Right? Hard to believe they were able to turn the unit around with a couple of simple, rather inexpensive, but strategic changes. Feels like the pieced together a decent poker hand after drawing what looked like not much of anything. Health and the continuity that goes with it have been a huge help.
Ya absolutely, Ocyrus was also great value. Alec Anderson would be a starter here and 90% of teams if we didn't have 2 stud tackles, he still played 27% of snaps last year , super effective in the 6 ol looks and a real luxury

Don't be surprised if he breaks out, very young still

Not only was the defensive line massively improved I would also say at corner there was significant investment.Absolutely. Look at the Chiefs game for example , our 2 starting outside CBs when Benford went down aren't on the team anymore , shoot Douglas is still a FA!
Tre and even Dane are upgrades , I'd rather had them in that game and 2 rookies. Also S help
2 rookies made a massive impact in Phillies secondary last year
I love this new look DL as well

I think this kid is gonna be a steal in the 3rd. He will be a stud.
Absolutely, I think Hoecht will have an impact as well as Forrest at S . Really like the way Beane maneuvered through the draft and FA
Only losses were a washed up Von and Hollins, made a great offense better and a mediocre defense much better

This is civil and not criminal and therefore is the business of the two parties only. League and team should have no involvement.
Exactly.
And Beane was aware before the draft, I'm sure Bills did their due diligence and were content

Surprised they got rid of Jonnu . He seemed to be key piece in that O and turned his career around

Extremely odd

Any chance that the Hoechst and Ogunjobi suspensions get reviewed and possibly cut?
no clue, I sure hope so, it's a shame guys can have violent criminal charges and nothing happens

I'm skeptical. Buffalo is depending on rookies to make the D-line work. Those rookies (Jackson, Sanders and Walker) may work out and be terrific, but until we see them on the field in games we're not going to be sure that the Bills have elevated their defensive line to anywhere near that level.
Hoecht and Ogunjobi should be big time additions. I know the suspensions suck but they're nice vet additions, Hoecht has potential to be really good long term but ultimately these rookies will be the deciding factor, I love the moves.
Lost nobody of significance and added a ton of potential

It would still be just us 60+ guys 🤷♂️
That's awesome. I didn't mean it to be rude, if I set something up would you be interested? We can have a few TBD members talk bills, I'll make a post about it , figure out the details

Anthony Prohaska and the Cover1 guys say "Hi"
Nothing wrong with competition, I don't know them, I'm somewhat familiar with the Cover1 brand but I still rely on TBD as my go to source for everything Bills.
I feel like if a few of us got together we could make our own lane!!

Funny, as after watching a bunch of podcasts/shows on youtube the last few weeks, including the awful Schopp and the Bulldog, I was thinking the exact same thing. That if the new ones are competent, it could not be worse than what is out there now, especially compared to the jaded lazy barnacles just picking up a paycheck.
Young, hard working new blood needed.
As far as podcasts, I am enjoying most of the Shout shows, as Matt Parino is a good, prolific writer and his shows are like his writing--not any grandstanding or filler, no arrogance at all, and solid, fact based information and analysis.
When he has criticisms it comes across as so much more legitimate than so many other podcasters, broadcasters, writers (and posters on this forum), not hate filled bashing. As that is not his main objective. And not many would read his articles if that were the case.
We need to start a TBD podcast/show of some sort..
LFG
Yall are my go to guys when it comes to the Bills anyway
This has been the most reliant and respected Bills information/opinions ive gotten in the last 20 years, let's do it!!!

Why is every Bills radio or podcast guy 60+ with a gray beard? Would love to start something on here with a new generation
Bills radio needs a breath of fresh air, no disrespect intended
We should start a TSW pod!!!

And to think we could've had 17 throwing to this legend 🤔

Who's the replacement QB?
That's the main question, with this OL and run game the O could still do damage, even with a mediocre pass gm

Rookie - TJ Sanders. He was already getting some positive reviews from beat reporters at OTAs and I think it will only get better once the pads go on.
Non-rookie - Elijah Moore. He also got a lot of buzz at OTAs. His skill set will shine in a camp setting and I think ultimately the fanbase's expectations will get high, possibly too high.
I'm excited about both, Sanders tape is awesome, Moore was a stud in college, has had some success but hopefully coming to an elite organization can put it all together, poor kid only knows the disastrous Jets n Browns

Buffalo has seen a lot of bad coaches. McD is not one of those bad ones. He is in the top 10 best in the league, and perhaps the top 5. Bills: NO action required.
ya I'm a big McD fan, always defended him on here but I just can't take the post season collapses
Being a Knicks fan as well, I hated the Tibs firing, it'll be curious to see how that works out
Even though I was a baby at the time, I don't want another 4 falls of Buffalo type documentary out there in 20 years

Any coach that has JA17 as their QB should statistically be a top 5 coach. That being said…I agree with the PFF for once.
Ya, nyc radio was trashing McD the other day, saying we should've moved on 2 3 years ago like the knicks did

Startrd really getting into the Bills around 07 , was always a Bills fan but was too young. I remember crying after the Music City miracle. During the drought I was still very obsessed
Only sport and team I'm like that with, I'm a Knicks/Yankee fan also and have little interest if they stink and don't take losses nowhere near as bad as with Buf.
