  1. Mel Kiper stated yesterday that Nugent is projected to go in Round 2.
  2. Who ? Did sports exist before 1985 ?
  3. Here's a prediction. Matt Jones, the Arkansas QB who is lining up at WR this week... 6-6 247 with speed and good hands. The Bills pick him in this draft. Say hello to your slash player Mularkey covets.
  4. The columnist seems to have more glockenspiel.
  5. Irony, thy name is b.harami98.
  6. He was excellent at explaining the formations and various plays. He was just too loyal to his ex-mates and quick to cut off Murph if he made a critical observation concerning one of the Bills players. That became painfully obvious during every broadcast. I still like the guy and wish him the best.
  7. but these are all wet .
  8. Agreed. Chris V. = Average, Teague = Average ( was terrible but improved ), Mike Williams= Average but improving. LT = ? ( Jennings gone, big problem ), LG=? ( Tucker. Is he just a good versitile backup or a starter ? ) I think identifying starters at LT,LG should be our top priorities this off-season. No arguments here.
  9. A rolling stone gathers no Moss. It sure does squash problem children, like Moss.
  10. Sacks for Bledsoe 2002 - 54 2003- 49 2004 - 37 - It's getting better 2005 - 0 - Much better. He won't be here. ( I hope ) The line will improve by not having to contain their man for 5-7 seconds, due to the QB holding onto the ball too long and not being mobile.
  11. Mare has issues with a bad calf or something leg related. This is why Miami is looking at other Kickers or drafting Nugent. Why would we want someone elses damaged goods ?
  12. It's so cold , I saw a Lawyer with his hands in his own pockets ! Thanks. I'm here all week.
  13. Alex is probably a nice guy, I don't doubt. Yet he became a complete Bledsoe apologist on the radio game coverage. There was no objective balance to his analysis. He was completely defending the Bills players and it just wasn't working. I hope he gets the job and moves on.
  14. What are they going to have, a 15 game season then 2 months of playoffs ? and the Sabres STILL won't make it.
  15. Did anyone read Aarons reply ? I read he has a major disc problem with his back. The Bills have other realistic options than this brittle wingnut.
  16. Maybe the 13 minute drive with Otis Anderson getting 4,5 yards most every play. GRRRRRRRRR..now I need a drink. Walt F#*King Corey. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  17. I'd just as soon forget about the entire 2nd half of that game. Took the tape and threw it in the garbage. Have never watched it again and never will.
  18. Sorry about that. Grant had the same idea.
  19. What about a switch in SB 25 ? Parcells for Marv ?
  20. I don't. I gave the Pats a great shot vs. the Rams and could see the Giants keeping it close vs. the Bills. Those lines may have been deserving but I didn't buy into them at all. The Colts definitely had that Goliath look about them in SB III. I think the Pats are the closest thing to them in 36 years. The Eagles appear to have little to NO shot in this game.
  21. Eagles seemed very dependent on the pass this year. Now T. Owens and TE Chad Lewis are out. Looks like McNabb will be a one man team, looking for Westbrook and WR's with questionable hands. NFC never looked weaker this past season. Enter the Pats, who looked dominating against the Colts and Steelers. Haven't heard anyone picking the Eagles yet. Looks like a complete mismatch to many. Way back in the 3rd SB, the Colts entered the game looking unbeatable, winning their championship game 34-0 over the Cleveland Browns. They were installed as 19 point favorites against the Jets. The Jets stunned the Colts 16-7 and no other SB has such a shocking final score. I never looked at the Bills in that same light, prior to the Giants SB 25. I thought it would be a close game. The Colts looked like they would beat the Jets by no less than 3 TD's. That final was truely shocking. I view this SB as the Pats winning by no less than 2 TD's. The Eagles look to be in big trouble, especially when the Pats D is matched up against the Eagles Offense. The Pats offense may run more, due to Philly having 3 Pro-Bowlers in the secondary. If Brady can throw effectively, this game is over at halftime. I do think the Pats can run. So would an Eagles win be the most shocking SB upset in 36 years ? I say Yes. Thoughts ?
  22. ESPN has been showing the South team practicing this afternoon. I've been watching them for the last hour. Mel Kiper is poviding scouting reports. Craig James and Mark May are interviewing coaches, scouts. Very good coverage. Tomorrow afternoon, the North squad.
  23. A broken back or a broken neck. Which is better ? Just wondering , while I read the above.
  24. RIP Dimebag. Oh wait, wrong thread.
  25. I'm still royally pissed about the Fried Bologna sandwich being removed from the menu in the Maguire Club. I believe TD may get a 3rd rounder for Henry or a conditional pick for the much stronger 2006 draft, which may prove more prudent. The market has to work itself out.
