  1. There is no sarcasm. You claimed that benching Mario would exacerbate the problem. I don't see how that could be possible, when half the team was boiling over already at Mario's antics. At least if he was off the field, Rex would set the tone that **** like that wouldn't be tolerated. He'd set the tone that even stars who make the most money are held accountable. How is any of that bad? Do you think that that would make the team care more or less? Do you think the defense played harder or softer when they watched Mario quit on the field over and over? Is Preston Brown gonna sacrifice his body when he sees Mario standing straight up in front of his face 40 snaps a game? How anyone could try to say that's its acceptable that Rex didn't bench Mario, while simultaneously pounding on the table that Mario was a cancer who needed to be cut, is unfathomable to me. It does not compute. He needs to be tossed from the locker room, but also needs to see the field every week is incompatible.
  2. Maybe half the team wouldn't B word about him getting "paid to take two steps and stop playing." It would show the team that Rex doesn't care how much you're making if you suck or quit. Is that a bad message to send as an HC?
  3. If Bortles takes another step, I could see it.
  4. Freddy took Watt out badly. Blew Watt up. He should give his money back IMO.
  5. Where was the sarcasm?
  6. Every player on every team is better than the Bills players, except when they're ex-Bills. Are you trying to convince me of a point that I not only agreed with, but thought so obvious that I poked fun at you?
  7. How was it jeopardized? She arguably became more famous after the incident. How many other sideline reporters were on Dancing with the Stars?
  8. Or that Wake is 3 years older and coming off an injured year. Or that Wake has gotten much less sacks and tackles than Mario the last few years. Mario a downgrade at $8M is crazy.
  9. Again, breaking news. Most high-priced players don't sign with Buffalo if a championship means that much to them.
  10. Free agent in it for the money. In other news, water is wet. More at 11.
  11. $55M with 51% being paid by the stalker. Good luck seeing that cash.
  12. Lol. Comparing a 10+ year vet with a BUI captain. Kolb wishes he had Fitzy's career.
  13. As Jmo pointed out, they also lost Romo. You lose long runs when you have Weeden and Cassel under center. I agree there's some synergy involved. But then inserting La'el Collins, a move that you argued improved the line talent, also may have had a negative effect on chemistry. But again, on the whole, I agree. Just nitpicking.
  14. Didn't they lose one back to injury, another to crime, and DMC still had the second best season of his career, starting only 10 games? It may not make them exactly interchangeable, but it's close.
  15. Absolutely the most ridiculous thing you've ever said.
  16. That Fitz was cut to protect EEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeJ. That's how this whole conversation started. I even posted it after you said something to the effect of "we would've been better with Fitz on the roster in 13 or 14." Which I agree with. But he wasn't on the roster, and the Bills have no one to blame but themselves for that. Of course they knew Kolb was worse than Fitz. Kolb was just cheaper. Everyone and their mothers knew Kolb was worse than Fitz. This is indisputable. And how is the Bills lying such a stretch? Do you not recall we have no intention to move Stevie Johnson? Fred Jackson will have a spot on our roster? Mario Williams is playing great football?
  17. Or they were effective in 2013, less so in 2014. Which is why we cut Fitz, signed a cardboard cut out to compete with EEeeeeeeeeeeeeJ, then had to sign another expensive veteran back-up/fringe starter one year later when the HC had to scream at the GM for acquiring doggy doo at the QB position for 2 years straight. You and your black and white world.
  18. The GM was the one clearing out EEeeeeeeeeeJ's competition. The same GM who wouldn't sign KO until his HC screamed at him. The same GM who didn't bench EJ for KO for 14 weeks. So I don't know how your "point" contradicts mine.
  19. That was the HC's decision, not the GM's.
  20. But then someone might have challenged EJ and we couldn't have that.
  21. Huh? He had a torn patellar tendon in 2014 and calf surgery in 15.
  22. A better reasonable plan is using that money on literally anyone else. The best ability is availability and Harvin doesn't fit the bill.
  23. Well they gave him a pay-cut ultimatum, so I wouldn't be so sure. Is there an assurance Harvin wants to come here? And their injury histories are pretty different. Cruz hasn't been battling a chronic injury like Harvin AFAIK.
  24. Cruz could still be an FA.
