I’d be more inclined to get the weather forecast from a local source. The national forecast is usually off.
There is a possibility of pop up bands coming in. We get surprised often with lake effect storms that were not forecasted.

Well, the Ravens beat the Titans....we weren't able to do that this year and in fact, we got shellacked.
Hey, hey....dont hate the player, hate the game
The Bills shellacked the Patriots and spanked the Steelers. The Ravens lost to the Pats and lost twice to the Steelers.
The you lost to whom game goes both ways.
Im happy the spotlight is on LJ.
This is giving McClappy and the boys a lot of bulletin board material. No respect is a great motivator.- 1

DSB, excellent analysis.
I desire every talking head to pick the Ravens.
Let it snow, more ways then one.
Throw the damn ball and stop with the multiple Josh Allen called runs.

Ifs definitely worth mentioning. The titans had a total of 19 sacks coming into the playoffs and got to Jackson 5 times. They were 23rd in points allowed at 27 a game and held the Ravens “unstoppable” running attack to 20.
The narrative coming into this game is sort of confusing to me. The ravens hung a whopping 20 points on one of the worst d’s in the NFL while winning by a score. They’re the hottest team in football apparently. Meanwhile the Bills won a game vs a team ranked top ten in both defense and offense and apparently have been exposed.
That’s odd to me.
Exactly.
LJ is the poster child of most sports shows opines. He’s a one dimensional player for the most part. The reasons for the love is obvious.
Ask Bomani whatever the ***** his name is.They have benefited from a super easy stretch of football and beat a suspect defensive team with a whopping 20 points.
They better bring their A game here Saturday.

Normally I love gmfb but yeah they’ve been extra Ravensy lately. People love saying how Ravens won 6 in a row. We won 7 in a row.
Agreed. But Shaq was all over the place that game. Got to imagine Phillips was adding a lot of pressure too.
Agreed as well.
We miss Shaq. We especially miss Star big time.
The Ravens mostly run off tackle so gap integrity is going to be important. As far as Jackson is concerned, it’s tough to limit his running. Third and longs are very important as long as we do not tee off and lose the edge.
Maintaining the pocket and rushing inside might do the trick as long as the above mentioned edge players are not too aggressive. -
GMF is entertainment. They’ll be back on the wagon after a Bills win.
The Ravens are the same team as last year, the Bills are not. Play defense anywhere close to last years game and it’s a Bills victory.

I was the only member here who liked Allen
Nope.
Liked Allen too. Liked Baker as well. Hated Darnold, Rosen and Jackson.
I still don’t believe in Jackson’s sustainability.

We used to do themed eats at our 100 plus person tailgates. We’d hire chefs, bartenders and all that stuff.
For Baltimore the main menu item was usually Maryland crab cakes and oysters.
My at home menu will be wings and plenty of alcohol.

I picked the Browns vs Bills in the AFC Championship back in early December and will stick with that, but it is amazing how the Chiefs are overlooked.
They have 1 real loss in a year and a half. They humiliated the Ravens and the Bills earlier this year. Yes, they laughed at the Bills despite the score. They may just be significantly better than everyone in the NFL. I actually took some time last night and this morning to look at their last few games. It is pretty obvious they were a very disinterested team. It was almost like a cat toying with a mouse. I worry they may be SIGNIFICANTLY better than everyone left, including the Packers.
Humiliated the Bills? Not quite. Our coaches played scared, in a very bad weather day, with a hurt QB and let them run on them.
The Bills were one score away in the 4th quarter, hardly humiliating.
Fast forward to this week. Our coaches played scared again.
That’s my worry. Spend way too much time trying to contain Jackson and not going for it offensively.Worry about KC if the time comes.

I searched for pictures from the game and my memory must be fading with age. You were right, it looked very cold and the best I could find were piles of snow pushed against the stands. I never realized that game and probably many games, can be seen in entirety on YouTube!!
It was brutally cold. Our beers froze and god forbid you had a mustache.
It wasn’t snowing from what I remember but there was wind. Wind chill was like minus 35.
Wind is the issue.
Snow helps the offense unless it’s heavy snow.
predicting weather in WNY a week away is futile. Who knows what lurks ahead.

