  1. If thats the problem, I recommend a trip to the Canadian massage parlors to reduce swelling.
  2. Core system has always been $299.00, but only a fool would buy it. For $100.00 more (the cost of the premium is $399.00) you get a remote, wireless controller, headset, and a hard drive. Seperately the extra would add up to almost $200.00 more. As far as the comparison to a PS2 or even an Xbox goes, that is laughable. I have a PS2, Xbox, and a 360. Remember what PS2 games looked like when it first came out? Wait another 6 months before passing judgement on the 360's graphical prowess. As far as it's similarity to what a tricked out PC can do, check out Call of Duty 2 on a fully tricked out PC. Next play it on a 360 hooked up to a TV. The 360 actually plays it with better frames rates. Cost of a 360 - $400, cost of a decent PC - $1000-2000. Where to get them? I bought mine on ebay before the launch and only paid 500. I know the guy that sold it to me is regretting it now. You best bet is to check in at BestBuy and Circuit City as often as possible, as they will continue to receive occasional shipments. Also check out Xbox fan forums like teamxbox.com or xboxaddict. People will frequently post links to web sites offering 360's in stock.
  3. Both solos in Iron Maiden's Alexander the Great are at the top of my list. Also, Craig Goldie put together a masterpiece in the solo for Dio's I could have been a dreamer.
  4. Sprinkle in a dash of bad coaching and you pretty much have it...
  5. Oh, I totally agree with you, but I usually attend 5-7 games a year, and looked forward to it all year long. It just adds insult to my literal injuries!
  6. It looks like I may not get to attend a single game this year. On September 3rd my friend and I were in a high speed car accidend that left me with a broken neck, my humorus (upper arm) suffered a major compound fracture, broken ribs, 2 collapsed lungs, and numerous bumps bruises and lacerations. (My friend wasn't so lucky RIP). My friends sold my tickets to the opener as I was still on life support. When the 11th came (also my birthday) I thought it was the day after the accident and thought I might still make it. It is the first home opener I have missed since 1995. My recovery has been slow, as my arm bone has not healed due to an infection in the incision. It may be another 6 weeks. I don't have a cast, but a metal plate in my arm holding the upper and lower parts of the bone together, and also am using a bone growth stimulator to promote healing. If the infection doesn't heal soon, I may require surgury on my arm. Possibly 2 of them, one to get at the infection, and another to take bone from my hip to add to the non-union in my arm. To make matters worse, on Wednesday, I am schedualing a surgury on my neck which will take 6 additional weeks from which to recover. That means I'll probably have to sell my tix to the Denver game as well. This might be the first time in 11 years that I won't be able to attend a Bills game. I can't tell you how frustrating that is. Just needed to vent. I try to keep positive around my friends and family as they are stressed out enough about the whole thing as it is. And considering I lost a good friend in the process, it seems like a petty thing to complain about. Anyway, thanks for listening. Go Bills!!!
  7. Do we need to do anything? I mean come on, its f'n Mexico for cryin out loud. I was p*ssed when those idiots did that, but they already lost the fight. I mean come on, they are from Mexico.
  8. Yesterday, Brad on WGR was talking about some restaurant that had a "fiesta night" which was essentially a Mexican buffet. Does anyone know what place this is?
  9. I'd like to buy it, but I'm "short" on cash...
  10. It looks great... oh wait... I see Coy Wire... nevermind!
  11. I would suggest watching the first five minutes. Its rather self explanatory, and you'll know after that whether or not you would wish to continue watching. I've had it on for about 45:00, mostly just listening to the audio, and its very interesting.
  12. If you have a few minutes, watch this: http://69.56.146.50/netrostream113/npcc.wmv And here is the disclosure project website: http://www.disclosureproject.org
  13. I didn't think he was all that bad. I mean lets face it, he was making better calls than the ass-clowns wearing stripes...
  14. Was JP something like 2 of 7 in the first half? If you look at the fact that there were 2 or 3 balls that went right through receivers hands, he really only made 1 bad throw, which was the one to Moulds. That being said, I don't think he looked bad at all... But obviously, the lack of injuries was the best part.
  15. But wait guys, he can jump out of a pool....
  16. I voted for Duff's. Their lunch special is great. There are far better wings available in the area though. Oh, and for the record, the always have honored my requests to have my wings not served swimming in sauce. I found the Anchor's wings to be a decent size (much bigger than Duff's especially the flats) but they were very soggy and undercooked, even after having request extra-crispy. Also, I think their prices were WAY too high. If you don't mind occasionaly lousy service (though not a fault of the staff, just the volume of business) I highly recommend The Pub, located on Broadway (near Transit) in Depew. They have some of the best wings I have ever had, and the quality is consistant. They have a great selection of styles and flavors ranging from mild to over-the-top-melt-your-face-hot, jerk style, baked italian pub style, and char-broil bbq on par with La Nova's. Additionally they have Hi-Def projection screens mounted to the ceilings to provide a great game day experience. I also recommend their steak fries...
  17. For someone who said "C-Ya" several posts ago, you still seem to be hanging around. Must be post lag...
  18. In before the lock!
  19. Umm, except the poster ins't the one who was bitten...
  20. http://www.billszone.com/mtlog/archives/20...ort_7302005.php Scroll down for someone report of last night's practice. Sounds like JP did ok...
  21. Yeah, its sunday morning, where are the reports from last night???? I NEED MY INFORMATION FIX!!!!
  22. The award for most annoying easily goes to the one for Herrons (sp?) Landing that was being played on WGR.
  23. Why is it that you and I can see this, but the wonderful hosts on G4 could not? Were the genitals of Sony exec's obscuring their vision?
  24. No way is that real game footage. That's not going to be what the in game look is like. I'm not some MS fanboy, but all of these companies, particularly Sony, will give vague statements like "to spec" to cloud the question. When Sony was asked point blank if that was really the 3D engine, render those images on the fly, they side stepped. (Check out IGN.com All of the staff pretty much agrees) That being said, if Killzone 2 looks HALF that good, you can count on me getting a PS3 at launch.
  25. My old lady who works at a vet's office, pretty much says the same thing. Her recommendation was to put a tablespoon of vegatable oil on the dog food (teaspoon if he isn't full grown). She also said to make sure you are using a high quality dog food. Also, regarding shampoo, she recommends using aloe and oatmeal shampoo, which most vets sell.
