I hope he brought his sleeping bag, cause marrone probably wont be back until after the big game in Mobile.
Somehow...that scenario fits.
-
Donnie Henderson is perched outside of Marrone's office right now, binder in hand.

Uh oh.
The Bills main page on BuffaloBills.com just shifted to a lead story about the Bills being "prepared" in case Pettine leaves.
What's interesting is that they already posted this story yesterday...now it gets bumped to the front page.

Man...see, I would actually take a flier on Kenny Britt. I know the guy is kind of a head case but you sign him to a one year or two year deal? That's worth it in my books.

Looks like we'll know by the end of the day.

I'm really torn on drafting a WR so early this year. I honestly like our crop (even if Stevie is kicked to the curb) and there are some decent free agents available as well. Not denying the talent of guys like Evans or Lee, I just feel like we could spend our picks better along the O-Line and then snag a WR and TE in free agency for some veteran stability at those very young positions (especially if we let Chandler walk which I think we will).
I'm thinking an OT prospect like Cyrus Kouandijo or EJ's former teammate OT Cameron Erving for our first rounder. Both guys can play both Tackle or Guard, showing the versatility that our staff likes, and would be a starter at RT or RG from the first day of camp.

Browns getting all the love so far...

This is an excellent thread and a great cause.
Here's my story which hopefully provides some motivation.
Back in February I weighed in at 255 pounds. Kinda the same song and dance, but I was just tired of being a fat guy. I had always been a pretty big dude since high school but I started to hate the way I looked and it honestly was impacting my health in a pretty negative way (I was getting winded a lot, plus some aches and pains attributed to carrying that weight around).
I started a calorie-counting diet and began running on February 16th. I focused on fruit, veggies and fish and kicked junk food completely to the curb. This was particularly hard for me as I've got a massive sweet tooth but I just kept reminding myself of the end result. I started weighing myself every other day and writing the results up on a calendar in my office so it was staring at me in the face every day. I joined a run club up here in Wilton and what started off as just one mile walks two days out of the week has now grown into 5K runs at least three days of the week. Even more if my schedule allows, I honestly look forward to each and every workout now. I combine those runs with some light weight training and have stuck to the proper diet for the last seven months.
Its not been fun and it certainly has not been easy but as of my last weigh in I'm at 157 pounds for a net loss of 98 pounds.
I'm very happy with how I look right now and I've recently shifted into just maintaining my weight as opposed to losing any more. I'm a lean, mean running machine these days and I've honestly never felt better physically or mentally.
Its all about motivation and will power. If you are honest with your dieting and workout routine then you'll just watch the weight peel right off. I'm anxious to follow everyone's progress here, keep it going guys and girls!

I've actually seen a few fantasy football projections that have him running all over us tonight.
We'll see.
-
Great job Kiko! Awesome news.
-
Everyone can now go into this game with the utmost confidence.
Jake "The Snake" Roberts has predicted us to win.
Trust him.
-
Seems like we are going to have quite the Bills contingent in the stands...lot of Bills fans it seems are making the trip.
-
We're definitely not getting any love by the media going into this game. All the experts picking the Browns, we're very clearly an afterthought.
Just the way I like it.
-
Donte...I don't...what the...I...I...
Just stop.
-
No excuses.
Bring em' on.
-
Time to win it again this week EJ! Congrats!

Ballston Lake here.....wonder how many on this board are in the Cap Dist.
My parents still live in Ballston Lake, I was born and raised there actually.
I'm willing to bet we could easily put together a new Bills Backers Club in the Capital Region.
-
:D
BTW, no more in Ballston Spa?
Nope, finally did the mature thing and bought my first house up in Wilton, NY.
Now I'm rooted here.
-
Nice thoughts on EJ...but man, those two are some of the worst announcers in football right now.
They called the game when the Bills upset the Patriots with about as much excitement as someone taking your order over the drive-thru speaker at Burger King.
"Looks like the Bills scored"
"Yup"
"...you want a vanilla milkshake with that?"

The Chiefs will snag one of the Wild Card spots. Their schedule is beyond cupcake, they will easily cruise to at least 10-6 on the year.
Then they'll get promptly crushed in the playoffs...but hey, just making it there is an accomplishment.

Keep prodding the tiger, Mr. Barnes.
-
Per BB.com.
Congrats Mario! Keep it up this week against the Jets!

Pro Football Focus @PFF
Leodis McKelvin leads the league with 26 targets, but he's allowed only 10 catches for 111 yards. 0 TDs 5 PDs
That, my friends, is truly astounding.
Keep up the awesome work Leo!

If Pettine leaves, I guarantee that Henderson gets the job. He's very popular with the players and they won't have to change the playbook.
No doubt in my mind Henderson is our new defensive coordinator.
