  1. Didn't we have Rodd at one point? He must have been cut before the phallic-initiative began.
  2. Come on. Was there ever a player destined to be a picked up by the Bills? Wang, Wood, Hangartner, Levitre, Hardman. I'm not sayin, just sayin'. http://pewterreport....icles/view/7432
  3. I think it was because Urbik began his career as a RT and only played Guard his last season or two in college. Still though, your point stands...he's not going to see very many quick DEs if he's along the interior.
  4. Far too old at this point, heck he was talking about hanging it up a few seasons ago. Give me nutjob Owen Schmitt if we're looking for a FB upgrade (which I honestly don't think we are, the staff seems happy with McIntyre).
  5. Because the Lions have a higher wavier claim than us and got him earlier today.
  6. Yes, he had a knee injury and was on IR. Was said to be having a good camp though and is fully healed now.
  7. If he's lucky he'll coach that one extra year. The Vikings seem to have a penchant for hiring high-school gym coaches as their head coach (also see Tice, Mike)
  8. Very nice signings! Martin has always been a pair of reliable hands and isn't afraid to go over the middle. I like the idea of bringing him in and getting some inside information on the Fins. The Urbik pick really makes me happy though, leading up to the 2009 Draft I thought the best guard prospects were Levitre and Urbik. Turns out we get them both! PS: I dont think the Bills are done yet. If I were Cary Harris, I'd be worried...
  9. Ingram was a beast in college but the poor guy just can't stay healthy. Last I heard he was still recovering from his second torn ACL.
  10. Nice job!
  11. Its not Spencer Havner, he was unfortunately claimed by the Lions earlier today. He would have made a good Bill. Could be Martin Rucker who got released yesterday, or maybe David Martin formerly of the Fins. In fact, signing Martin might be a good idea to get a glimpse into the Fins game planning for this weekend.
  12. Sweet, excellent news on Bell. I seriously doubt we'll go into next season with Jackson AND Lynch on this team so he'll be on the big boy roster in 2011. My prediction for our PS: Joique Bell, RB (I know, going out on a limb here...) Levi Brown, QB Kyle Calloway, OG/OT Nick Hennessey, OT Naaman Roosevelt, WR Sean Allen, C Lonnie Harvey, NT Chase Coffman or Martin Rucker, TE (My best guess is they'll get an out of town TE to play on the PS)
  13. The Wall's favorite pre-draft love affair QB, Dan LeFevour got cut. Speaking of former draft favorites, DE Jarron Gilbert (he of jumping out of pool fame) also got the axe today from Chicago. Finally Offensive Guard Josh Beekman got cut, he's only 26 years old and has 20 starts under his belt. He's also an Amsterdam, NY native.
  14. Really good! Wedding went off perfectly and the Hawaii honeymoon was nice and relaxing. Now we're just trying to rotate back into the world after a cray-zay last two weeks.
  15. That would make the most sense. Released but is a guaranteed PS addition, hence the reason for the two twitter posts.
  16. I'm Ko Simpson and I'm worth $7.50 an hour here at the Home Depot!
  17. Very nice, I'm anxious to see what he can do during the regular season.
  18. Right? Thats the most amazing thing about that article IMO, that Mike Williams had his career six feet under and was a mere footnote in NFL history until this offseason. Crazy. By the way, props to you for the Crow avatar. You know you love him.
  19. I wouldn't get too worked up over the "tough" schedule just yet as time has proven that some of those teams will fall off. The team that has the projected "toughest" schedule going into a season rarely ever finishes with the toughest schedule due to some teams not meeting expectations. Methinks some of those squads will struggle this year and be a bit easier for us to win...my best guesses? The Steelers and Vikings both will be below .500.
  20. Well ladies and gents, I havent been around too much lately as I've planning a wedding that involves long-distances and lunatic relatives. Today is finally the day and we're set to be married in at 5pm today in Cohoes, NY. You know how I know I found the right woman? She actually suggested to me yesterday that I should check the Bills pre-season score once we're at the reception hall so we can see how they're doing. And to think, when I met her she had zero idea about the wacky world of professional football. So I'm off everyone, wish me luck!
  21. Would be a great signing for us, even if its just a 1 year depth deal to see what he can do.
  22. Ha! Those are pretty good, pretty much nails what its like to be a Bills fan. There should definitely be a future video about our tendency to railroad RBs out of town.
  23. Chris Brown from BB.com chimes in with his "realistic" TE options for the Bills. http://blogs.buffalo...tic-te-options/ I didn't realize that Colin Peek was released recently from Atlanta, I really liked him coming out of college and he does have connections with Gailey. Methinks thats our man.
  24. What I find funny is how a lot of the national media seem to be saying "He looked great on that 31 yard TD run...BUT...he only averaged 2 yards per carry for the rest of his runs" and then go on to blame that on the Bills O-Line. Did they even bother watching the guy in college? Those numbers are essentially identical to his quarter numbers at Clemson. The guy is going to get negative yards, he's going to get 1 or 2 yard gains. The difference being he will explode at least once a game for some huge yardage and it'll balance out in the end. Just his style of running, he's not a 4 yard pound-it-out runner.
  25. Come on LJ Smith, this is your best chance at getting back into the NFL! I'm not saying anything about this as it ends up being beneficial to my buddy Stupar.
