  1. I was thinking he would be their pick, solely on the fact that both Chris Brown and John Murphy bring his name up near every time they talk about the Bills draft. I know people think they are paid Bills cheerleaders (and they are to a degree) but I think they (Brown especially) are privy to a lot more info than they can present sometimes...Brown was all over the EJ pick last year, when I didn't really hear anybody else mentioning him as the Bills first pick.

That is exactly why I'm nervous. I've noticed over the last few years that BB.com tends to tip its hand towards what players the Bills are definitely interested in by posting articles, almost to serve as feelers to get the fans ready for the move. They've been mentioning Lewan A LOT lately and next to nothing on the other OT prospects (Robinson, Matthews).

  2. They were talking to him at the same time they were negotiating with Chandler. Basically a fall back. Chandler resigned and their interest faded.

I would say thats probably accurate. With 4 TEs on the roster right now who they like I seriously doubt we draft a TE in any round of the Draft.

  3. Veteran free agent tight end Ed Dickson has been offered a contract to return to the Ravens, according to a source.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have also offered Dickson a contract.

Dickson has drawn interest from other NFL teams, including the Buffalo Bills, who re-signed tight end Scott Chandler after the start of free agency, the New York Jets and the New York Giants.

  4. You're leaving out a RB, which I do think the BILLS take a run at in the 4th....nothing against Skov, just the BILLS trying to plan for next year when Fredex and maybe Spiller are no longer on the team, FJax to retirement and Spiller to trade...

I had a RB slated in my first mock draft but with the signing of Dixon I feel like the Bills have solved that problem. They wouldn't keep a 4th RB on the main roster IMO this season.

  5. According to Rotoworld, the Bills now have the 9th most cap space in the NFL, even after all of the signings.

    9. Buffalo Bills

Approximate Current Available Cap Space - $18.3 million (figure doesn’t include the re-signing of Scott Chandler)

Buffalo’s biggest splash came via the signing of free agent cornerback Corey Graham. Aside from a few other small moves, the Bills have remained quiet over this past week. Still way under the 2014 cap, look for the Bills to be more involved in free agency’s second week. They did execute a potentially high-impact, if low-cost addition by signing former Patriots run-plugging inside linebacker Brandon Spikes to a reported one-year, $3.5 million deal over the weekend.
