Christian Benford was a 6th round pick.

Khalil Shakir was a 5th round pick.

Don't know who is going to turn into good players or not at this stage but the Bills seem to have a knack for finding the later round players that contribute

    Milano

    Diggs

    etc etc.

I have no idea if this guy is going to be a good WR. I have seen very little of him. I just feel like we didn’t do anywhere near enough at WR. I don’t want to even attempt to fix this today. These rounds are not where you find suitable replacements. Can you get lucky? Yes. Nothing in this league is a give. And I’m not interested in just writing years off. We lost the best/2nd best WR in teen history and Davis and replaced them with basically nothing. It’s not enough. I fully  expect led us to move way up and get one of the true studs here or trade for an Ayuk/Samuel. This isn’t good enough enough now and I fear it’s too late to make a move that will change that.

Besides the big 3 WRs, you're getting lucky no matter where or when you pick your WR.

Even the 3, 1 , maybe 2 is destined to fail and a later pick succeed over them.

All we k ow is Beane has put together a helluva roster year in and out since his arrival

That’s probably true and an interesting thought. The drops were tough last year.

ya both my brothers,  both Cowboys fans thought Diggs was super overrated and he obviously had a major drop that puts 7 on the board in our biggest game,  was invisible for half a year.

We have 2 super athletic, twitchy guys that get separation in Shakir,Samuel and a dangerous TE in Kincaid.

I love that theyadded a whole new dimension in Coleman. Could be a contested catch freak.

The reality is, only a handful of these WR will get a 2nd contract with the team that drafted them and out of our realistic options,  I love that we went with the guy who isn't a replica of our top 2 WR options

Offense I'm not that worried. I think our defense could be our downfall. Our secondary could be one of the leagues weakest. Hope I'm wrong.

Our secondary only has questions at S and everyone was b******* about how old and slow Po and Hyde became. Beane brought in 2 vets and a promising rookie. Our DBs are one of the best trios out there. Douglas and Taron are studs. Benford is a promising young guy with elite possibilities who I love as cb2. Elam is quality depth.

Respectfully to those that are happy about this pick I just don’t understand how you don’t see, or don’t want to see the comparison to somebody like Benjamin.

That’s not a player you want to be compared to and he compares to him, unfortunately, rather well.

His highlights (if you watched and I watched him even before the draft) are as much about bad defensive back play as they are about him.

Superlatives: he makes one handed grabs, sometimes, and he can jump for the ball given his size.

Do those one handed grabs look like Josh throws?

So…our first pick is a jumper.  Sorry, but I wanted more.

    Go Bills.

Benjamin was undisciplined, lazy, poor leader who seemed to give up on his career..

Just cause they have similar body types and skills doesn't mean they're anything alike.

Benjamin could've been a beast but his lack of work ethic stopped that.

He showed that his rookie year, which was very impressive on a team that lacked weapons and allowed defenses to key in on him.

Doubt Coleman has that attitude and he gives this O a dimension they were lacking,  we finally add that big, rugged WR.

You can easily comp him to a Keenan Allen as well. We shall see, something like 73% of rd 1 wrs don’t get an extension from the team thatvdrafted them, so it's not like anyone besides the big 3 maybe were locks to be great.

I personally like the tape and personality and most of all, him giving us a dimension we're lacking on O.

Beane just said they tried to trade up for him.

ya there's a video of previous team, i thi k Texans, picking and Beane n Co went crazy, immediately saying get Bishop on the phone!

You can tell they wanted him bad and were extremely nervous he'd be taken

You take the best players and this year they are WRs. We don’t need a jag DT, we need deep speed. Franklin and Walker were the right picks and they screwed it up

    ok bud

What franchise are you scouting for again?

This F.O has proven itself to be elite imo

There’s almost no way that this works out positively. Every TD pass thrown from the NFL’s best QB (who the Bills handed to KC) to the WR that holds the combine 40 record (who the Bills handed to KC) will be an emotional trauma. It will repeatedly churn up that Mahomes trade.

After a big trade up for one of the top 3 WRs I honestly thought that our next best option was a trade back to acquire another meaningful pick in this year’s draft. But that couldn’t be with KC. This is devastating.

who tf cares about the 40. the last guy to hold the record was awful. So was the guy before him
