Lovers forever, face-to-face
My city, your mountains
Stay with me, stay
I need you to love me
I need you today
Give to me your leather
Take from me my lace
He's not concerned with yesterday
He knows constant change is here today
He's noble enough to know what's right
But weak enough not to choose it
He's wise enough to win the world
But fool enough to lose it
Well, you can cry me a river, cry me a river
I cried a river over you
Now you say you're sorry
For being so untrue
Well, you can cry me a river, cry me a river
I cried, cried, cried a river over you
If I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you a fur coat
But not a real fur coat that's cruel
And if I had a million dollars (If I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you an exotic pet
Yep like a llama or an emu
My thinking is that a healthy Josh rises above the abysmal O Line play enough for the Bills to win. He's done it before, and with the D holding the Jags to 9, one score is all he needed to generate. Healthy, he does that 9 out of 10 times.
Will Josh be recovered from his illness? If so, they'll put up 24+ and cover. I am not backing off of this...Josh was sick yesterday even though they won't admit it. He was starting to get sick during the week (look at practice press Q&A from Thursday(?)), and was clearly under the weather in yesterday's post-game presser. I don't mean covid, I just mean regular old sick. He toughed it out and played through it because Mitch was out. If Mitch was available, I wonder if they would have made a change when it was clear that Josh was struggling.
Hopefully they can put yesterday behind them and take out all of their frustrations on the Jets.
A good team simply does not lose this game. It’s not like the Jags offense came out guns blazing and racked up points. The Bills D held them to 9 points. If the Bills O was only marginally competent, they score 16 and do what they need to do to win. Today, they weren’t even occasionally competent. I guess we’ll see what kind of heart this team has and their ability to bounce back from their worst game in years. Oh, and Josh was sick today, but they won’t admit it
Haven’t seen this anywhere yet, but Josh was clearly under the weather today. It was obvious in his post game presser…just listen to his voice. And he was starting to sound a bit raspy earlier in the week when he met with the press after practice.
is that why they lost? heck no, but it had to contribute to his clearly sub-standard play. Yes the line was a sieve, but a fully healthy Josh gets away more than today’s sick Josh did.
There are way worse things in life than being 5-3…but this is better be one hell of a wake up call for a team that’s supposed to be a contender. I know it’s not over yet, but …
Started watching Locke & Key on Netflix. Part supernatural mystery, part family drama. A few episodes in, and liking it so far. Based on a graphic novel/comic series by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son)
