  1. Trade a pick for Spiller and re-sign Fred. Reunite the 2014 fam.
  2. The Nazi comparison is actually the dumbest thing of all time.
  3. When you're hearing about it, it's worse, was my point.
  4. Just as was thinking "at least we don't have to talk about Tyrod Taylor in this topic."
  5. He said he didn't go for the fumble because he didn't want to get hurt. What do you call that? How do you disagree with the only guy who knows? How eloquent or descriptive enough does he need to be? How are his direct quotes "just off the cuff?" Under what circumstances are quotes not "off-the-cuff?" Player's Tribune essays?
  6. Cam admitted he wussed out.
  7. RG3 went back in after getting hurt. Not even remotely comparable.
  8. 1 score game in the Super Bowl with 4 minutes to go is much different from a random regular season game.
  9. Greg McElroy had some strong words about it. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2016/02/greg_mcelroy_says_cam_newton_q.html "What I have issues with is the way he did not jump on the fumble after he dropped the ball -- and I know he was getting beat up all game -- but he jumped away from the ball when the ball's on the ground. I have never not one time in my life seen a player do that, especially a quarterback. And you know what? His teammates will look at him a little different after that, especially his teammates on the defensive side of the football." "You can say what you want. The postgame press conference didn't bother me -- it really didn't -- because I think the media has a certain level of self-importance, especially when it comes to the Super Bowl. But I have big issues with the way he did not jump on the football." "...It has everything to do with the fact that I think he quit on his team, and it was most evident by the way he did not jump on the football."
  10. -Vince Lombardi -Cam Newton.
  11. It shouldn't, but that's the NFL for ya. The video of Ray Rice shouldn't have changed anything either. Basically what I was trying to say.
  12. Agree here, but I think the guys being cops does make this worse than average guys.
  13. 1. No. 2. Pretty sure if you throw a punch, it's still assault.
  14. Cam admits he didn't go for it because he was afraid of getting hurt in the Super Bowl. Rough look. Joe Person ‏@josephperson 2h2 hours ago Cam: "I don't dive on 1 fumble because the way my leg was-- it could have been (contorted) in a way. OK, you say my effort. I didn't dive... Joe Person ‏@josephperson 2h2 hours ago "...down. I fumbled. That's fine. But we didn't lose that game because of that fumble. I can tell you that" -- Cam This kid's rise and fall have been equally meteoric.
  15. These statements contradict each other. Did Cam get in his own way or did the Denver D put on a clinic?
  16. Exception that proves the rule.

  18. Everyone says they love a defensive battle until it actually happens.
  19. Really? I've never read that. I figured it was an "ignorance is no excuse" law, like defacing a federal vehicle. Either way, you gotta think the PD and DA's office will be gunning for them more because the alleged victims were officers.
