I'm so sick of mock drafts, some of these guys have 7 -10+
Only people that matter is Brandon Beane and his team
2 days ladies and gents
-
crazy to think they had an opportunity to draft 2 top 3 QBs since 2017 and messed both up so badly

Josh Allen is worth probably 20 spots on his own.
Exactly
We have a top 2 QB
And top 5 GM/HC imo
That alone should have us top 5 easily

looks like a 6-11 uniform to me

Can't stand mocks. The top experts get like 10% (?) right
pick 25 Kool-Aid McKinstey lmao
Key and Peele would be proud
-
I dominated terrible high school teams. Easily 11+
Sike . 1-5. Feel like they could scheme me an open screen or some easy pass like that, 2 passes at the most

how much real NIL money are Day 3 type draftees bringing in right now??
5 star recruits (top 32 of them) mirror the top 32 draftees typically. The NIL dropoff to 4 star players is huge. Day 3 would include few, if any of 4 or 5 star players.
So how would NIL affect this at all for day 3? According a group that monitors this stuff (SANIL), the a QB in top 25 PFF grade gets about $350K a year. a top 25 TE will get 100K.
once you get to the Day 3 guys (PFF >150), the amounts go to $50k for QB, all the way down to $10K for TE. Compare this to Mr. Irrelevant, who gets $1,000,000 a year for 4 years.
Therefore any draftable player should forego NIL and enter the draft for a lot more money.
That's a great question and I certainly don't have exact figures but I'm sure they're treated like royalty on campus - free cars, meals, autographs etc etc
Might not be millions, but enough where them and their family are comfortable and taken care of for their final year, all while potentially moving their draft stock up.

It is a made up stat. Read just a few replies down and the guy who tweeted it admits it.
i got tricked but I'm almost certain Mahomes leads this stat by alot

That one against the Jets last year was so obvious. The call was ticky-tack and the INT was game-clinching for the Jets. I don't think that it's conspiracy. I think that the refs are just in awe of his greatness and subconsciously help him out. NBA stars benefit from this all the time.
Absolutely, was at that game , literally happened right in front of me, that was 100% not p.i

That's ridiculous
That difference has to make you think there's something going on behind the scenes, there's no chance the difference is that great, it's just statically impossible..

They'll be adding a vet WR post 6/1 I'd guess

Was omw home from work, listening to WFAN and they were playing Joe Schoens live media scrum.
Couldn't listen to whole thing but one statement really stood out for the whole draft and every team.
He stated there was either 140 or 170 (can't remember exact #) players they had a draftable grade on, that are staying in school this year, majority because the NIL deals and ability to make $$, in his opinion
So this is the bad side to the NIL deals. Going to make GMs lives that much more difficult, especially on day 3, where Beane has been stellar.
Just wanted to drop this nugget, as it kinda changes the whole landscape of the draft especially hearing it straight from a GM.
It'll only get worse as years go on imo...

I had high hopes for Kaiir, but he has not shown a darn thing in this league. He may still be developed, but I doubt he’s shown enough to get much of anything in terms of a move up in the first round.
Same. He has looked good at times in spot duty but Benford is clearly much better in this scheme.
As for trading, i think a player for player trade is possible. If we can swap him for a cb on a team that runs man alot, might be able to get a good CB.
His contract is a rookie deal. He has potential. Never know, all it takes is 1 gm that likes what he has seen

First and foremost, Schoen should trust his evaluations of the QBs in this draft. One of the worst things a GM can do is to allow need to distort his evaluation of a player - especially a QB. Just because you have a need doesn't mean that there's a player who can fill it. It happens every year though. Honestly, their best option might be to tank this season after they acquire more draft capital in the 2025 draft so they can get their guy then.
Agreed but they might not have the luxury of waiting. Both their seats are warming up. If they have another stinker, with no real direction or hope for the future, ownership should be saying it's year 4 and we've gotten nowhere.
A rookie QB buys them time. Being year 3 and having a very high pick. IF they feel like their guy is attainable. Obviously they can't pick a qb just to pick a qb

Hmm.
Schoen should do whatever it takes to get HIS QB.
Just like Buf did in a similar class with 4 -5 elite prospects
They didn't draft Jones and can get out that deal next year. Thank God they took Saquon in 17

I have said it about a couple of position groups.... this is a MUCH better draft class than last year through the first 120 or so players on the board. My top 100 finishes on the 3rd/4th borderline this year whereas it was late 4th last year. However, a lot of the guys after that are older prospects who have underachieved in college. I don't think 2023 was particularly strong late either tbh... but 2020-2022 were much deeper than this class.
ya after Williams pick last year, not 1 guy got a snap. Now it was a loaded Bills team and Alex Austin rd 7 , did get playing time in NE and looks like a really good developmental cb. Almost wish we had him over Elam 🤷♂️
There will always be guys who slip through the cracks as far as being NFL caliber day 3 and beyond, just less this year , but iur gm has a good track record of finding gems on day 3
I'm sure a cpl 6s will be deal to move up or aquire capital for next year
-
Haven't the Bills took a few 1st rders they didn't have much contact with in previous years under BBB?
Pretty sure there was a couple
-
Franklin . if our 1st rd WR target isn't there in rd 1
-
Without Davis and a non existent Diggs we still were a cpl FG kicks , drops and throws missed by milliseconds from beating KC.
Our window was closed last year too. We'll be fine!

RIP Juice
never saw him play live but his stats/highlights are incredible. Then he had an incredible post football career. If that incident doesn't happen, he'd be remember as 1 of the goats
p.s , if ya haven't watched 30 for 30 called June 17th 1994 , it's an absolute must watch.
So many great sports moments were going on at the same time as the infamous Bronco chase. Just watch and thank me later

Well, i think to regroup a bit. We need to restock with young legs, etc. Kinda part of the biz.
A package deal sending him elsewhere for another player and a draft pick may not be a bad option.
Younger and cheaper is what were up against.
I predict our LBs will be nasty this season. Can't wait.
Dude before Milanos injury they were EVERYWHERE on the field. Played fast and very decisive
Also think Williams will continue to develop into a beast

If they did, it would mean they're super confident in Bernard and Williams.
Bernards a stud. Can't see how they wouldn't be super confident in him. Played like a pro bowler/borderline all pro.
Regardless of how they feel on Williams, no chance they move Milano. It's not like he's coming off an acl. He'll be ready for all off season programs.
I personally do love Williams as depth though but Milano in another level, and a top 3 LB on a reasonable contract.
Remember folks, we get over 10 mil on the cap after 6/1 from Tres release

1st Round Draft Poll...WWBD (what will Beane do)?
in The Stadium Wall

I think the 2 for Diggs is in play
All depends on if Beane wants a specific guy, if so , weve seen him move up a few times. If not get draft capital and move back
