Now that Diggs is in Houston, WR is an especially big hole on this team. I'm personally in favor of utilizing the draft to shore this position up. Trading up for an elite guy (the most unrealistic option) such as Nabers, would be my ideal option, but even moving up a few picks into the early 20's for a Brian Thomas Jr. or AD Mitchell would work.
However - would anyone be interested in the Bills trading for an established player and allowing the draft to fall to them? If so, what WR's do you think would be possible, productive, and available?
My vote would be Davante Adams. Per Spotrac he has a cap hit of just under 17 mil and an out in his contract after this season (voidable years I believe) that would help with the comp pick formula. Adams doesn't want to go through a rebuild with the Raiders (I'm in Vegas and this is a known "rumor") and wants to finally win. championship. Thoughts on this or any other WRs?
he was trending on twitter mai ly cause he was praising Jakobi Myers of all ppl , saying he learned so much from him. Myers did have a solid season-71/807/8
He has had similar #s since 2020. Nice signing by LV. 3/33 last year, after rookie deal was up. Could see Samuel put up similar or better numbers
Adams sounded very content in Vegas under coach Pierce

phenomenal route runner, fast/explosive and entering his prime.
But a new contract with him would be $25m+ a year deal and he would cost a 1st rounder at a minimum
Still has 1 year on rookie deal. I think a 2nd could get it done. He sounded disgruntled in SF if I'm remembering correctly

Yes, solid right now. Out of that group I think Cooks and maybe Cooper make it to FA. Neither are really that tempting in 2025.
Cooper looked good to me last year, under questionable QB play but age an issue. Cooks continues to be super underrated , both would be a vet guy on a short term deal.
Jefferson, I feel could demand a trade in Minny but boy that price would be crazy.
CeeDee could possibly do the same
Higgins should be available unless he's dealt this year n signs extension with new team.
How bout Devonta Smith?👀👀

Just a peek here at the 25 FA WR market. Obviously this can and will diminish in size as guys get re-signed or tagged or 5th years picked up but if the Bills are in the market, there are some very intriguing names.
Jefferson
Chase
CeeDee Lamb
Ayuik
Higgins
Devonta Smith
Brandin Cooks
Amari Cooper
Just to name a few. A very solid market!

How about the contracts he DIDNT give out.NOT paying Tremaine Edmunds $18M/yr
NOT paying Gabe Davis $13M/yr
NOT giving Poyer a massive extension last year, letting him test free agency, then letting him sign for significantly less.
NOT paying Jordan Phillips after a 10 sack season.
NOT paying Shaq Lawson after his best season.
These are all situations where Bills players were allowed to walk and another GM gave them an awful contract. Where’s the credit for these?
FACTUAL!!
Much deserved !

They'll probably expand on the 2 TE personnel but not exactly how i envision Knox. Maybe Kincaid

that Douglas trade was awesome
We also get Milano back.
Not really to concerned

Saw on twitter that Diggs was yapping at Josh while he was talking to Kyle Allen n Josh said " it's only 1 f***ing game" and kept it moving
-
i rather get opinions on here. These guys have no clue like us but think they're big shots. Only one i like is cover 1 cause they break down the plays n what not
-
We did under Brady. He was clearly the best WR on the field under him

Obviously, you know what you're doing. SMH
lol i mean you can't win em all. I'm currently at 73% for 2024..
Just straight bets, occasionally a parlay but only 1/10th of what I bet on straights
55 minutes ago, billsfan714 said:I just love reading all the Diggs isnt going anywhere posts...hilarious....just like the easy money bet on he's staying.
I mean it was pretty shocking. Nobody thought we'd trade him this year cause of dead $ but looking back, we'd likely never get that type of compensation and under Brady we realized we could win without him..But hindsight is 20/20
Don't recall seeing anyone predicting we move him this offseason

Rex Ryan inherited the #2 defense in the NFL from 2014. He proceeded to then turn them into a middling group in 2015 and hired his idiot brother to coach with him in 2016. He wouldn't have gotten this team to the Playoffs multiple times in a row, more or less win multiple division titles in a row. One of the most overrated coaches of all time.
Right.
In 17 McDermott got them in with arguably a worse team
Complete culture shift

Great deal for Diggs … he looks like he won the tradefor sure. Also looks a bit better for Buf, as they would've likely released him or got a day 3 pick next year

Tweet speaks for itself. Love it

looks good. Much better than previous years.. Especially considering we need to load up on alot of depth with so many vets departing

after reading Dianna Russini say today that Diggs has been in contact with CJ Stroud and the texans players for over a month I wish Josh Allen would have publicly ripped diggs on the sideline after his absurd drop of a perfect pass in the most important moment of the year.
He was always too nice with the guy publicly and I know that is his demeanor and its admirable but I think he is going to love never being in this type of position again with an ego maniac like diggs.
that crap with diggs and his overrated brother last year made me mental. I really truly hope someone in the locker room said something but I bet since Diggs had the whole situation manipulated to where he can say whatever and no one can ever question him I bet no one did.
I'm glad 17 didn't feel the need to stoop to that level.. That drop was atrocious

Well, he tore up his knee pretty badly and was still coming back from it last year. Could be a solid depth piece.
Swing tackle? Has played G too. Maybe takes over the Edward's role from last year

Ayuik and Jefferson both become FAs next year when that Diggs $ comes off the books and Tres $ becomes available after June 1st
-
Beane confirmed in his presser that he spoke to Allen sometime prior, that it was a possibility and Allen must have said he's fine with it

Hines would have imo. That injury sealed his fate though..