Tough game. Playoffs are difficult.
It sure looked like the coaches outsmarted themselves.
Daboll reverted to early season offense attempting to get the Colts out of their defensive plan. Didn’t work.
Skip the Allen keepers and do what brought you here.
The Ravens will run. Running may keep the games close, passing and no turnovers is what will win this game.

Calling for Snow and Wind.
If that is the case, that favors the Ravens.
1-3 inches maybe, 10-15 mph winds.
Not a big weather issue.

Yup, 11 rows from field. Have fun, it’s a great time

They would likely get their first round pick back

Ok. We have had terrible field position all game, theColts have played a pristine game, sans the 4th down call.
Now let’s see what we do with the second half kick off.
If we put 7 up then this game could get ugly.
Daboll will have a better half.

At the time he wasn’t all that wrong.
I used to have the same discussion with Transplant Bills Fan on another message board about EJ Manuel.
He couldn’t hit a 10 foot wall right in front of him. It’s almost impossible for a QB to improve accuracy because of muscle memory. When a defensive player is breathing down your neck you revert to what you perceive is comfortable to release it.
Bill Polian said the same thing. All football people say the same thing.
Josh Allen is a freak! An aberration and I’m glad he’s ours.
Go Bills!

Weather will be nice, great day to toss the ball.
Those who haven’t watched the last 6 or so games are looking at stats to judge defenses. No one is taking into consideration the level of competition this team has faced. They look at stats to make their cases.
Bills offense is clicking, Bills defense is playing like a top 5 defense again.
The colts won’t score over 20 in this game.
Bills score 30+

Not sure this is the team we should have wanted to face most. As time goes on the more I realize this is terrifying and the Colts could steal this one.
Im nervous, only because of the gravity of the game. Win or go home.
A lot of people seem to believe the Colts will run all over the Bills and that could happen.
Yet, the only way the Colts can keep up with our scoring is through turn overs and short fields.
No stupid plays, pick 6 plays or turnovers in our territory then this will not be a close game.
I don’t care if they ran for 500 yards last week. They played a 1-14 Jacksonville team going through the motions and they
were less then a score ahead going into quarter 4.
Lets hope we start out hot and not take much figuring out time.

I wouldn't be surprised if they pass more in the first half because they know Buffalo will be playing the run and use the short passing game to score, try and build a lead and then run it in the second half.
I said the same thing in another thread.

They could do all that if they CAN.

Houston would be foolish to trade him, especially without drafting his replacement.
They sure blew trading that draft pick to Miami.
Saturday can’t come fast enough. It’s been the longest week for me.
-
Don’t be surprised if you see the Colts come out throwing.
Everyone expects the run. Surprise.
Having said that, the Bills should win this game easily.

He had a solid game last year.
Im lookin for another standout performance. Get that big first playoff win. Get that monkey off our backs and keep it going strong.
Finally?
As though there’s historical precedents.Try another word or ditch it all together.

Espenesa always seems to be around the ball. He makes one play per game in his limited playing time. If he were to get a bit bigger he may be able to play more often.
Bills Offense versus Elite Defenses

I agree. The Ravens are no where near an elite defense.
If they blitz there is no way their DBs can match up one on one with our receivers. If they don’t then Allen will pick them apart.
Pick your poison.
They can run if they want and put up 3s while we put up 7s. I’ll take that all day long.
The Bills have beaten the best league wide defenses.
At home, in less then perfect weather conditions, will give the offense an advantage.
Daboll needs to get back to what we did best during the last quarter of the season. This isn’t a take what they give you situation, it’s a take what you want situation. Stop with the JA QB draws. We did that early in the season.
If the game plan is playing scared then the Bills will likely lose.
