  1. More of the same from yet another disenchanted sports columnist. Too bad it's warranted.
  2. Thanks, Deano. There's actually one that opened up in Westminster MD, which is where we used to live before moving to Hell (Baltimore). I may have to make the half hour or so trip up there.
  3. Figures. Looks like Roy Rogers has gone the way of the Red Barn, another place w/ food I really liked that went out of business.
  4. They need a pass rush, meaning they could use a couple DEs that can bring the heat off the edge plus a couple LBs that can mix it up and bring heat from anywhere on the field. Consistently.
  5. I loved their fried chicken. When I worked @ McDonald's years ago, I would walk over to Roy's for lunch. Is Roy Rogers even still in business? I thought they were all closed. There used to be one 'bout half an hour from me, but now it's become..............an Arby's. Yuck!
  6. I told my wife that I think it's "roast beefe".
  7. The coach......or the oh so clever play on his name?
  8. I can't recall what was more fun: smelling like Tobacco Road or listening to all of the inebriated football scholars on a weekly basis.
  9. Hey, she's the one w/ today and tomorrow off. Her lazy a** can go drive up there and get it.
  10. That has been THE problem for years.
  11. Pick up one for Lisa (she's a Five Guys fiend). I'm good for it.
  12. Really? I don't think they're the best or anything (they're no Five Guys), but they're okay.
  13. Now, what was so bad 'bout that time? All they did was: get rid of Polian let Will Wolford go in free agency let House Ballard go in free agency What's the big deal?
  14. How ironic. They've been floundering 'round since the 90s. Hmm...
  15. I guess it's a part of growing up. I used to like their sandwiches (I had the French Dip yesterday), but I think your typical elementary school cafeteria could do just as well as Arby's. My wife never really cared for 'em; she's always been partial to Hardee's roast beef (which is far better than Arby's).
  16. Joe's bright and sunny outlook on life has been a TBD constant for many years.
  17. The rarer, the better. We went to Arby's for dinner last night (temporary insanity), and I couldn't believe how their "roast beef" looked. Looks more like Steakumms to me.
  18. Come on Joseph, admit it. You know it's true. Italian seasoned roast beef w/ a little mustard on wheat bread is pretty tasty.
  19. Yeah, but it's way more in calories. I'm watching my figure.
  20. Italian seasoned roast beef w/ a little mustard on wheat bread is pretty tasty.
  21. Consider the defense's effort in the Denver game. That wasn't "laying an egg". Same w/ the Jets game. Don't take that to mean they played perfectly, but they did play hard and kept the team in the game.
  22. Nah. The Bills won 7 games this year. The Lions didn't win any games. Bills win!
  23. I'll preface my response by saying, of course, that I don't hate. As for your take on matters KTFABD, you bring up some good points. Thing is, it's all window dressing to me. The one fact I keep coming back to is "9 going on _____." We can debate whether or not it's Ralph's fault, or Jauron's fault, or Trent's fault, or Losman's fault, or Peters' fault, or Marve's fault, but that fact does not change. It's still "9 going on ___". But, if it makes everyone happy, look for your scapegoat and point your fingers. Only 3 more years...
