Nope. Got there at 12:20, spent maybe 5 mins in line, RFID on my iPhone wallet worked great. No futzing with any apps or internet connectivity or lost hard copy tickets. Big fan.

Great, good for you. Loaded to wallet, but barcode never loaded. Had to stand in line for 15 minutes waiting for tickets to reload from BB. When iPhones transfer from wi-fi to a dedicated network(because the Bills wi-fi is spotty) they have a tendency to require your saved page to reload. Wallet was useless for me.

Was told there was a “glitch” for some ticket transfers.

There were a lot of people, including younger fans having problems getting in.

Get to 4-0 and the division will still be up for grabs in December.   Bills and Chiefs may be three toughest games for Patriots.  But barring a Brady injury I can't see anything less than 12-4 for the Pats. I see a loss at Buffalo and loss against Chiefs in the regular season battle. Hard to come up with even one more loss let alone two.

Im fairly certainly the Pats, and their fans have the Bills chalked up as wins already.

    We shall see.

Im hoping for improvement over last season and it’s a long season.

Who cares if he is overhyped! He was the type of fan we all wish we had the ballz to be.

    I don’t get the correlation.

What type of fan was he? I have no wishes or desires to be that type of fan. I’m sure most don’t.

Dressing up in garb, professing love for a team isn’t out of the ordinary. He had cancer, and not unlike many here, he picked the Bills as his team.

    God rest his soul.

The Bills used him as publicity.

They may have had a soft spot for him but he certainly didn’t represent the average Bills fan.

It was a nice story with a sad ending.

The accolades are way over the top. There are many fans deserving who supported this team through thick and thin, mostly thin.

They were fans who didn't choose their team because of their colors.

If it sounds insensitive I’m sorry.

The thing that's obvious to me is the NFL is alot smarter than you, me and everyone on this board put together and if they could make more money doing as you suggest, why aren't they?

It’s  not beneficial for the league because their dollars are contingent upon advertising revenue. Trickle down revenue.

The networks generalize their viewership, optimizing ad rates. Pay per View will show limited viewership, exact viewership.

This will eliminate massive advertising rates.

This would not be a smart move for the NFL.

  5. I don’t care about power rankings, it’s subjective to the ranker.

To call the Bills defense as “pliable” questions the writers (both) knowledge of the game.

Parroting someone else’s narrative is pink slip worthy in my opinion.

People are generally lazy, depending on the perception of others for their information and regurgitating what they see/hear.

you forgot 2/3rds of the defintion, cherry pick much?

    Ma·fi·a
    /ˈmäfēə/
    noun

    1. an organized international body of criminals, operating originally in Sicily and now especially in Italy and the US and having a complex and ruthless behavioral code.
      • any organized group using extortion and other criminal methods.
        noun: mafia; plural noun: mafias
      • a closed group of people in a particular field, having a controlling influence.
        noun: mafia
        "the conservative top tennis mafia"

    Has multiple meanings.

Without knowing the intent of the origination, my guess is it’s supposed to be one of strength.

Numbers 1 and 2 do not apply to that.

Society today can be overly sensitive. The meaning in this case has nothing to do with organized crime.

Etymology. The word mafia (Italian: [ˈmaːfja]) derives from the Sicilian adjective mafiusu, which, roughly translated, means "swagger", but can also be translated as "boldness" or "bravado".

Yea, crazy. More than one wanted him in very early..

Don't understand the white flag reasoning...

It’s the same morons who used to clamor for Frank Reich over J.Kelly. They are casual fans who know absolutely nothing about football.

Did anyone else notice how bad the refs were at stopping the clock on out of bounds plays in the second half? Something was going on there that the league will look at. Especially the fourth quarter.

Yes, happened many times, especially in fourth quarter.

Not a player was touched, going OOB and the clock continued. I thought maybe there was some new rule.

No it's about forward progress. Once it is stopped the defense is not punished by the guy stepping out of bounds.

BS, there was no forward progress. Clock was stopped by phantom touches.

If he caught it he probably wouldve taken a decent lick, but he may have also scored the TD.  This isnt the 80s/90s - he goes head hunting and he's getting a penalty, a fine, maybe an ejection, possibly a suspension.

I don’t think the DB let up, he would have taken the same hit he took.

Zay turned to look before getting the ball. That was a good pass.

  10. Life long Western New Yorker.

I have homes here in WNY, SW Florida and Las Vegas.

There are a lot of transplants in SW Florida. The community I live in have a handful of ex Bills and Patriot players, whom I’ve had the pleasure to golf with.

I don’t get the fans who have never lived in WNY claiming their fandom and pain of losing.

I guess it’s because I believe I could never latch onto a team not in my venue, or have the emotional attachment.

I do root for the underdogs, so who am I to judge?

Hard to comment on it without knowing more detail (yes - I looked at the article).  I would say, considering Buffalo is a small market team, 19th is not too bad.

Being the best fan base should have absolutely nothing with market size.

The best fan base supports their product through all the ups and downs and should have zero to do with generating revenue.

I haven’t read the article but it’s likely the same conclusions based upon a team winning. Like the clown who insisted New England had the best fan base. The band wagon fan bases like Hartford, I mean Boston.

Just read it, as suspected it has to do with dollars. What does drawing on the road have to do with having a good fan base? Winning teams draw well on the road. People hate the Patriots everywhere I go.

Hes generalizing fans as nation wide based upon silly stats and it gets press.

Its a poor indication of fandom and this terrible study will get regurgitated by the national media for months.
