flawed world-view? Shocker. I do.
  22. Did they tell you not to allude that some folks are racists too?
  23. What about me? #YesAllPosters
  24. I know exactly what he's saying. He's still incorrect.
  25. Is being articulate not a requirement to being a good broadcaster?
